A Dream

Chapter 1

She wakes up from her long sleep. She stretches both of her hands while she was lying down on her bed.

Natsumi wakes up from her sleep her eyes were closed at that time.

She said this :"That was a nice sleep"

She opens her eyes. She looks around her and she saw that there is smoke everywhere. She saw that there is no wall around here. She realize that this place isn't her home. It isn't her room. Cause she would never have this much smoke all around her room and also get room isn't that spacy. She realizes that the bed she was sleeping in isn't here rather the place she was in sleeping was the ground. She was sleeping on top of a rock paved road. Though her blanket was there with her. 

She removes the blanket and stands up from that place. The place she was standing had so many smokes all around as if it is mists. No ray of light from the sun was found on that place. That place was totally dark. She couldn't see anything clearly. This made her scared, puzzled, anxious.

Natsumi thought to herself [Where am I? Where is my home? I am sure that I was sleeping at my bed in my room]

She starts to search around for people. She walks and walks. She searches and searches. But she wasn't able to find anybody. No people was around her. She was all alone in that empty space.

Natsumi thought to herself [Am I alone in this place?! I can't even see the sun because of all the smoke. Or is it still nighttime?]

Suddenly right after she thought that she saw a person, far away, holding a torch in her hand and coming towards her direction. She didn't asks anything from her (the person with the torch). She didn't do move. She was still scared, puzzled. She was also a bit suspicious of that person. 

The person with a torch on her hand shouts saying this :"Is there anybody in here?"

Natsumi hears her question. She replies to her immediately like this :"I am here"

The woman looks around with the help if the torch and saw her. She starts walk towards her direction. Natsumi was able to see her after she came close to her. She was a middle aged women. She was wearing a dark raincoat. She had a very long scarlet hair. Her hair color was almost identical to the hair color of Natsumi. The old woman's clothes were covered in dust. She was all skinny. Natsumi was able to see her bones and count them one by one. She looked like as if she didn't eat anything for years.

She looks at her (Natsumi) and she said this to her (Natsumi) like this :"So you are the one"

Natsumi thought to herself after hearing that [What one? It's not important right now. More importantly I should better ask her about this place.]

She asks her (That women) like this : "Where am I? Who are you? And how did I up end up in here?"

That woman didn't reply to her questions rather she (That woman) makes a pale face. 

She asks her like this :"You want to get out right?"

Natsumi replies to her affirmatively like this :"Yes"

That woman replies to her (Natsumi) like this :"Then follow me"

She starts walking without uttering another words to her (Natsumi). She wasn't sure if she should follow her but seeing her not even looking back, Natsumi starts to follows her. Though this makes her more suspicious and careful around that woman.

Natsumi was walking behind her (That women) and as she look at that that women she thought to herself [She is suspicious.] 

It's natural to think that since that women was really suspicious and didn't answer any of her question.

Natsumi asks that women while walking behind her like this :"Who are you?"

That woman did not reply to her question and continues walking

Natsumi asks her again but with a different question like this :"Where are we?"

That woman still does not reply to her question rather she remained silent and continued to walk. As if she is a deaf

Natsumi asks her one more time but with a different question like this :"Is this mist or smoke?"

That woman replies to her this time even though she didn't reply to her questions like this :"Don't worry, nothing will happen to you. Just follow me"

She had a annoyed expression on her face. Natsumi realizes that the woman wasn't happy with her asking questions and it was a pain to that woman. Natsumi didn't thought the same way like that woman. Rather if Natsumi thought if someone should he annoyed and irritated it should be herself. Since she came in this weird place without her will.

She replies to her like this :"If something happens to me. My father will make you pay for it"

She tries to threaten her. But she was unfazed and didn't care. That woman didn't reply to her this time either. She just looked at her once more and starts to walk again

Natsumi thought to herself [Why isn't she answering any of my questions? Am I being kidnapped? Even if I am being kidnaped it seems like they didn't take my phone. I already opened my phone's location. So they can find me]

She founds her phone on the ground while searching around and took it inside her pajamas pocket. 

She gets a bit angry towards that women because of that kind of behavior. Though she still followed her (That women). After walking for sometimes they came in front of a door. Natsumi wasn't able to see it's surrounding because of the mists and darkness. That women stopped walking after coming in front of a door. Natsumi also stops walking with that women in front of that door. She wasn't able to see anything else beside the door. It was just mist around. She could neither see a wall or a brick other than the door

That woman replies to her like this :"You can go to your home from this door"

Natsumi asks her to be sure like this :"Will I really go home after I go through this door?"

That woman replies to her like this :"I guarantee you"

Natsumi asks her like this :"Are you helping me because you need something?" 

She asked her that cause she thought that she is being kidnapped and that women is helping her to escape.

The woman looked surprised. Natsumi didn't have a clue about why that woman was surprised.

That women replies to her like this :"Yes, I needed something."

Natsumi asks her (That women) about that like this :"What is it?"

That woman replies to her question like this :"I don't need it anymore."

Natsumi was confused. She didn't have a clue about what that woman was talking about. Though she understands what that woman is saying.

She asks that woman like this :"So does that mean you don't need anything?"

That woman hides her face. Natsumi didn't have a clue why she is like that. 

She thought to herself [Is she embarrassed?]

That woman replies to her like this :"Just fulfill my wish, then."

Natsumi asks her like this :"What's your wish?" Since she didn't know what her wish was.

That woman starts walking as she fades into the mists in that place. She couldn't even see her. Where she (That women) leaved. But she didn't care about that because she was suspicious from the beginning.

She also thought to herself [She must have been a crazy people if she leaved me without even telling her wish] 

Without further thinking she opens the door and go within it. Right after she went through that door everything turns into completely blank. Everything turns into completely white. She steps once and fall inside something. She wasn't able to hit the bottom of it. Because she heard her alarm bell ringing.

Natsumi wakes up again and opens both of her eyes. She realize that it was all nothing but just a dream she had. 

She thought to herself [It was just a dream. What a weird dream I had! That dream even made me a bit scared. So what was that dream again?] 

She forgot what happened on that dream. But her heart beat was fast.

She looks at the clock while she was lying down on her bed. It was eight and 30 am in the clock.

Natsumi thought to herself [Only 8:30 am. I should go to sleep again then]

It was still too early for her school. She closes her eyes and puts the blanket all over her and also above her head. She went to sleep again. She slept for about a hour. After sleeping for a hour. The sun's light comes out from a corner beneath the curtain from the windows to her eyes. Because of that she wakes up.

Natsumi asks with sleepy voice like this :"Where is the light coming from?"

She gets up from the bed and finds out that the light was coming through the small corner of the curtain from the sun. She looks at the clock. It was at 9 and 30 now.

Natsumi shouts like this:"Ahh!!!! it's 9:30 am already! I don't have enough time to get to school!"

She stands up from the bed. She rushes to get ready. She packs her bag by putting all the books and handbook she needed to go to her class. She brushes her teeth. She wear the uniform of her school. She was both brushing her teeth while wearing her uniform. After she wore her uniform and finished brushing her teeth she comes out from her room. She goes down floor by going through the stairs and takes her home packed meal in her bag. Her mother saw that from the kitchen. She was surprised by seeing that she (Natsumi) was still in her home though she was supposed to go to her school by now.

Her mother asks her like this :"Natsumi, didn't you go to school already?"

Natsumi replies to her mother like this :"I didn't. You should have woken me up"

Her mother enters the living room and replies to her like this :"I just came from my night shift."

Natsumi replies to her mother like this :"I'm off"

Natsumi after saying that she leaves her home running in a rush without even eating her breakfast.

Her mother asks her like this :"Did you take your homework?"

She couldn't hear any reply from her (Natsumi) so she looks again and finds out that Natsumi has already left home. Her mother after finishing cleaning the dishes she went upstairs. She goes to Natsumi's room. She saw her homework note on top of her table.

Her mother seeing that her mother said this :"She didn't take her notebook. Even though I told her. She will get punished in the school for this. It's her fault since she didn't go to school early."

She runs and run. She took a metro rail and goes to the station and after arriving at the station she gets off the metro rail and starts to run from there. She starts running towards her school. Because she was running and running she was also starting to sweat.

While she was running many people saw her running. One of them whom was wearing red shirts over a yellow t-shirt said this to her like this :"Are you ok running and sweating like that?"

She didn't reply to him rather keep running. Because she doesn't have a minute to waste or else she will be late for school.

One elderly woman was riding was riding a bike. She was wearing a helmet and red t-shirt. She said this to her like this :"You are from the high school nearby, Right? Do you want a ride to the School?"

Natsumi was out of breath because she ran and ran. She replies to her while breathing heavily like this :"I will be very ..." She stops running and puts both of her hands on both of her knees. She continues her reply to her like this :"Grateful if you could!"

Elderly woman stops her bike and replies to her like this :"Sit!"

She sits on the bike. Elderly woman starts the bike with high acceleration.

She said this :"Hold on tight or else you will fall." 

She replies to her like this :"Yes!"

She holds on the elderly woman. After riding the bike for just 2 minutes she arrives at her school. She gets off the bike.

She expressed her gratitude toward that elderly woman while bowing to her like this :"Thank you very much for letting me ride the bike."

Elderly woman replies to her like this :"You are welcome!" She leaves with her bike then.

She looks at her school. As soon as she looks at the school, the bell rings.

Natsumi said this after hearing the school bell rings like this :"Wait, time! I can't run anymore"

5 days left before she will die
