Chapter 38:

White Magic and Black Magic

The director of the magic school is the new student, Susie Liam

Adam's words come back to me.

"White magic saves people, black magic defiles them."

I reflected on what Adam had taught me. The basic energy of white magic is to bring prosperity, salvation, and assistance to people. The basic energy of black magic is to hate, resent, and belittle people.

Black magic can easily unite people, instantly boiling over with the pressure of anger, and is powerful.

However, while black magic may be powerful in the short term, it will eventually come back to haunt you, leading to your own downfall and ruin...

What wizard would want to suffer such a fate?

I will not allow anyone to turn my classmates into agents of evil, nor will I allow the world to be corrupted by black magic.

We cannot let the students get involved with the Demon Lord who is walking the path to ruin.

"...I won't lose."

Even without Adam, I don't understand what survival is all about.

Susie looked down at the sea bathed in the setting sun from the window of the chairman's office.

Now I possess the ability to be the top student in my grade, and I have acquired the dignified demeanor befitting the chairperson of the board.

It's different from before.

Above all, I won't listen to anything those people say who are hiding my brother in such a state.

Just because I'm a freshman doesn't mean I'm powerless. I've renewed my resolve to work together with Zion and the others, quietly but surely, to increase the number of white magic practitioners.
