Chapter 8: The Void Realm..!

(On Earth, Akira tried calling Sawano.)
"Sawano(Voicemail): You've reached the sixth ring, please hang up and try again or I'm not at the phone right now. Cya."
"Akira: Dang it.. He's not picking up."
"Konnor: I see."
"Crystalline: He maybe must have forgotten about us."
"Ash: Knowing Sawano, it's impossible. He's a pretty good person and I know he wouldn't do that."
"Angel: Either way, I want him to come back."
(Angel walked in the office, seeing everyone present.)

"Konnor: Angel! Good to see you!"
"Angel: I guess. Everyone else might have forgotten about Sawano, but we didn't. We have to track him down."
"Akira: How are we going to do that? We don't know what happened to him or where he went after two years passed."
(Sumizaki ran into the High Commission's office, out of breath and anxious.)
"Sumizaki: We got trouble..!!"
"Angel: What's going on?"
(Akira and the High-Commission arrived at the scene where Sawano ate the rouge gang members alive.)
"Konnor: Oh my-"
"Crystalline: Quite foul..."
"Angel: Has anyone seen what happened? If so, please tell us accurate information."
(One of the scared civilians walked up and stood in front of the crowd.)

"Crystalline: You know what happened?"
"Shopkeeper: I don't know all of the details... but I heard screaming coming from this alley then when I sneaked to look, I saw one of the people in the alley being swallowed whole!"
(Akira gasped in disgust.)
"Angel: Anything else..?"
"Shopkeeper: Well.. Oh yes.. There was black lightning striking down in this exact same spot for more than five seconds then purple-ish colors was very bright I couldn't see what happened then next thing I know, it disappeared!"
"Angel: We appreciate the help."

(A while later back at the High-Commission's new room, Akira and the commission began thinking for what could have happened.)

"Ash: Three skulls, blood pile, tattered clothes, black lightning and purple-ish colors? If I was crazy, I'd say someone or some THING must have extraterrestrial powers besides ours."
"Konnor: If that's the case, then we'd have to put special forces out there to look for any suspicious activity."
"Akira(Thinking): Could it be possible Sawano did this..? No.. he couldn't have. He swore to me he'd never eat a human.."

-Meanwhile-

(Sawano looked around the dark dimension and comes across several different species.)
"Sawano: Where.. Even am I?"
(A crowd was forming as the queen was walking through the busy lots.)
"Guardian: Give the queen her space!"
(The guardians tries to back the crowd away from her then Sawano walks past them as the queen felt a chill up her spine. After so, she turned around.)
"Queen: You there!"
(Sawano stopped where he was but didn't turn around.)
"Sawano: ...?"
"Queen: You're not from this realm, what is your purpose being here?"
"Sawano: Who wants to know?"
"Queen: I am the ruler of the realm, also known as one of the strongest goddesses in history-"
"Sawano: Not interested, sorry."
"Queen: Huh?!"
(One of the guardians stands in front of Sawano.)
"Guardian 1: When in contact with the queen, you show the most of respect for the goddess of-"
(Sawano punches through the guardian's armor, burning him alive from the inside as the bystanders gasped and screamed as the guardian was rolling around in absolute pain and the queen was silent then pissed.)

"Queen: GET HIM!"
(The second guardian swings his axe at Sawano but he'd catch it with one hand.)
"Sawano: You're just pathetic."
(He'd smash the axe's blade into pieces.)
"Hear me. When facing an enemy in combat.
(Sawano broke off the guardian's armor one by one as he backed up in fear.)
"You mustn't bring a weapon that'll EASILY drop your guard."
(He rips off the chestplate as the guardian was cowering.)
"Because doing so, will bring your death to a maximum."
(Sawano senses a strong blast and quickly moves out the way as he avoids the fast-moving orb. The queen then stood there in stance as she's ready to blast more.)
"Queen: You're not going to kill him.. I WILL NOT LET YOU BRING HARM TO EITHER OF THEM!"
(The guardian is escorted to the infirmary as the fire inside him was gone.)
"Sawano: Don't even waste my time. I was forced here, I'm finding my way out."
(The queen sighed then stood down.)
"Queen: Fine, then I'll lead you."
(As Sawano and the queen walked to find a way out, they both remained silent the whole walk.)

"Sawano: Sawano."
"Queen: Huh..?"
"Sawano: My name is Sawano."
"Xiazress: Oh.. my name is.. Xiazress."
"Sawano: I see. So you're a goddess? Mind telling me where I am?"
"Xiazress: This is The Void Realm. Its not common for others from different realms and dimensions to end up here."
"Sawano: So, do you know a way out?"
"Xiazress: Not sure. I might be the queen of the realm but there are things even I don't know about."
"Sawano: Ah."
"Xiazress: Mind if I ask you a question?"
"Sawano: Which is?"
"Xiazress: Your power, your element. Its unlike anything I've seen, it looks just likes mines but only orange-ish."
"Sawano: I don't know, all I know is my element can only be given by certain individuals. But it burns way more hotter than the flames of hell."
"Xiazress: Is that so?"
"Sawano: Yes, what is your element?"

"Xiazress: I'm a Void elemental, well The Queen Of Void is a way I'd say it."
"Sawano: A Void elemental? You're familiar with Kuroto Gauze?"
"Xiazress: Sadly yes.. Kuroto was my closest to a friend. His death was very hard on me..."
"Sawano: I'm sorry. He was avenged in your honor."
"Xiazress: Huh..?"

"Sawano: Two years ago, Saikan Academy was under attack by The Order Of Encursed Elements. They nearly eradicated everyone but I had to hold back due to my injuries. But.. what happened to me, I avenged him for you and all of us."

"Xiazress: What do you mean by "what happened to me?"
"Sawano: I... have one of the most dangerous demons inside me, I don't know much about it but what I do know is whenever he takes control, I'm corrupted by rage and I thirst blood."
"Xiazress: I see.. So you're the spawn of Kirby Magachi. Am I correct?"
(He gasped and was silent.)
"Sawano: ...Yes.. you're right."
"Xiazress: Believe it or not, Kirby once saved my life when I was in my younger years."
"Sawano: Really?"
"Xiazress: Yes. Back then, Kirby Magachi was a good man. I never knew you was his son to tell the truth."
"Sawano: Oh. Well, no one knew. I never told anyone because they'd think I'm a monster.. Which they already have."
"Xiazress: I understand where you're coming from. Many people fear me as well, I do have power far beyond limitations of any other element. But, I too have one of those demons."
"Sawano: Oh?"
"Xiazress: My demon is "The Brute Of Darkness."
"Sawano: What's its power?"

"Xiazress: When in battle, it can boost my physical abilities and my elemental power."

"Sawano: Sounds interesting."
(His chest ached painfully as a loud pulse was heard and he stopped and fell on both knees.)

"Xiazress: Are you ok?!"
(He'd vomit a pile of black blood and later on passed out.)
"Xiazress: Sawano!? SAWANO!"
(A while later, he woke up from his unconsciousness in a room.)
"Sawano: Huh..?"
(A nurse sat by his side as she was analyzing his blood.)
"Nurse: Oh, you woke up. That's a good thing."
(Sawano sit up, his right arm remaining black.)
"Sawano: What happened to me..?"
"Nurse Kani: I'm Nurse Kani, you collapsed from a recoil that involved your powers."
"Sawano: Ah.. it happens.."
"Nurse Kani: But this is no ordinary recoil, apparently. You don't have a heart it seems but you're still walking around alive and kicking, how is that possible?"
"Sawano: I uh.. Had to get transplant. My doctors couldn't risk another heart and they couldn't find a donor. So they replaced it with an indestructible core inside my chest."

"Nurse: I see. Well, whoever your doctors were didn't enforce it with any barrier. Your core is slowly being eaten away by your beast inside your core. You see, whenever that beast's power is used it'll continue eating your core. In other words, it's going to evolve to its true form then later on consume you for its host forever. We won't know when but that's not the only problem, I took a sample of the black blood and analyzed it. Mister Sawano, you're transforming."

"Sawano: I understand and is aware. It's actually a curse, one that can never be removed."
"Nurse Kani: Actually, there is a way to stop the transforming process. The Void Realm is known for their uncanny uses when it comes to elements. To stop the process, you need to 
"Sawano: I see. So what happens then..?"
"Xiazress: It means you'll be staying at my palace until the nurse clears your conditions. Once said and done, I will take you home."
"Sawano: I see..."
(Sawano looked outside his window and thought of his sister again.)
"Where are you...? Okisaki..?"
