Debiru Stays with the Nekota Family (Part 2)

Debiru felt relieved. If he stayed with these people, he thought he might actually be able to manage this homestay.

In the Nekota family, everyone always ate breakfast and dinner together. Of course, Debiru was now part of the family as well.

Tonight's dinner was Mama's special hamburger steak.

Then something unbelievable happened.

"Eeeek! A cockroach!"

Mama panicked. A cockroach had landed right on Debiru's hamburger steak.

"Leave it to me, meow! I'll roll up a newspaper and smash it flat, meow!"

Tanimaki said as he frantically searched for a newspaper.

"Nooooo!"

Mama and Ruritel screamed.

Debiru, however, remained calm.

"Debiru Afterseason Go Home!"

The moment Debiru cast the spell, the cockroach—and the hamburger steak it had landed on—vanished and reappeared outside the house.

"Why am I outside too, meow?!"

For some reason, Tanimaki had been teleported outside as well.

Debiru couldn't even kill an insect. He had inherited that kindness from Kylie, the Demon King.

Dinner finally resumed.

"Debiru, pass me the meat, meow."

Tanimaki ordered him around as if he were the boss.

"No."

"What?! I'm your senpai, you know!"

"What's a senpai?"

The concept of a senpai didn't exist in the Republic of Meows.

The two immediately started wrestling. Naturally, Tanimaki was the one who started it.

"Knock it off, you two!"

Mama's thunderous voice brought them both back to their senses.
