We've been waiting for so long.

It's been almost five years, with a month left before our twin's birthday, and after that, the festival that we've been worried about for so long.

That annual festival of ours is when we give thanks to the church, to them who give us the food and everything else we need to survive, we thank them by giving our children as their sacrifice or as they call it a gift for the church, if not children then fruits and vegetables, there are no limits since it's the children they've been waiting for, but even so you have to give something, if not then you'll get banished, that's the rules, that's their rules that they gave us.

Our friend had already left her job a while back, now she's been living with our daughter and taking care of her, and now we're getting for next month, where they're going to to leave our village, and run away as far as possible, to be out of our reach, to be out of the church's reach.

And as the date comes closer and closer as each day passes, we've been more worried than ever, because after one month, it'll bee the last time that we'll see each other again, this is the last month that we'll see each other, and after that, she'll be far away from us, and with all of that, another month passed.
