The Writer, The Story, and The Afterword of Thoughts

Somewhere in the real world of Earth, somewhere in the Isle of Borneo, Sabah-

I dedicate this chapter to all my readers, both to those that I personally know and those that I don’t. It’s been a wild ride for me throughout this one month of contest, and truth be told, the storyline I had in mind vs what actually came out strayed from each other GREATLY, but still maintaining its core concept such as making Mako and Fyra journeying all this time to kill the Skull Clan emperor.

Admittedly, I’m not even sure if my story actually stayed true to the genre I wrote for. I was hoping to make a slice-of-life with a teaspoon of gun action on its side, but it seems it ended up the other way around (my bad). I honestly felt quite disappointed by this because I had a lot of your average ‘seemingly plotless but fun and random’ storyline in plan, but if there’s anything I learned from this contest, is that TIME MANAGEMENT is the key in fleshing out a good story, and admittedly, my time management kinda sucks.

Nevertheless, I still had a fun time writing for this contest. Though it’ll be cool if I could win this one and get my story adapted to a manga, it’ll still be cool if it didn’t. This contest exposed me a lot to a noob writer like me and I’ll be sure to apply whatever I’ve learned here in my upcoming and ongoing projects.

Most importantly though, The Devil, The Witch, and The Wicked World of Delirith was my FIRST piece of writing that surpassed 1k views. And all of this wouldn’t be made possible without YOUR support. As such, I would like to bow my head and express all of my gratitude:
