On The Run

They both ran through every corridor and dodged any incoming attacks.

And after running for a couple of minutes, they finally reached the exit. 

But the exit was blocked by barricades and there were many soldiers. The announcement spread to a large number of people in a short time, so that led to the castle being surrounded.

Caitrin shouted nervously,

"What are we going to do? They blocked our way!"

Orano said while searching for something in his bag,

"I have an idea. Just keep running."

When they got closer, he pulled an explosive potion from his bag, shook it, and threw it towards the barricade.

The soldiers shouted,

"Explosives! Run!"

The barricades were shattered by the blast. However, no one was harmed by the timely withdrawal of the soldiers from the road and the road was opened as the soldiers were pulled out of the way.

Using this as an advantage, they jumped off a large piece of wood in front of them and landed on the road that had gone downhill.

After that, They then ran as fast as they could and left there.

Runo and Lydia, who were in other rooms of the castle at the time, finally heard the announcement,

"Attention all troops! Attention all troops! Orano Tatsumi and his accomplice have escaped from the dungeon! All troops who see them will report to headquarters, and the criminals will be caught as soon as possible! I repeat! All-"

They both gathered their stuff and got out of the castle as fast as they could.

At that time, Orano and Caitrin were running through the streets and jumping over obstacles.

While they were running, they looked behind them and saw soldiers approaching them.

Caitrin then asked while trying to speed up,

"Where are we going? We have to find a way to get out of here or we will be in big trouble!"

He knew they had to do something too, but even though he looked around many times, he saw nothing. He felt like changing his plan but a few seconds later, he saw the ship leaving the port and turned to Caitrin and said,

"We have to use that leaving ship. That way we will at least leave here and get away from them."

But as he came up with that plan, Lydia and Runo finally caught up to them.

And right after that, Runo threw his sword at the rope of one of the weights that were hanging on the sides of the street and tried to drop it on them. But they jumped over that too.

Caitrin said with a scared expression,

"That was close."

Runo then ran, jumped towards his sword that was on the wall, grabbed it, and started to run again. 

They were getting closer by the second, and Runo finally shouted at them,

"Stand where you are! What you did to the Earl is an unforgettable crime! You will be punished for what you have done! Stop where you are and surrender!"

Caitrin then once again looked at Orano nervously and asked,

"They are getting closer! We have to do something about them!"

"We will lose them! We have to run just a little longer! Just a little-"

When he was about to finish his words, someone jumped from the street on their left side. 

He was upside down and he was jumping towards the right side. He came eye-to-eye with Orano as he flew to the right.

He was a red-eyed boy with white short hair and had a red-black card in his mouth and a sword in his hand. He was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants. He looked like he was almost six feet and looked like he was eighteen or nineteen years old.

They looked at each other like time had stopped. But after a couple of seconds, after he landed, the shops on the left street exploded.

Even the soldiers looked at him with shock as they run.

And then Runo shouted and said,

"Squad Two! Follow me! We're catching that criminal now! We can't let another criminal get away!"

He then turned to Lydia and said,

"Take squad one and catch these two criminals. I will come back with reinforcements when I catch that criminal."

Lydia nodded and continued to chase them and didn't let them get away.

On the other hand, Runo turned to the right with his soldiers from the next street and went after the other criminal.

And after running for streets, they finally reached the port entrance. There were two ships at that time and one was setting off.

And when they entered and ran towards the ship, something unexpected happened. 

Lydia cut the rope of the weight that was hanging above the road and closed her own soldier's path. 

She then shouted and said,

"Sorry for doing this, but I will do this alone! You guys turn around and help Runo!" and continued to chase them.

The soldiers were very confused. They didn't know why she made such a move and suddenly gave such an order. But still, they shouted,

"Yes, Ma'am!"

And they left there to follow Runo.

Now Lydia was all alone, but she kept running towards them and got faster by the second.

Caitrin looked back and said loudly,

"First she stopped her own soldiers, and now she's coming after us? What is she planning to do?"

Her behavior also bothered Orano too. From the very beginning, he couldn't get out of his head that she was acting differently to him.

He then said to himself as he ran,

*She really does have something on her mind. We must lose her right here, right now.*

He then turned to Caitrin and said,

"Don't mind her! Let's just catch up to the ship for now!"

"Okay!" Caitrin replied as she followed him.

After their conversation, they ran faster and tried to catch the ship. And when they got close enough, Caitrin held the fishnets that were hanging from the moving ship and started climbing. 

Then Orano supported her and got on the board too.

The ship had almost left port, and it was now very difficult for Lydia to catch up with them.

But when the ship was going to get away, she shouted,

"Mr. Tatsumi! Take me with you too!"

They both looked at her confused. It was very confusing for her to say something like that out of nowhere and at a moment like that. 

As they both didn't know what to do, she shouted once more,

"I know what I've done to you before, and I know you don't trust me. But I can't make it up to you now. If you give me time to explain, I will tell you everything you want to know. All I'm asking for now is you to just trust me."

She then looked deep into their eyes and said,

"Please trust me for now!"

Orano and Caitrin both looked at each other confused searching for an answer on what to do. But while they were thinking about what to do, Lydia was increasingly having trouble running. They had to make an urgent decision before the ship left there.

And just as Lydia had given up on hope, Orano held out his hand towards her and said,

"Hurry up! We don't have much time before the ship leaves!"

She saw that and her expression turned into a very surprised one. She didn't expect that from him. 

But she didn't have the time to think about that. So she immediately started running towards him. She then jumped from the edge of the port, hold his hand in the air, and climbed to the ship.

And after all of them got on board, they finally set off.
