Chapter 19: Battle in the city.

In the fight between Isz and the Voice of Imposing Power, Isz becomes completely different, and each attack from his claws tears through the enemy's armor.

Isz uses a purple lightning bolt on the Voice of Imposing Power, disintegrating almost his entire body.

Voice of Imposing Power: (panting) -Ah, you... even killing me won't stop the course of events... the mistress of illusions has already foreseen everything.

Isz rips the voice's head off, leaving the golden sword on the ground, and Isz begins to lose consciousness.

The force exerted was immense; Isz fell as the ruins crumbled, his wounds regenerating, and he heard a voice saying: "I will get you out of here, she will not win, keep your head held high no matter what happens."

As Isz fainted, he remembered everything he had been through, his master, his friends, and the promise to leave, and thought: "I will die here..."

Lightning Beast: "It's just a drain on my power, I will call your friends to help you."

Isz gets scared and finally faints.

A giant lightning bolt strikes and Harpya looks in that direction. Cerberus approaches Harpya, biting his arm to signal him to go somewhere.

Harpya sees the dog's mouth full of blood and that Hindal wasn't there. He quickly understood what happened to his friend. Harpya's eyes fill with tears, but he continues following the dog.

In the castle, Norbit continued to fight against the demons and the Voice of Despair.

Seeing the city teeming with creatures, he decides to seal the portal from inside the castle, but the Voice of Despair ripped off his arm. Seeing there was no other way, Norbit sacrificed his life using forbidden light magic and defeated almost all the enemies, including the Voice of Despair.

Norbit: (panting) -It's over... you didn't advance into the city...

Norbit sees a silhouette wearing a white tunic and says: -So it was you... why are you doing this...

Norbit dies in the castle, but manages to thwart Zhofia's plans, who is taken away by a mysterious figure along with her demons.

In the city, scouts, alchemists, and shields fought against the enemies. Helena and Mary looked towards the orphanage and headed to confront the Devilhans who were trying to invade.

The two defeated several enemies alongside Anna, but were surprised by the Voice of Lust, who spoke: "Good to see you again, Anna the demon reaper. I missed you since our last meeting."

Anna began combat with the enemy and had difficulties. Helena and Mary helped their master by providing support.

The voice was very strong, and to complicate the situation, the Voice of the Abyss appeared along with specters in the center of the city.

Voice of the Abyss: "I'm sorry, Lust. That knight with the dog gave me more trouble than I imagined, but I see the ritual is working."

Voice of Lust: -You're late, go check the castle, and don't forget not to touch the lady's chosen one.

Voice of the Abyss: -I know that, I don't sense her presence here on the battlefield, but the man is with his peers.

Anna is thoughtful: "-Chosen one? What does that mean?"

Anna orders the girls to retreat, but she knows she can't handle the Voice of Lust alone. High Priest Jako appears with the Staff of Spirits (an immaculate-level weapon that seals any spirits at the cost of the user's life). He joins Anna and leaves the Voice of the Abyss fighting Helena and Mary.

Jako: -Anna, today we will avenge you for everything those bastards did to you and your family. Don't worry about the girls, they'll take care of the other one.

Jako uses his staff, which emits devouring spirits. The voice is impressed by the alchemist's power and attacks, but Anna restrains it with her hooks, and Jako performs an exorcism on the spot.

The voice tries to call for help from another voice, but Anna tears its mouth open, and Jako finishes it off.

Jako runs to the symbols and sacrifices himself in the center, sealing the entrance of demons into the city.

He looks at the chaos around him and feels deep regret for not having realized the true extent of the threat sooner.

Anna seems pleased to have avenged her former companions and falls to her knees, but hears Baron's voice calling her to help with the midnight demons and witches who suddenly appear to help the Voice of Lust enter the orphanage.
