Chapter 65:

The Stronger One

The Creature Hunter: Soul Of The Wind

(At That Time, Somewhere Else At The War)

It hadn't been long since Nijimura Rai and Bionura Neo's war began.

Now a lot of creature hunters were either pushing the creatures back or they were fighting an Orwell. And at that time, Valdis was wandering in the middle of the war and was calmly hunting some Vangelises.

Because he was so tired of hunting and killing creatures, he walked around with a bored expression and continued hunting creatures in front of him since he found someone to fight with.

He either swung his hand in a tired way or let his snake kill them.

He then looked around while still having the same expression on his face and said,

"Is there no one to entertain me? This thing is getting boring every second."

And as he was walking, a Draugolf started to circle beside him and targeted him. Valdis realized this and he slowly lifted his head and looked at the Draugolf. He wasn't that interested, but it was still better than killing a skeleton. So he slowly lifted his hand and pointed it towards the creature,

He then said,

"It's just a stray dog. It could have been a better opponent."

But right when he was about to use dark magic on it, somebody flew at a very high speed, hit the creature from its belly, and made it fly away far away.

At first, Valdis didn't understand what happened, he looked at his left and right. Then he saw Kono looking at him from the other side of the lake,

Then he shouted at Valdis,

"Valdis! I will take care of the creatures for now! You take care of him!"

He stared at him confused for a couple of seconds, then he looked at Achilles that was getting up in front of him.

He then grinned and shouted,

"Understood!"

And as Kono got away and Achilles stood up, Valdis looked at him with an evil grin and said,

"A worthy opponent at last. I hope you amuse me!"

Achilles looked at him with a very serious expression and said,

"I don't have any time to spend on you. Get away from my way or you will pay for the consequences."

"Consequences? I don't care about those kinds of things. The only thing that I care about is how powerful you are."

"I will deal with your friend first. So get out of my way."

"Then you have to move me yourself."

And as they looked at each other, Achilles moved at a speed that Valdis couldn't see and pierced through his chest with his arms. Valdis was caught off guard and now he was spitting blood. He slowly bowed down his head and stayed like that for a couple of seconds.

Achilles said,

"I told you to move." And thought he was dead.

But after that, he slowly tried to move his arm from his body and walk away from there.

But something very suspicious had happened to him.

Even though he tried many times to move his arm, it didn't move an inch. He pulled his arm again and again, but it still didn't move.

Then suddenly, Valdis's arm moved and held Achilles's arm. He then slowly lifted his head and looked at Achilles in the eyes.

Valdis grinned and said,

"This attack might have worked if I had a heart."

Valdis then held his throat and punched him in the face, making him fly way back. And then when he was still in the air, he held him by the leg, hit him twice on the ground,

And threw him in the air shouting, "Fly, birdie!"

Achilles floated in the air for a couple of seconds and tried to come to his senses. Then he opened his wings while he was about to fall again and stood in the air.

Valdis looked at him and said,

"Ooh? You have fancy wings there."

But before he could say anything else, Achilles flew towards him at full speed and hit him in the ice while holding him from the throat. Then he hit him on the ground a couple of times more and threw him away like he did.

Valdis slid on the ground for a couple of seconds, and lied on the ground for a short period of time.

Then as he got up, his body regenerated itself and every wound in his body healed. Valdis's ability to heal quickly had been a huge advantage for him in the battles that he had encountered. So he got up as nothing happened and continued to talk.

He crunched the bones in his neck and said,

"This hurt a little bit."

Then he added with a grin on his face,

"Now it's my turn."

He then jumped towards Achilles again and tried to hold him, but he defended himself and held his hands in the air. Now they were both pushing each other with all the power they had. And while Valdis looked at him with greedy eyes and a huge grin on his face, Achilles didn't change his expression once. He continued to look at Valdis with a serious expression and eyes.

Then Achilles said to himself,

*He has great power in him. Even if the vast majority of them come from black magic, his physical strength is too powerful to be underestimated.*

He then added,

*So it's time to eliminate one of them.*

As he said that, he held Valdis's hands strongly and started to twist his arms. And no matter how hard he tried to resist it, Valdis couldn't stop his arms from being turned.

He just looked at him still grinning slightly and a nervous expression and said,

"Hey! Don't try anything funny!"

But he didn't stop. Achilles now had gripped his arms and began to twist them harshly and quickly. After that, Valdis's arms had turned three hundred degrees and all of the bones in his arm broke at once.

He then yelled in pain and began to whine, bowing his head.

Achilles said,

"I will do worse if you continue to act arrogant."

"I-I...."

He lifted his head. And unsurprisingly he was still grinning,

He said,

"I'm just kidding. This didn't hurt at all."

Valdis then created a black spell from his back and his big snake appeared once more.

While Achilles looked at it and said,

"A surprise attack?"

Valdis ordered his snake and it quickly bit Achilles's chest. While he struggled with pain, he used his destruction power to destroy his dark spell, but unexpectedly, Valdis took back his spell, held him by the throat, and punched his face. Then he threw him in the air, used his dark spell again, and hit him on the ice floor by holding him with his snake.

But this time before taking his spell back, Achilles held Valdis's snake and pulled him towards himself. He tried to avoid this by canceling his spell halfway and tried to hit him. But Achilles crouched and escaped from his attack. Then he held his face in the air and looked at him with scary eyes.

Valdis said to himself as he struggled to let go of his hand,

*I attacked at the wrong time!*

After he concentrated his spell power on his hand, he added,

*Then I'll have to try something else!*
