Chapter 10:

Official Debut of Magic Bullet

While Having Cheats And Bonus In My New Life At Fantasy World, As A Closet Otaku, I Will Be Living The Way I Want

Raising my right automatic revolver currently loaded with 3 pieces of wind element-coated .45 ACP bullets in the chamber, I took aim at the wooden target with a back stopper of hardened clay that'll catch the bullet. "Leen, this is one of my personal spells I created. I call it [Wind Bullet, Level 1]."

[Wind Bullet, Level 1] was something I came up on the whim based on the knowledge I have of the bullets while combining the 'sharpness' and 'speed' properties of wind element. It's the same one I used for testing my revolver. For this, level 1 version, the 45 ACP I created with my ability coated with wind, was based on the 45 ACP bullet I used for long time. I could have gone with 9mm like the rest of the guys from my past life I worked with and met similar to the one time I did with one of my revolvers at the range and battlefield but for this world, after experimenting with non-coated and coated bullets, I'll go with 45 ACP because it was battle-tested in my former world and one of my preferred 'to-go rounds' in missions. The level 2 version, however, was way different.

"Wow." Commented Leen who was behind me at safe distance with others. Before this, I instructed her not to get in the way or move beyond me in the name of safety.

"Wow, indeed, Leen." I smiled, still aware of my trigger finger away from trigger. "Now I am about to fire, so please, for your safety, don't move. Sasame, make sure no one goes beyond my firing range or get closer to me."

"As you wish, Caesar-sama." said Sasame.

"Excellent." Setting the safety off, in a position, without cocking the hammer since it's an automatic revolver, I pulled the trigger three times.

BANG

BANG

BANG

Watching all the magic bullets hitting the wooden target at the dead center, I maintained my sights at the mark I made with three magic bullets.

It's big but not that bigger than the wooden targets I used. How surprising since it's Balsa tree, one of the strongest trees in existence. For such 10.5″ by 12″ wooden target that used nonmagical tree material, it costed 45 copper coins, nothing to worry about for my family's wealth and expenses.

'Magic, you really surprise me.' Putting down my revolver at that thought and the hole, I spun it before making it disappear into nothingness. "All clear."

Turning my attention back to the observers, I noticed Sasame's usual calm expression replaced by shocked for a second when she looked at the hole made by three .45 ACP magic bullets.

"Something wrong, Sasame?" I asked Sasame.

"N-nothing wrong, Caesar-sama." replied Sasame.

"Okay then." I spoke, looking at her with concern. "If you need to talk to me, do so. I'm all ears."

"Will do, Caesar-sama."

Smiling at Sasame's reply as she went to Alessia and Rhea, I then looked at Leen who approaches me.

It's been like three weeks after we became friends. She's here for magic lesson and some view of combat practice. So far, she learned a lot from Yuna and my lovely personal maids in using a sword. The only thing she lacked were combat experience and practice.

"Caesar," said Leen. "Do you think I can make a scratch against that?"

"Sure, you can." I replied. "It takes lots of practice and training."

"Really?"

"Yes." Saying that, I gave Leen a headpat.

"Headpats from Caesar🎵 If it's Caesar, I won't mind more from him 🎵."

Chuckling a bit at her priceless blissful reaction, I continued. "Well then, may you continue to improve more for our success."

"I promise."

Glancing a bit, Suzu, Sophia, Anya, and Emma, smiled.

--

"Anya, you recall the weakness of lightning elemental, right?" I asked my elven not-blood related older sister, Anya, who was reading a bestiary. On the other library table, there's Leen, and Emma helped by Suzu and Sophia with Cara and Yuna watching over them.

"Yes, it's water." answered Anya, giving me a clear view of her lavender eyes and face. "Caesar, about those magical devices...what are they?"

"Revolver, automatic revolver."

"Revolver..." muttered Anya. "That sounds like an interesting word for an item."

"It sure is, Anya." I said, fondly remembering my past life late father showing his Colt Single Action Army to me and how revolvers impacted the world including firearms industry. "Those things are not for everyone."

"How so?"

At this, I sensed Suzu looking at me. Her brown eyes were telling me something.

'Suzu knows how dangerous these things are at first glance. Her observation is nothing to scuff at.' I thought, before replying to Anya. "Depending who holds it, it can be a criminal, it can be a savior. If the time is right, I'll tell you everything."

"I look forward it." said Anya as she suddenly hugged me. "For this promise, you owe me something."

"If it's reasonable, I'll fulfill it."

"Thank you, Caesar."

Letting go from her hug, I was given a view of Anya smiling at me. It was one of the brightest smiles I ever seen from her.

'I wonder what will that be?' Smiling back at Anya, I then heard Suzu calling me.

"Caesar, can you please come here quick?"

Doing so, within seconds, I went over and occupied one of the vacant seats.

"I'm here, Suzu." Facing Suzu, Sophia, and Leen, the three of them with Cara and Yuna, nodded at each other.

"Caesar, do you prefer long hair or short hair girls?"

'I think I know where this is going.' I thought, remembering the same question asked while taking note of their facial expressions including Anya who surprisingly arrived after me. She was right there behind me, her curious stare from her lavender eyes, I felt it there behind myself.

"Honestly, I like both." I answered. "If it suits the girl, yes."

After hearing my answer, Yuna had a knowing mischievous smile alongside Cara. "Girls, you hear that?

Surprisingly, out of nowhere, the maid trio appear with same smile.
