Chapter 1:

dirty dogs bark at bright stones, part I.

your morbid screams are melody to the dreadful ones.

A man sitting on the front seat of a blue car holds the wheel tightly. the streets are in an abnormal complete silence. the man sighs as he opens the door. he gets out of the car. he walks towards a bank with slow and firm steps.

the moment our stranger opens the door, he is met with a desert eagle aiming right at his face. the man is in shock. then out of nowhere a shooting erupts creating absolute chaos. civilians, cops, "Fat Ed" the security guard who was supposed to be off-duty, and some bank robbers drop like flies in question of seconds.

our man in question looks directly at the beautiful blue eyes of one of the bank robbers. a woman of raven black hair who seems to be the leader. and this encounter could be one of destiny, if it wasn't for the gun on her left arm aiming right at his baby-making-machinery.

there is some noise that didn't make much sense to him at first, then it came a loud voice, "NAME." the guy holding the desert eagle asks loudly. the hand holding the pistol shakes violently, and our man could make a quaker joke right now, if it isn't just for how dangerously close is that gun from sending him to the afterlife.

"Petter Barry. I am the previous manager who was fired after I lose my composure, once I learned my girlfriend was cheating on me. and I slapped a loud client." said the man.

"Great. you see Mr. Pit Berry. my people had lost their minds. and we need a hostage."

the innocent man is taken hostage. five wounded bank robbers left with some bags full of cash. and the most important part. they had some diamonds on their pockets. the same diamonds which are the main reason why they decided to target this specific bank.

the bank robbers introduce themselves by John Yellow, Jack White, Joan Blue, Nancy Green, and their leader Ashley Purple. obviously, those aren't their real names. and they decided to name their hostage Petter Red.

in a moment of spontaneous creativity Purple decides to ride the bus. she knows that the cops are behind their trail. maybe the bus is the only option to vanish like phantoms of mischievous deeds and great fortune.

and all that explanation take us to this point. the bus driver and other six people had left the bus. among them was a cop, and probably the only person who could be a danger to them. the bank robbers are thinking deeply about the situation on their hands. two of their man died in the heist. another man was a mole that Purple had to put down. and there is a guy who was arrested. of the five surviving bank robbers. three have small wounds. Blue is bleeding too much from her left leg. and White has a fracture rib that seems to be causing him problems to breathe.

"Purple, I am ashamed to say that we are not making it out of here. we should make a run for it before the lawman's return. we are in deep...." before Yellow could end that phrase he is interrupted by a slap. he looks at White who lets him know that he is fine.

Purple has to make a choice. she tells her people and the hostage to follow her. there is a man sitting on the back of the bus. he is wearing a brown suit. he stands up. he is trying to stop them. he is thinking about their well-being. Purple punches him on the face. she pulls a gun out.

"Heard me out people. we're leaving. and none of you can stop me. now team up." Purple let's everyone else inside the bus know who is boss.

the bank robbers leave the bus. the hostage follows as he has no other choice. as they go around walking into an intense fog. there are lights of a blue like color illuminating the streets. as they advance slowly step by step. they stop for a second to look at some strange figures.

there is a wooden table in the middle of the street. some creepy ghostly kids are eating a big pig made out of wood and ceramic. the pig for a second seems to move as if it were asking for help. the kids look silently at the bank robbers. they have a sinister smile showing razor sharp teeth.

the bank robbers move faster. they don't care if they attract the attention of others. all they care about is to leave that place for good. there is something so wrong about how unnatural the town feels with the lack of life. there are no humans. no animals. not even insects making noise. it is absolutely dead with unorganic noises coming from the darkest corners.

there is something similar to claws growing bigger on the fog. something dark and evil follows. as the intensity of eyes watching them accelerates the heart causing fear.

then a huge building at the heart of the town presents itself in front of them. it seems to be a bank with an abnormal size. Petter believes that they should return to the others. Purple slaps him. she lets him know that she is the only one with the right to command and order the others.

whatever is out there seems to approach them at a rapid lightning like speed. Purple out of choices orders everyone to get inside of the bank.

"What do we do boss? what is going on?" asks one of the robbers.

"Silence animal. let the madam think." answers another robber.

all the thieves are trembling in fear. they are in the need of someone to guide them. someone to tell them that everything is going to be alright. but Purple knows that lying is pointless.

"Hear me out boys. you'll are my family, with the exception of the pale carrot standing by the door. if we go out, we go out in style. and this dumpster is not our style. so don't panic. we may be common criminals in the eyes of the law. but we're hard to kill. we are the roaches of society that will stand firm and strong until we get devoured by social rules, and the dust of gunpowder."
