Do You Like Me , Aoto?

"Hey Aoto! Do you like me?"

I froze.

What?

You must be wondering how I ended up in this situation. Let's start from the beginning.

During midterms, me and Sara got so close. Before, she used to do everything by herself — food, laundry. But now she wants me to help her, no matter how small the work is.

She said, "Hey, sharp this pencil."

We are still studying together even though midterms are already over.

Sara said, "What are you thinking? Sharp the pencil, idiot."

I sharpened the pencil and gave it to her, and after a few hours, I saw her sleeping.

I froze because we were studying in my room and she fell asleep in my bed!

What to do now? I tried to wake her up but she didn't wake up. I started watching her while she was sleeping and started admiring her like,

How can someone be this pretty? She is a girl every boy wants and unfortunately she is living with me. She is perfect, perfect.

And I was also thinking, "If almighty God used 100% of creation just to make her, then maybe I am just an electron of the 100%."

After that my eyes started watering because I wasn't able to sleep properly for a few days. And I went to the hallway and fell asleep on the sofa.

The next morning.

I opened my eyes and felt something so soft under my head. I thought that maybe Sara woke up earlier than me and put a pillow behind my neck.I was still tired so I decided to sleep more. I closed my eyes and heard a voice.

"You don't want to wake up, Aoto?"

I opened my eyes in shock and saw Sara watching me with a smile. Then I looked behind my neck and realized the soft thing I thought was a pillow was actually Sara's lap.

I panicked and got up and asked her, "Why was I sleeping in your lap?"

She said with a very sweet smile, "I saw you sleeping on the sofa and you seemed very uncomfortable, that's why I let you sleep in my lap."

I said, "Let me sleep? What do you mean?"

She said, "When I woke up and sat on the sofa, you came toward me while sliding and put your head in my lap."

I said, "No, I can't do this with anyone! Please tell me that you are lying."

She said, "Unfortunately, I am not, idiot!"

I started feeling so bad and I apologized to her and asked her to forgive me. I even said, "Please forgive me, I swear from now I won't even try to touch you."

She made an angry face and said while blushing, "What's wrong with you, idiot? I never told you to apologize and I really didn't mind that you slept on my lap even though I was feeling good that time."

I said, "You were feeling good?"

She blushed, went to make our breakfast and I still didn't understand what she meant.

At night.

We were studying together and she asked me why I was sleeping on the sofa today.I said, "Because you slept on my bed, that's why."

Then she said, "You could have woken me up but you didn't, and your bed is big enough that we both could sleep together."

I said, "Sleep together? What do you mean?"

She slapped my hand and told me to focus on academics. I ignored it and we continued studying.

At school.

The result got announced and Ikkun came to me and said, "Let's check our results."

We both went to check our result and I got shocked because:

1. Sara Tachibana 100/100

2. Ren Nakamura 99/100

3. Itsuki Kim 98/100

4. Aoto Kagawa 97/100

My scared face vanished and Ikkun was looking at me and said, "You didn't even touch the books, right Aoto?"

I explained to him that I joined a tuition class, that's why I scored this much.

Ikkun believed and said, "Sure buddy, we are friends for around 9 months still I can never believe."

I asked, "What do you mean?"

He said, "We are best friends, that's why I can never believe."

I smiled very weird at him and saw Sara was watching me with a pretty smile like she wanted me to score high.

At home.

She came to me and placed both her hands on my cheeks and asked, "Tell me, do you want anything, Aoto, as a reward cause you placed 4th rank?"

I said, "But you placed 1st rank, so I should give you a reward and you also helped me."She said, "If you don't mind then I want something from you."

I asked her with full confidence, "Sure go ahead, tell me what you want, I'll fulfill your wish."

She came closer to me and placed her head in my lap.

I panicked and asked, "Hey, what are you doin'?"

She said, "It's my reward, hehe."

I started blushing and she put my hand on her head and said, "Move your hands smoothly, okay idiot."

I was so nervous at that time and then Sara asked me, "Hey Aoto, do you like me?"

I froze, my hands started shaking, my eyes got big and my whole face turned red.

She again asked, "Aoto, do you like me?"

I said, "What? And it doesn't matter if I like you or not so don't ask silly questions."

She said, "That's not the answer to my question. Answer me in yes or no. Do you like me, Aoto?"
