The True Face Of Natsuki Shigeru

Orano left after the key he had received, took his belongings from room five, and was looking for Caitrin. 

But Caitrin was on the very top floor, where the Earl's room was, and she was being questioned.

But rather than asking nicely, the Earl was beating her up while shouting,

"How dare you speak like that in front of my people!"

He then kicked her in the face and shouted again,

"Slaves like you who disobey orders make me sick!"

Then he added while trying to calm down and gasping for air,

"All right, now tell me. What was your purpose? Why did you come all this way to Emperal? What was the real purpose of people like you coming here, huh?"

Caitrin responded with blood dripping from her mouth and trying to open her one eye,

"We're not.... here to cause problems for people like you..... and deal with them."

"So you're not telling me the truth. So be it."

As he was about to kick her once more, he looked at her neck and saw the necklace that she carried. He quickly approached her and took the necklace by pulling it from her neck.

He then examined it for seconds and then started smiling widely,

He said,

"This is it! A valuable piece that needs to be auctioned! And it is one of the rarest!"

Then he looked at Caitrin once more and said,

"How can someone like you have such a precious necklace? Where did you get this and what was your purpose? Say it quickly!"

"That necklace was my grandmother's.... and then it was my mother's. Because it had quite sentimental value to me.... my parents gave it to me. So I decided to sell it here to.... save my village. But I couldn't sell it.... because of someone like you."

"Sell it here?"

He started laughing loudly and said,

"You were going to sell it here? Did you think we'd pay a peasant like you for something as valuable as this? You don't even deserve to carry this!"

Then he added,

"But I should at least thank you. After all, if it wasn't for someone like you, this necklace would never have come to me."

The insult and ego contained in his words drove Caitrin mad with anger. Everything he said, every move he made, made her even angrier.

She gritted her teeth and said,

"It's nothing but nonsense that people like you despise others just because of money."

So you can betray me? To make me listen to all that nonsense you call" advice"? Oh, no. I don't have time for such unnecessary things."

To be happy, is it? Don't make me laugh. People only choose money because it makes them feel safe. Because money has no mouth, because it doesn't tell you what to do. That's why they choose money.  Is it worthless for someone to care about you? Is it bad to listen to other people's opinions? No, it's absolutely not!

Because you have more money than someone else, you're not superior to someone else! It's true that people with money live comfortably in this life. And it is true that you can buy something and take what you need to make your life easier with money. But these are all temporary things.  

People like you can never understand the value of working and achieving the pride and emotions that no one can achieve! You can never understand the feeling of having somebody you care about beside you!

Even if a person says "I trust you" or just "I love you", it's worth the world.

I don't want to be a person who lives just for money and forgets the value of life! 

I don't want to be a disgusting person like you!"

As she talked, the expression on his face got angrier and angrier. 

But when he was about to hit her once more, someone broke the door and entered inside.

It was Tatsumi. He got his stuff back and looked like usual. But this time, the flame of revenge burning in his eyes was at an incredible rate. He was so angry that he quickly approached the Earl without blinking an eye.

"Hey! Who are you and how did-"

Before the Earl could finish his words, Tatsumi grabbed him by the face and smashed him against the wall, hitting his head three times to the wall. Then, using the end of his fingers, he grabbed the top of his teeth and chin and lifted him into the air.

He looked him deep in the eyes and said with a furious expression,

"If you ever try to beat up a person under my protection or an innocent woman again, I will make you regret that you exist, know that. And instead of the ones you love and who cry behind your back when you die, you'll have the Gold to laugh at that you're dead. And don't ever forget that too."

Then he slammed him on the table and broke the table. Natsuki became half-unconscious on the ground and couldn't feel anywhere in his body.

After that Orano approached Caitrin unlocked her handcuffs, and said,

"I'm sorry for being late. The security measures here were more than I thought."

She said coughing, and while holding Orano's hand to get up,

"It is *cough* *cough* No problem. Our real problem is, what is going to happen now. We picked a fight with the boss after all."

Just after she said that, the alarm went off and the announcement was heard,

"Attention all troops! Attention all troops! Orano Tatsumi and his accomplice have escaped from the dungeon! All troops who see them will report to headquarters, and the criminals will be caught as soon as possible! I repeat! All-"

Orano looked out the window and saw many Sniper Unit soldiers running towards the building. He then turned to Caitrin and said,

"From now on, we're Wanted Criminals. So we'll have to act carefully. But before that, we have to find a way out of here. Follow me."

Caitrin nodded and they started running through the corridors.
