Encounter

It was the day of the results for the quiz only two people were anxious for the results for the heat was up for Yuma and Asami

The teacher instructed them to flip up their scripts, the moment of truth came then Asami took a look and she got a massive score of 90% she was happy with what she got "was there a doubt" then she turned her head to face Yuma looking proud when she saw Yuma his face said it all with a shock of surprise.

Asami stood up to got brag thinking that Yuma got a less percentage score "hey Yuma just look what I've got I'm quite sure I've beaten you by a mile" as she approach Yuma she glanced at Yuma script and surprisingly Yuma got 89% just 1% behind Asami.

"wait what! how did you... but how? " she said, Asami couldn't believe that Yuma came this close to to equal her score. Yuma was the most surprised between the the two "Is this really mine because wow, ohh hey Asashi" he said as he saw Asami near him .

"I'm sure your doing this on purpose, any congrats looks like you won't be getting expelled" as she acts proud she showed Yuma her results "But unfortunately I beat you so it's 1 - 0" Yuma looked like he was unbothered but kept cool "This is not over I will beat you in the next task"

The teacher congratulated everyone and told them to relax ; few moments later he introduced a new project for economics were students will pair up as they learn the importance of budget and for future plans.

The assignment came with some crazy conditions were on the final day no one will be allowed to go to the cafeteria, so instead both partners will each cook a meal for each other in so learning not to over spend on ingredients and pick wisely,

 everyone in the class were surprised but no choice but to do it.

  The teacher brought a ticket randomizer with each ticket having numbers in so fourth the two students with the same number will be partners , so the class commenced as everyone took a number from the randomizer and eventually they found each others partner.

Asami number was no.2 so she began to look for a partner with the same number but eventually she stood at someone specific table and saw the number "You gotta be kidding me" that person was Yuma and so he replied "there's no way your my partner".

The heat between the two was too intense so they approached the teacher and asked to switch partners with someone else but the rest of the students said nothing as they were satisfied with their current partners so with no choice Yuma and Asami both accepted the situation. 

The day of the project will be on the first day of the week, then later on school came out everyone then headed home,
 on the way Asami was in her family car she spotted Yuma walking home then she wondered why didn't he take the bus home "I wonder why is he walking?".

It was the following day now as it was the weekend and so Asami decided to go out to the market with one of her close friend which she also study at Starlight Academy , as they were hanging out at the market
 Asami couldn't help but think about Yuma the whole way walking wondering what is he doing.

"Asami are you alright, you look distress" she asked, Asami then responded with a smile "It's just this boy his name is Yuma, I feel like his making my life a little interesting " Shuna was a bit startled and wondered if Asami was beginning to develop feelings for boy.

Shuna then decided to ask "oww are you beginning to fall for this boy Yuma" from out of nowhere Asami became defensive "don't be silly Shuna, no way I'm developing feelings for that prick I just wanna crush him" 

Asami began to rush a bit as her face looked a bit pale glowing turning red a bit but Shuna she noticed it and just smile.

They two girls sat down on the outside then Asami stood up to go order some drinks because she wanted to treat out Shuna for being a good friend. Asami saw the menu and mentioned which drinks she wants but at the same time someone also said  "I would like a blueberry smoothie drink with some extra ice with a straw please" as Asami heard someone said the same thing she turned on her side and saw Yuma also looking at her.

Both were surprised to see each other at the market "No it can't be Yuma! what are you doing here?" meanwhile Yuma was speechless "I could ask the same, anyway I wanted to get some fresh air took a walk and came here I felt thirsty" They both got their drinks.

"How convenience that you also like blueberry smoothie" then Yuma took a look at Asami and for moment he was blown away to see her in her casual clothes "wow that colour looks amazing on you it goes with your beautiful eyes",  Asami heart felt like it bounced a beat in that momement from hearing that.

They both realized that awkward moment and tried to avoid it as they try to go in all directions busy turning around like they don't know where to go "uhm bye I better get going " Yuma went right but actually wrong way "Yha same here " as Asami also goes the wrong the way then they turned back.

As they turn back to go the right way opposite to each other they both kept blocking each others way "I meant this way, stop you go right and i will go left" then Asami responded "Yha uhm bye see you later" that both became their most awkward moment they had with each other.

Both as they get back to their respective seats , their thoughts were far from reality as Shuna when she was busy talking to Asami the fair maiden Asami she was far away in thoughts thinking about Yuma and that fateful encounter.

Yuma was also in the same situation as he just drinks his drink while thinking about how Asami looked today and couldn't think of nothing else but her for the rest of the day.

The day for the Project finally came as both partners will cook for each other this is were things starts to heat for real between Yuma and Asami after that encounter from the market.
