The League Waits

The night wind moved through the training camp.

At the edge of the forest, the League of Villains had gathered in the dark.

Juzo Honenuki and Ibara Shiozaki were tied up nearby. They had already lost the ability to resist, but neither of them looked afraid.

Dabi stood in front of them with blue flames flickering over his palm.

Himiko Toga crouched beside Ibara, staring at the girl's face with a bright, unsettling smile.

"Yuto Kanzaki is coming, right?" Toga asked. "He has to come. I want to see him."

Mr. Compress adjusted his mask. Twice kept pacing in place, muttering to himself. Kurogiri watched the forest in silence.

"He will come," Dabi said. "That kind of person always does."

"Because Stain acknowledged him?" Toga asked.

"Because he thinks he can save everyone." Dabi smiled coldly. "People like that are easy to pull into a trap."

Honenuki raised his head.

"If you are waiting for Kanzaki, then you made a mistake."

Dabi looked back at him.

"A mistake?"

"He will come," Honenuki said calmly. "But you will regret making him your target."

Ibara closed her eyes and prayed under her breath.

"Yuto-san will not abandon us."

Toga's smile widened. "That sounds so nice. I wonder how he'll react when he sees you two like this."

Kurogiri's yellow eyes narrowed.

"Do not grow careless. Muscular has not returned. Moonfish has not returned. Spinner and Magne have also gone silent."

Mr. Compress tilted his head.

"And the Nomu?"

"No response."

For a moment, the League fell quiet.

Dabi's expression darkened. "So he broke through all of them."

The answer came from the forest before anyone else could speak. Footsteps.

One step after another.

Then Yuto Kanzaki walked out of the trees with Class 1-A behind him.

His uniform was torn. His face was streaked with dust and blood. His breathing was heavy, but the three swords at his side were still steady.

Bakugo, Todoroki, Midoriya, Momo, Ochaco, Tsuyu, Mina, Kirishima, Tokoyami, and the others spread out behind him.

The moment they saw Honenuki and Ibara, Class 1-A's expressions hardened.

"You finally came," Dabi said.

"Yuto-kun!" Toga called, waving her knife. "You really came!"

Yuto's gaze moved from Honenuki to Ibara, then back to Dabi.

"Muscular is down. The Nomu is down. Moonfish, Spinner, and Magne are down too."

Dabi's flames burned brighter.

"So you ruined the League's plan."

"You chose the wrong camp."

Kurogiri's mist spread at his feet.

"Capture Yuto Kanzaki and withdraw. That is the priority."

Dabi stepped forward. "No. I will handle him."

Blue flames roared around him, lighting the forest in a cold, violent color.

"In Stain's name, I will defeat you here."

Yuto drew his swords.

Wado Ichimonji settled between his teeth. Sandai Kitetsu and Shusui came into his hands. Three Sword Style.

The air between Yuto and Dabi tightened.

Then both of them moved.
