Chapter 9:
The director of the magic school is the new student, Susie Liam
The summit of a lush, isolated island floating in the vast ocean.
The magnificent structure stands tall, overlooking a sea of pure white clouds stretching out below.
Numerous spires rose into the sky, their tips adorned with sculptures of gods, making every detail a first-class work of art.
The students referred to it with awe as "the palace."
A magnificent Baroque exterior reminiscent of Versailles. Splendid golden decorations gleam in the morning sun, and elegant rooftop gardens overflowing with seasonal flowers.
The palace had a five-story structure. The first floor housed the grand hall and the rooms for new students, the second floor for second-year students, the third floor for third-year students, and the fourth floor contained classrooms and teachers' rooms. On the top floor, the fifth floor, there were special rooms and secret rooms that were strictly forbidden to enter.
Contrary to its imposing and classic exterior, stepping inside reveals a modern comfort infused with the latest magical engineering.
The antique candlesticks hanging on the pure white wall automatically adjust the room's lighting according to the number of people and their preferences, thanks to magical power.
The aroma of bergamot and lemon oils wafted in from the garden in front of them. If the students' stress levels were detected, lavender and lemongrass were added.
Faintly glowing teleportation circles form geometric patterns in the marble corridor. Standing before the full-length mirror in the corridor, the mirror's surface ripples, instantly granting access to all wisdom from around the world.
It was truly a paradise on a remote island, where the finest aesthetic sense and cutting-edge magical infrastructure merged.
