The Faster One

The final person that arrived was Kono Ichikawa. 

He stood up after he landed and approached others,

Then as they walked through the battlefield, Rai grinned and said,

"So are we going to help them? I don't bother having a little fun actually."

Valdis grinned too and said,

"It doesn't matter how many enemies there are. We'll have to kill them all."

Kono then looked at the enemies and said,

"We're not here to get distracted easily. This is a very important battle, so stay focused and look for the enemy's weaknesses. Remember, if we fail, terrible things will happen."

They all said,

"Alright!"

And moved into the battlefield.

The battle continued at its final speed, and several more creature hunters had arrived on the battlefield. They were Chou Yu, Hiro Segyuu and Yonabi Tsukiko. And although they supported from behind and did not do much damage, they helped a lot in the war.

When they arrived and just as Caitrin was getting attacked, Chou Yu came running and kicked a dragon to save her.

Caitrin looked at the fallen dragon scared and said,

"That was very close!"

On the other hand, Hiro Segyuu did the same and arrived just in time to help Lydia defeating an enemy. He used his spell and sent dozens of ravens towards his enemies, making them get stunned. This way Lydia used the situation as an advantage and defeated the enemies in front of her. Then she thanked him and they both continued to fight.

But the real war was starting now.

After everyone arrived and fought for a couple of minutes, Nijimura Rai and Bionura Neo finally came across and stood there looking at each other.

Rai grinned and said,

"So you are one of those knuckleheads called an "Orwell"."

Neo bowed down his head, and said with a sneaky smile,

"It really breaks my heart that you say that. And we can talk without breaking the rules of respect, right?"

She pointed his head with her sword and said,

"I don't care how much your stupid feelings hurt. I'm here to clean up the mess you left at Faye, and I'm not leaving until I do."

"It's up to you. Then it's time for you to suffer like the others."

They both looked at each other, grinned, and jumped towards each other.

But even though they collided with each other, nothing happened to Bionura's arm. 

And when Rai saw that she said with a surprised expression,

"So nothing's happening even though I hit you with my swords?"

He smiled and replied,

"A hardening spell that serves to harden the human body. I've learned this for moments like this."

"Interesting."

After she said that she pulled her sword back and tried to hit him from the head, but he used his sphere spell and stopped her again.

Neo smiled and said,

"Like I said I learned these kinds of spells only fo-"

But before he could finish his words, she left her sword in the spell and kicked him in the head while turning into lighting. Then she took her sword back when it was about to fall and said with a smile,

"But you obviously haven't prepared yourself for moments like this. It's a shame."

Neo's expression turned into a more serious one. It was obvious that he was annoyed by her actions.

But he then smiled anyway and said,

"Then let the fight be as you wish."

"As I wish? You know you are a weird person, right?" Rai replied with a confused expression,

She then said to herself and added,

*He is definitely hiding something under that smile. But I still have to try one of my tactics anyway.*

After they stared at each other for a couple of seconds, Rai once more tried to attack her, but this time she got behind him and tried to hit him in the back of the head.

She was very close to hitting him until he suddenly turned around and hit her in the stomach. She got caught off guard and was slightly shocked that he managed to hit her. After the hit, she flew back a little and landed once more on the ground.

She looked at him while holding her stomach,

*He is really fast.*

Neo smiled and said,

"Maybe I can't understand the concept of fighting in a unique way, but I'm completely aware of the abilities that my body has. And I am not going hesitate a little about the usage of them."

*He is slowly becoming cocky. But I must admit that he has some secret talent or whatever. I must find a way to surpass his speed or even find an open spot that I can hit.*

They once again jumped and started fighting. And both tried to attack but kept blocking and trying to hit each other relentlessly. They kept pushing each other and every time they collided sparks flew around. 

They accelerated so fast that even normal people could barely see. They floated as if they were the wind and struck each other strong as steel. They didn't show any mercy to each other and tried to hit from any spot brutally. Both had a desire to win and a greedy desire for war.

They both wanted to win. And they both wanted it because just to show who was stronger.

And although they fought for a while, they could not catch each other's vulnerabilities, and Rai was increasingly having trouble attacking.

She said to herself as she attacked,

*He is not making any mistakes. What kind of creature he is?*

She then found an idea and added with a grin,

*Oh, I didn't use that in a while. Maybe this knucklehead will fall for that and I don't have any other choice than to try anyway, right?*

Rai then stood up still and said,

"Alright, then. Let's decide who is the faster one, shall we?"

Neo replied while still smiling,

"That would be a fantastic option for me."

As they started moving to attack each other once more, Rai approached like she did last time and waited for Neo to make a move.

Neo said to himself as he thought he got the advantage,

*So you are coming right away to me with a ton of open spots? This is fantastic.*

But right when he thought that, Rai got behind his back and tried to hit him like last time. Neo quickly turned behind and shouted,

"Not fast enough!"

But when he turned behind his back, she wasn't there.

He looked at the air shocked and said,

*Where is she?*

And when he turned once more to look, Rai stabbed him from the stomach and pushed the sword to his throat. Then she took the sword out and stabbed him from the neck. She then pushed the sword as hard she could as Neo struggled to keep her away from cutting him.

She then said with a grin,

"I heard your kind dies when your heads get cut off? That would be very interesting to try if you ask me."

She was getting deeper and deeper by the second. Neo had to do something. 

So he lifted his wings and got ready for using them.

Rai looked at his wings and said,

"Hey! What are you doing?"

But before she could get an answer, Neo used them and sent her way back by creating a very strong wind. Fortunately for her, Rai was able to take her sword and slowed herself down by sticking it in the ice.

After Neo escaped from her attack, his body quickly healed and only bloodstains had been left on his white tuxedo.

Neo used the little napkin that he had and wiped away the blood on his neck, 

Then he said,

"If I have to be honest, that was an attack I really didn't expect. It was faster and stronger than I thought."

Rai then said with a smug manner,

"If you can't block attacks like this, then I've overestimated you. I was very excited to use my other special attacks."

"Special attacks?"

"Special attacks, of course! What did you expect when you were fighting the fastest creature hunter in the world?"

Neo then got in a fighting position once more and said smiling,

"Then I would like to experience them too."

"Absolutely. After all, we are just getting started."
