Chapter 11:

The Battle for Private Rooms Begins

The director of the magic school is the new student, Susie Liam

Some of them are of royal blood, and others are the children of famous soccer players. The vast majority have never lived without servants since birth.

"This is the worst... what is this place?"

"I want to go home now."

The frustrations of these young, selfish people had reached their breaking point.

One morning, Principal Survival gathered the new students and made a declaration in a resonant voice.

"Today we'll be assigning rooms to the new students and deciding on their roles."

Amidst the growing murmurs, the principal smiled and explained the rules.

"The winner is the one who finds the 'Magic Album' hidden somewhere in this palace. The first one to find it will be given the best room."

Applause erupted all at once. They had been waiting for a breakthrough in this miserable life.

All areas except the second and third floors, which are the living spaces of the upperclassmen, are explorable.

"Just one book...?"

"Where should we go...? I definitely want the biggest room!"

"I'll find it even if it kills me!!"

At that command, the freshmen rushed out in a frenzy. In order to get the best private room they could find, they began searching the palace without regard for appearances.

From the vast, cavernous library, to the magnificent dining hall bathed in sunlight streaming through its glass ceiling, to the seaside veranda offering a panoramic view of dolphins and orcas leaping in the water, and even to the space beneath the floor of the hall where we had just been sleeping—everyone was breathing heavily and their eyes were bloodshot.
