Chapter 27:

2 VS 2๐Ÿ’ข๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ‘Š

HIKARU TO ONNA

> Yami Kage slowly stood back up, wiping his face. He let out a sinister laugh. "Is that it? That's all you've got? My turn."
> Suddenly, Yami Kage raised his hands, forcefully draining the energy right out of Yuki and Yukito. He fused their stolen energies together, creating a brand-new, corrupted power. The sudden drain left both Yuki and Yukito visibly weakened and exhausted.
> With a dark grin, Yami Kage channeled this newly mixed power straight into his own shadow. The shadow instantly came to life, morphing into an extra-powerful clone of its own. It stepped forward, ready to fight alongside him.
> "Now the playing field is even, isn't it?" Yami Kage mocked. "Me and my shadow versus you two brothers. This is going to be way more fun."
> Seeing the danger, Yukito turned to his brother. "Yuki, listen. We have to rely on the ribbon right now. But there's only one. Pass it to me, I'm going to duplicate it."
> Yukito used his abilities to create an exact copy of the ribbon for himself, while ensuring the original ribbon stayed securely tied to Yuki's leg.

> Right on cue, Yami Kage and his shadow launched a coordinated attack from two different sides. Yukito rushed forward, using his copied ribbon to hold off the strikes. Realizing how troublesome the ribbons were, Yami Kage decided to get rid of them.
> The shadow went after Yuki, lunging at him with a brutal attack, while Yami Kage personally targeted Yukito. With a swift movement, Yami Kage slashed right through the ribbon in Yukito's hands, deeply cutting him in the process. Blood began to pour from Yukito's hands, and the pain sent him collapsing straight to the ground.
> "Yukito!" Yuki cried out, rushing to his brother's side. He immediately pulled Yukito onto his lap.
> Acting purely on instinct, Yuki untied the original ribbon from his own leg and wrapped it tightly around Yukito's bleeding hands. As soon as the fabric touched the skin, a glow appeared. The bleeding stopped instantly. The deep cuts began to close, healing completely within seconds.
> Yuki stared in awe, finally realizing the true nature of the ribbonโ€”it was a powerful healing relic.
> Seeing his brother safe, an intense, terrifying rage took over Yuki. He stood up, his eyes burning with fury. Beside him, Yukito stood up too, holding the   original ribbon safely in his hand.
> Without warning, Yuki charged forward and threw a massive, devastating punch at Yami Kage and his shadow. The sheer force of the impact completely obliterated the shadow, turning it into dust.
> "A fake is always a fake," Yuki growled, glaring down at his opponent. "Real is real."
> Yami Kage stumbled back, clutching his head in absolute agony as the shockwave of the attack rattled his brain.

On the other hand ,

> Kenji was lying on the ground, completely knocked out. He couldn't move or help at all. Meanwhile, the others were in the middle of a brutal battle against Akuryou.

> Suddenly, Tatsuya summoned a pack of fierce dragons. These dragons began breathing intense fire, burning down Ibara's sharp thorns over and over again. To stop the enemy, Yumeko stepped up and trapped Akuryou inside a powerful ability called the Pink Shell.

> This Pink Shell was a terrifying power. It forces you to face every single thing you hate or fear in life. It surrounds you with your worst nightmares, traumatizing you so badly that you become completely paralyzed.

> Looking at Akuryou, it was obvious the power was working. He was twisting and turning in pure agony. His worst memories and the things he hated the most were hitting him like physical blows. It felt like a flashback to his dark past. The very people from his life had turned into his worst nightmares.

> Akuryou looked deeply traumatized. He started talking to himself, crying out, "Don't leave me behind... I want to stay with you guys too!" Yumeko and the others could hear him, but they couldn't

> understand what he truly meant or who he was talking to.

> But then, the atmosphere completely changed.

> Akuryou let out a roar so loud and powerful that it felt like the very foundation of the mountain was shaking beneath them. He began to laughโ€”a dark, chilling laugh that sent shivers down their spines.

> "You made me remember my past," Akuryou whispered, his eyes locking onto Yumeko. "Now, I am going to crush your very soul with pain."

> Without even touching her, Akuryou used his powers to attack Yumeko's heart directly from the outside. He grabbed and squeezed the blood vessels leading to her heart using invisible force. Yumeko gasped, clutching her chest. She felt like her blood couldn't flow anymore. Instead of life, it felt as if pure, burning poison was pumping through her veins.

> Masaru and Kazuya instantly combined their powers to create a specialized chemical compound. Without wasting a single second, Masaru absorbed the mixture, converting it into a brand-new form of raw energy, and launched a direct attack straight at Akuryou.

> The explosive blast caught Akuryou off guard, distracting him just long enough to break his grip on Yumeko, saving her life. She collapsed to the ground, gasping for air as the poisonous feeling in her veins finally began to fade.

> Meanwhile, the battlefield was pure chaos. Tatsuya and his two remaining dragons were locked in a fierce, fiery clash with Ibara, keeping the thorned menace at bay.

> Nearby, Tokoro was desperately trying to wake Kenji up. He grabbed Kenji by the shoulders, shaking him violently.

> "Kenji!! Wake up! This is no time to sleep!!!" Tokoro yelled, his voice cracking under the pressure. "Kenji!! Kenji!! Can you hear me?!"

> Suddenly, Kenji's eyes snapped open. He looked up at Tokoro and muttered, "Huh... you guys finally made it."

> Kenji was awake, but Tokoro couldn't even feel

> Suddenly, Kenji's eyes snapped open. He looked up at Tokoro and muttered, "Huh... you guys finally made it."

> Kenji was awake, but Tokoro couldn't even feel relieved. Instead, absolute terror was written all over Tokoro's face. He looked around the battlefield, sweating cold. Kenji was back, but the stakes had completely changed. The entire tide of the game had turned upside down, and they were running out of time.
