Chapter 136:

Lecherous Desires

The Ruby Oracle

As I felt the basketball shorts around my waist beginning to tighten on their own accord, my body trembled excitedly. Much like holding onto a spell, I found myself struggling to control the building sensation that pulsed through me. It settled between my legs, swelling with each beat of my accelerating heart, all the while, Aesandoral's hands continued to move at a tormentingly slow pace down my thighs.

The smell of her body intoxicated me. It was a warm scent that wafted from her very being, like a mixture of vanilla and cinnamon, teasing at my nostrils just as much as her fingers did the fabric of my shorts. My lustful hunger fought to take control of me. To grab onto Aesandoral's hands and move them towards where I desired for her to touch. But I fought the urge. Wrestled against the need to twist my head and kiss the lips of the girl who teased my inner ear with the tempting words that slowly became irresistible. And though I continued to fight, I knew I was slowly losing the battle. Knew that it wasn't long before I wouldn't be able to hold back from doing something that I knew I shouldn't. Knew I couldn't.

Abort!  My thoughts screamed at me as I slid my hips back into hers ever so slightly, contradicting my own thoughts. No, take the punishment—NO! Abort!

“Whoa—haha!” I finally snapped free of my lecherous lock, squirming and wiggling my body out of the precarious position I had allowed myself to endure for too long. "Okayyy, enough of that."

I hate this. I continued to struggle, combating the wants and needs of that moment. I hate this so much. It was feeling so nice. Her hands, her smell. I want to fu—No! Contractually, I can’t or else Phyllis would punish me in some way or another. Plus, is that really a good idea? I mean, Sharzin's also right there, and the last thing I needed was to be the Yogo Bono of this band of girls. I can't risk it. Not now. Not with Ri—

“Hey, so, okay, that’s all said and good," I continued, clearing my throat as I scooted away from both girls before taking hold of a pillow and thrusting it into my lap. "But that leaves a single question. What’s going on with Ri?”

“She, just—umm, well,” Aesandoral responded, glancing between my flustered face and the pillow in my lap as she attempted to find the right words. “Oh, well, let me start by explaining that what happened, all the blood stuff, was not your fault. Mama Blair let us know when we got home that it could happen after consuming the Singlemoon Draught. The full moon had risen, and instead of turning into a weretiger, that happened. Something about purging the excess blood.”

“Explosive exsanguination followed by unconsciousness?!" I coughed with a disbelieving shake of my head. "That’s a hell of a side effect! They really should put that on the bottle somewhere. Like, honestly, at least let people know to 'speak with a doctor before using Lycanthris if you're anemic or on blood thinners. Lycanthris isn't for everyone.' You know?"

After doing my best pharmaceutical drug advertisement voice, I looked over at my companions, who stared back at me strangely. For a brief moment, my heart skipped a beat as I feared they would ask questions about what I meant. That was when Sharzin adjusted her seat and squinted my way.

"Is that something from your world?"

"I-I—" Instinctively freezing for a moment, I suddenly realized that I didn't need to be secretive anymore. "Yeah, it's a drug advertisement. Well, not an actual drug, but I was making fun of—you know, it's complicated to explain. Back to the topic at hand. So, if I didn’t kill her…is there any reason in particular she is upset with me?”

The pair of confused girls looked at each other before delivering similar shrugs. Then, as Sharzin adjusted her position on the bed and began to collect the scattered diamonds, Aesandoral sat closer to me once again. As she began to explain what I had missed in the last few weeks, her delicious smell sent my heart racing. And while I maintained eye contact with her, I struggled to pay attention as I fought the good fight against the lecherous thoughts that vied for power.

"You see, Iz," She explained softly, placing her hands to her lap and anxiously fiddling with her fingers. "The thing is, the whole Fliant stuff really messed with all of us. Rionriv even more so. That sabre thing really screwed with her, and then there's the fact that she still thinks she killed a family member or something."

"I'm sorry, what?" I replied quickly, my head tilting a full ninety degrees. "What's this now?"

Well, this is the first time I'm hearing this...

"Yeah, she killed a white fox guy in Komant clothes with sapphire eyes." Aesandoral continued, reaching up to nervously rub at the nick from her ear. "It's where she learned that reversal spell thingy."

"Wait, she thinks she had a Komant cousin or something?"

"She doesn't really know, but she's been spending a lot of time in her room reading ever since we got back. Mama provided lots of books about Rionriv's original home and stuff. She's been absolutely obsessing."

"Okay, so, fair. I get that. But what does that have to do with me?"

"I-I don't—"

"She blames you for everything." Sharzin blurted out as she finished collecting the diamonds and tossed me the remaining sack of gems in my face. "Like, everything."

"Blames m—ouufff!" I grumbled, taking a bag of diamonds to the face. "Blames me? For killing her Komant cousin? How does that make sense?"

"I don't know," The rogue shrugged as she admired her haul of gemstones. "Just repeating what I heard her crying into her pillow after I had snuck in."

With that, my heart broke. The thought of Rionriv blaming me for something I couldn't control tore away at my heart and made me want to break down her door to be with her. Glancing at Sharzin and then Aesandoral, my gaze locked on the threshold that marked my exit to the rest of the house. The girls caught sight of my wild glance, and before I could make my move, the archer had already leapt from the bed and stood guard, blocking my path.

"Iz," The elf growled. "Wait."

Freezing, I eyed Aesandoral once again, my eyes locking on the way her breast pressed against the sheer fabric of her top, leaving very little to the imagination of what lay beneath. Her offset legs, ready to engage with me, revealed the full extent of her long, bare limbs. There was only a light fabric, no more than boyshort bottoms, that concealed her waist beneath the leather straps of her skirt, which barely hung midway down her thigh. The sight of her barely clothed body alone caused my knees to become weak and question whether I wanted to leave the room at all.

With a glance back at the bed as the lecherous thoughts consumed my mind, I saw Sharzin standing atop the mattress. She was currently holding one of her diamonds towards a beam of sunlight, admiring the way it glittered and cast its starry light across the room. As she did, the oversized shirt she wore as her pyjamas was pulled tight. It clung over her body, stopping just shy of the knees and exposing the outline of the cheeky panties she wore beneath. At this second sight, my heart raced as a mixture of emotions flooded my body.

At first, I cringed at the thought of being attracted to characters that were ultimately in a story I created. There was nothing worse than an author having lustful thoughts for his creations, like they were some rentable girlfriends. Thinly veiled fetishes were one thing in this jobless transmigration, but wanting to get freaky with them was another. But then my own lecherous mind won over, reminding me that I hadn't written them into the original story and seeing as they were simply a product of the world’s storytelling, was it really that wrong? I was stuck here after all.

This was my life now.

But that wasn't enough to stop the existential crises that were dragging me down like an undertow of Christian guilt. The next thing I felt was an uneasiness about being attracted to the triop of young women who weren't that far beyond the legal World Eighty-Two age. I was still technically thirty-five at heart after all. I mean, sure, I wasn't a Leo or someone in the Jepstine files, but it was still a fairly drastic age gap. But, yet again, my mind argued that Ishara was sixteen, or at least I thought, meaning that the age gap was narrower in this world than it would have been back where I came from. So checkmate there.

Finally, I wondered what a relationship between them and me would even look like. I couldn't possibly date one of the girls and work with all of them as though nothing was going on. From what I had picked up before the Fliant quest, all of them seemed to have at least some sort of interest in me. Except maybe Sharzin, she was a wild card—and now Rionriv hated my guts. So I guess Aesandoral was the only real opportunity I had left at a relationship. But even with that, I didn't want to tear their group apart. Awkward relationships could break up friendships, something I knew firsthand. Plus, fugging any of them, fugs me with Phyllis.

So, slapping my cheeks, I centred myself and ripped my vision away from Sharzin. I needed to cage the horny beast that ate away at me and get down to business. I needed to find Rionriv and apologize for something. Though I didn't yet know what that something really was.

“Which room is Ri’s?” I asked as I glanced between both of them, trying not to get distracted by their hotness. "I need to talk with her."

“It’s not a good idea,” Sharzin said from the bed, bouncing a little. “You know she’s going to electrocute you. Iz, you need a bed like this in your room. It would be fun.”

“That bed is bigger than my room!” I replied, her words searing into my mind.

It would be fun with her and— I winced, cutting off the thoughts. Why do you do this to me? Go away, dirty thoughts!

Turning back to Aesandoral, I held my arms out, ready to spar. It was now becoming more than finding Rionriv, but also escaping from an awkward encounter that I was slowly losing control of. I knew that if I didn't get out of the room soon, I might lose to the extreme perversion that had returned to me after regaining my memories.

“Aes," I spoke firmly. "Where is Rionriv? If you don't tell me, I will run through this house and open every door.”

“I don’t believe you would.” She got into a crouch, ready to stop me at all costs.

Gods, she's so hot. I just want to pin her against the door and—NO! Bad! Focus!

“My Fliant realm coma helped me remember everything about the old me, and I've done some pretty determined self-detrimental things in my past. I can be stubborn to a fault, amongst other things, Duchess.”

Aesandoral looked at me, meeting my focused gaze with her own, trying to read if I was lying or telling the truth. I waited, like a leopard preparing for the right moment to strike. The moment she blinked, I took my chance and lunged forward. Though my goal was not to spar with her, something that I knew I would lose, especially if she managed to pin me to the ground and mount me. At that point, I may have chosen to submit to her willingly. Instead, I charged, reaching my hands up under Aesandoral’s arms where I quickly wriggled my fingers and began to tickle her.

“AAAAAHHHHHH!” She screamed before collapsing to the ground as a pile of giggling, blushing beauty.

Oh fug, critical strike. I thought, standing there with my hands still extended where I had struck the archer.

Glancing down, I eyed the incapacitated Aesandoral, who trembled as she gripped her sides. Stunned and not quite knowing what to do, I glanced back at Sharzin, who stared down at her companion in as much surprise as I had. It was then that I watched as the rogue revealed a smile twisted by devilish intent, all the while raising her own fingers to join in. And though I would have loved to see where the tickle fight between the three of us could have led, I suddenly realized I didn’t have time for that.

Without a moment to waste, I took hold of my opportunity and rushed out of the room. Escaping into the hall that connected the various houses of the Thantossa estate, I tried to find the best and quickest route to Rionriv. Closing my eyes, I inhaled deeply, remembering what Aesandoral had taught me over the last two semesters about tracking. As I expanded my senses, removing my sight and magically enhancing my sense of smell, I searched for the one scent I knew above all else.

In a house filled with the strange odours of animal servants, pungent herbs, and damp wood, Rionriv’s would be the one I could easily recognize. So, knowing my time was likely limited before the tickle fight was over, I began running. Moving quickly past the unfamiliar scents of maids and the threatening smells of the butler, I filled the hall with 'hello's and 'excuse me's as I sprinted past as fast as I could manage in search of the faint metallic tang in the air.

Then I caught it, a strong scent of ozone. The smell of electricity as it arced from the sorceress. Rionriv was up the staircase before me. Charging up the steps without question, I rounded a corner and continued to follow past another as the scent became stronger. Finally reaching the source, I opened my eyes and looked at a fairly regular-looking door with a small name carved into it by a child, “Rionriv.”

"Ri, I—" I yelled out, swinging the door open.

What I saw within was a room decorated with frilly pinks and whites. Walls bloomed with flowers of different colours, and a beam of magical sunlight filled the space with the wonder and beauty of a hidden spring meadow. There, standing in front of a four-poster bed with lacy curtains, was a shocking Rionriv. Her long red hair, now a third of it electric blue, was draped over her shoulders, as sapphire eyes locked on me in disbelief, and her tiger tail stood at attention.

Oh shit... I instinctively thought, glancing down at the body of Rionriv. I'm in danger.

I had not only stumbled into Rionriv's room, but the princess had been in the middle of getting dressed and, as such, was currently half-naked. With her lacy pink panties already on, her breasts were exposed to the world, only mildly censored from my lecherous gaze by the red and blues of her hair that draped over the front of her beautiful, dark skin. I watched in equal parts pleasure and horror as the tigress's ears folded back and her lips parted angrily.

Before I could even say anything, she screamed out, following it up with an even louder thunderous clap. My body was thrust out of the room and into the hall, the door slamming behind me as I collided with the opposite wall.

And, as was the case most of the time, my world went dark.
