meet the bloodbriars
A teacher’s conference, filled with gossip, competition, and forced smiles.
I observe, mostly silent. Occasionally, a pointed remark exposes hypocrisy or failure. Colleagues leave impressed. They murmur about my insight.
I slip away unnoticed, enjoying the quiet satisfaction of subtle dominance. Shadows protect me. Chaos surrounds me. All is as it should be.
