Chapter 20: Prison Break!!

(Meanwhile back in Hakodate, everyone continued to remain distance from one another as Dalton was seen walking around the city's busy street.)
"Dalton: Dang, why is it more crowded then it is today? Eh, doesn't matter. Hopefully Okisaki will enjoy these snacks I got her. What happened with her really did a number on her, she's not really herself.."
(He'd walk into the hospital and asked for directions to her room after signing in. After a little walk, he knocked on the door then entered to see Okisaki sitting up looking at the window.)
"Dalton: Hey!"
(She was startled a bit then looked at Dalton.)
"Okisaki: Oh.. h-hi..!"
"Dalton: Remember me? Its Dalton."
"Okisaki: Of course I do!"
"Dalton: How are you holding up?"
"Okisaki: I'm.. good!"
(She smiled.)
"Dalton: Ha! That's great to hear! Oh that's right, I brought you some snacks!"
(She grabbed a bag of chips and tried to open it.)

"Here let me help you!"
(Dalton opens it easily for her.)
"There ya go!"
"Okisaki: Thanks!"
"Dalton: Guess your arms aren't really healed yet huh?"
"Okisaki: Yeah, the doctors said they need to continue healing for a few more weeks."
"Dalton: At least you're going to be ok, that's the good news here."
(They laughed a bit until the current broadcast on the TV was interrupted.)
"News Anchorwomen: We interrupt this current broadcast for our top story tonight: Recently in Yamaguchi, the hunt for Sawano Magachi is over as the Elemental Federal Branch has successfully taken him into custody and is now holding him for questioning. We go live to the scene outside the Federal Branch's Headquarters."
"News Anchorman: Thank you, as you can see there are military and federal personnel everywhere as Sawano is currently being transferred inside the Detention Center. Not to mention there are riots happening across Japan and according to the chief of the Elemental Federal Branch, it is possible for all the countless crimes Sawano has committed will lead him to a possible execution. We will be updated with more information on this story, until then back to the station."
(Okisaki dropped her bag of chips and began to cry.)
"Dalton: Those.. BASTARDS...

(After the news was announced across the city, mobs was beginning to riot.)
"Kiri(Phone): SAWANO'S IN CUSTODY..?!"
"Dalton(Phone): Yes, what's worse is for all the saving he did he's going to be executed..!"
"Kiri(Phone): MEET ME AT THE SCHOOL, I'LL CALL WHOEVER I CAN!"
"Dalton(Phone): Got it!"
(He hang up and quickly left then pause to go back to Okisaki.)
"We'll get him back.. I swear it."
"Okisaki: Please.. Save him... I don't wanna lose him again..."
(He hugged her then left as Xiazress stormed out her palace and made a portal to Earth.)
"Clara: Lady Xiazress! What are you planning to do?!"
"Xiazress: Those clowns has my lover AND I'LL BE DAMNED IF I'M GONNA SIT AND LET MY SAWANO GET EXECUTED!"
"Geron: WAIT WHAT?! EXECUTED?!"
(Every fighter in Saikan Academy meets at the school auditorium with Chimon returning.)
"Chimon: Ok... this is WAY more unexpected than anything."
"Akira: YOU THINK?! THEY'RE GOING TO EXECUTE HIM BECAUSE OF HIS DEEDS OF SAVING US! THERE WERE CASUALTIES BUT THE THREATS ARE GONE!"

"Konnor: I have to agree with Akira, this is unacceptable. We need to stage a rescue attempt for Sawano or at least find someway to stop his execution!"
"Crystalline: We'll need to think of something, Chimon!"
"Chimon: I understand everyone's anger.. Listen, there's nothing we can do at this point.. I'm sorry to break it to you all, he technically still under this school's protection. Sawano is my student and I will take care of it. But... the Elemental Federal Branch has forbid me to even come into contact with Sawano in anyway, even if that means saving him.
"Oshikida: Chimon sir! I want to handle this!"
"Tsuka: No way! I will handle this, you two might be childhood friends but I'm the one who saved his life the first time he was about to die!"
"Oshikida: That may be true, but I know much more about him more than you! Sawano's already on the verge of death!"
(She quickly covered her mouth after revealing it.)
"Everyone: WHAT?!?"
"Akira: What are you talking about...?"
"Ash: On the verge of death?"
"Chimon: Oshikida, what is actually going on with him?"
(She sighed and began to tell.)
"Oshikida: To tell the truth, Sawano can die at any moment.
(Akari overhears and the others gasp.)

"His family cursed and tainted HellBlazer, which is known as The Blade Of Firesoul. They went to a Time elemental and they took a look at their future where there will be a late bloomer to his family's element. With that being said, every time Sawano casts HellBlazer the poison inside him gets worse and transforms him into something far worse than a beast. If this continues, he'll die from self-poisoning. And there's no cure. This poison is impossible to remove now since it was cursed years ago."
"Konnor: So he's already dying..?"
"Akira: That can't be true.. Sawano doesn't show signs of being cursed or poisoned-"
(He quickly gasped then remembered the times he vomited black blood and ended up in several hospitals.)
"Akari: We have no choice. If we go to the Federal Branch Headquarters and bust him out, we'll only be risking this school. The only thing we can do now is wait until the time's right."
"Chimon: Akari is right. Until then, figure out a way to stop the riots!"
(Meanwhile in the Hakodate, riots continued to cause havoc as Kira watched over everything.)
"Kira: Kira knew this would happen. Sawano has no taste of common sense and now it leads to this."
(She'd scoff then a portal opened behind her, Xiazress appearing from the portal.)
"Xiazress: Kira."
"Kira: Xiazress."
"Xiazress: You heard?"

"Kira: She has heard. That idiot baka got himself into this mess, Kira will also never forgive him for what he did to her."
(She'd rest her hand on her bandaged neck to where Sawano's sword was.)
"Xiazress: That reckless idiot might be risking himself sometimes. But this was his biggest mistake yet."
"Kira: Kira cannot disagree with you. However, if we attend to break him out we'd both be in trouble."
"Xiazress: I see. Hakodate's going crazy hm?"
"Kira: Yes. Take a look."
(She'd hand Xiazress binoculars to take a look at the chaos from the riots.)
"Xiazress: Federal agents are nowhere to be seen. Just normal police and multiple fighters from the associations."
"Kira: All of the federal agents are at the headquarters where Sawano's being interrogated. Kira wonders how that baka is doing, hopefully he's aware of what's going to happen to him next."
(Meanwhile in the interrogation room at the Elemental Federal Branch headquarters, Sawano sat there with no intention of saying a single word then the chief walks in and stares at him.)
"Yoshizaka: Sawano Magachi, we finally meet. I am the leader or chief of the Elemental Federal Branch, Yoshizaka Hyoromao. But I will grant you permission to call me Mr. Yoshizaka."
(Multiple agents walked in as security.)
"How about we get started with the interrogation?"
(Sawano continued to say nothing and kept his head down.)

"Is it or is it not true that you are currently in a relationship with The Goddess of Void, Xiazress?"
"Sawano: Yes."
"Yoshizaka: I see... do you remember an incident that occurred in the Void Realm regarding both Decayed Retribution AND The Tainted Hydras?"
"Sawano: Yes."
"Yoshizaka: Are you also aware of the fact, you've murdered thousands of innocent ones when you first came into contact with The Order Of Encursed Elements?"
"Sawano: Yes. Regarding these questions, me and Xiazress has performed no inappropriate acts as of such and I assure you I have not meant-"
"Yoshizaka: You are not permitted to speak unless granted!"
"Sawano: I am speaking a truth and you're not listening."
"Yoshizaka: So what is this truth? Is it true that you're a forbidden elemental?"
(Sawano clenched his fist tightly and grinded his teeth which leaves Yoshizaka a cocky smirk.)
"Well? What is your answer?"
"Sawano: Why in the hell should I tell you..?"
"Yoshizaka: If you do not wish to cooperate, we will have legal claims to kill your sister."
(Sawano instantly engulfs in flames which made him pissed off then is pinned down and cuffed with anti-elemental handcuffs as he struggled to be free.)

"I see you don't wish to cooperate.. If that's the case, take him to the lower floor. The Confession Chamber."
(The agents gasped and did as they was ordered as for the others in The High-Commission's office tried to calm down.)
"Ash: This is a very problematic situation."
"Konnor: Yes, it is."
"Akari: What can we even do..?"
"Crystalline: I'm not sure what to tell you. But what these guys really want is a full confession: "I am the son of Kirby Magachi and I am the next human-devouring monster."
"Sumizaki: Why would they want a confession like that..?"
"Dalton: The Elemental Federal Branch leaders are terrifying people and they'll stop at nothing to get what they want. Actually, they're taking him to The Confession Chamber as we speak."
"Angel: That's another name for The Chamber Of Punishment."
(Everyone looked at the window and saw Angel sitting on the window's edge.)
"Everyone: Angel!"
"Sumizaki: Welcome back!"
"Angel: The Chamber Of Punishment is for negative 12 stars and above or for former terrorist leaders. They plan on keeping him locked down there until he confesses the truth that he's Kirby Magachi's son. Knowing Sawano, he'd try very hard to not accept it."

(Two days later, The High Commission looked above all the chaos on day three of the riots.)
"Angel: A damn shame.."
"Sumizaki: Why are they doing this..?"
"Dalton: Knowing Sawano, this could've happened. All Saikan Academy students are annoyed by all of this as well."
"Akira: Hang in there buddy, we'll get you out.."
(As for Sawano in The Confession Chamber, he'd remain chained up with bruises and blood all over his body then was heard breathing weakly.)
"Sawano(Thinking): I can't tell them.. I don't care how I have to do it.. I just can't tell them..."
(The steel door opens and comes Yoshizaka.)
"Yoshizaka: So, are you prepared to talk?
(Sawano weakly looked up at him.)
"Sawano: I hope... you... burn..."
"Yoshizaka: I guess not, time for another round boys!"
(More torturers came in with more tools and Sawano did nothing.)
"Final chance to talk, otherwise I'm going to let my torturers handle it from here."
"Sawano: DIE IN HELLFIRE."
"Yoshizaka: He's yours."

(The torturers electrocutes, stabs, slashes and burns Sawano as he roared in pain throughout the halls. Later on that night, Kiri snuck out the academy dorms after reopening and carried a hidden axe with her.)
"Dalton: Going somewhere?"
(She stopped and turned around.)
"Kiri: If you came to stop me to save Sawano, its not going to work. I'm going no matter what happens."
"Dalton: I know. So I'm coming with you."
"Kiri: No. I'm going alone."
"Dalton: Like hell you are! Come on, I owe Sawano my life! And besides, we're dealing with The Federal Branch!"
"Xiazress: Sounds like you two are on the same boat."
(They looked and saw Kira and Xiazress arrive at the academy's dorms.)
"Both: Xiazress?!"
"Dalton: Kira too?!"
"Xiazress: We plan on rescue him as well. So you two aren't alone."
"Kiri: Tch.. whatever."
"Kira: Kira senses jealousy inside you, Kiri."
"Kiri: I'M NOT JEALOUS! WHAT AM I EVEN JEALOUS OF?!?!"
"Xiazress: Are you jealous that Sawano is mines?"

"Kiri: S-SHUT UP!!! I can care less about that!!"
"Dalton: Well, since its just the four of us. How are we gonna bust him out?"
"Kira: Kira says we should remain quiet and sneaky. Stealth throughout the whole operation."
"Xiazress: I'd say we storm in there and kill every single bastard we see."
"Kiri: Bad Idea, there's agents everywhere at the Headquarters plus they have heavy security."
"Dalton: I might have one Idea, but it won't work unless we get down there. Lets go!"
(He'd run off as Kiri and the rest followed him as for the torturers finished torturing Sawano for the night and he remained there unresponsive.)
"Torturer: This is just brutal.."
(They'd close and lock the steel door as blood was heard dripping from Sawano's head and every drip echoes the quiet room. A few seconds later, Sawano entered his mind and Zugarian was sitting on his floating staff pole.)
"Sawano(Consciousness): Zugarian..?"
"Zugarian: This is just unacceptable.."
"Sawano(Consciousness): What is?"
"Zugarian: This whole interrogation and now this happens.."
"Sawano(Conscious): What can we even do?"
"Zugarian: At this point, I'm not sure. We're chained here with no hope of escape until we confess."

"Sawano(Consciousness): So you mean, I have to admit it..."
"Zugarian: I'm afraid so."
"Sawano(Consciousness): I see."
(He'd return to his body to barely open his eyes and continue bleeding out from the torture.)
"(Aloud): So.. its going to happen.."
(He'd began to sleep but two hours later, Kira, Dalton, Kiri & Xiazress made it to the Headquarters.)
"Kiri: There it is, The Elemental Federal Branch Headquarters."
(Kira would be busy scanning the area.)
"Kira: Kira has finished scanning. There aren't many civilians, plus most agents down there are 6 star elementals. We'll need to be careful and not trigger any signs of suspicion."
"Dalton: I could dress as one of the guards."
"Xiazress: How would that work?"
"Dalton: Watch me."
(He'd sneak down into the bushes and whistled to get an Agent's attention.)
"Agent: Huh?"
(Dalton covered his mouth as he struggled and made muffled screams then killed him with a poisoned dart to his neck pulse which caused him to lie there dead. Dalton walks out the bushes wearing the agent's uniform.)

"Dalton: Tada!"
"Kiri: Not bad..!"
"Xiazress: Yeah, question is how are we gonna get in without them knowing we're outsiders?"
"Kira: Kira has a plan."
(She'd copy blueprints from the branch's anti-elemental handcuffs and creates a prototype version of it then places them on Xiazress, Kiri and herself.)
"Kira has noticed that they are using Anti-Elemental handcuffs. If we used normal handcuffs, they'd catch a suspicion. Don't worry, Kira can turn these off by saying unlock."
"Dalton: Alright, follow my lead. When we're away from them, I'll tell you guys when."
(They'd nod and follow behind him, Dalton acting as the agent."
"Lets go! Lets go! Move it fugitives!"
"Agent 2: What do we have here?"
"Dalton: Three criminals here tried breaking into HQ here. I'll be taking them in."
"Agent 2: Good work, Detention Center is in the next building. Take a left at the prisoner transport entrance."
"Dalton: Thank you."
(He'd lead them to the prisoner transport entry where they'd walk inside Detention Center then turns a corner.)
"Ok, we're in the clear."

"Kira: Unlock!"
(The cuffs would unlock and disappear, Dalton cloning the uniform in their sizes.)
"Xiazress: Whoa!"
"Dalton: I can actually clone anything. I'm a human cloner!"
"Kiri: Neat!"
(They'd overhear two guards talking on the other side of the corner.)
"Prison Guard 1: I heard the new guy's in the chamber's gonna get an early execution even if he does or doesn't confess."
"Prison Guard 2: You mean prisoner 8D-92SM1, Magachi?"
"Prison Guard 1: Yup!"
"Prison Guard 2: Well sucks to be him, know what I mean?!"
(They'd both laugh until Xiazress sends them to the Void Realm in anger.)
"Xiazress: They both deserved to burn in the black inferno.."
"Kiri: At least we know where Sawano is."
"Dalton: Angel said The Chamber Of Punishment, or The Confession Chamber."
"Prison Guard 3: You guys looking for The Confession Chamber? Only executives of the branch has access to go down there. Here, this can get you inside though."
(He'd give them a card that accesses them into the lower floor.)

"Dalton: Uh.. thank you.."
(Akari winks as she takes off her cap for a second and they gasped a bit.)
"Kiri: Akari..?!"
"Akari: Shhh! Yeah.. its me.. I can't just sit by and let Sawano end like this. Besides, I have something I need to."
(A while later, the five of them made it to the lower level and looked at the endless hall of chambers and screams in most of them being heard.)
"Xiazress: Look!"
(They'd point at the main chamber and sees a code.)
"Dalton: Dead locked."
"Akari: I'll take this one."
(She'd pull out a small cube and places it on the top of the lock which automatically unlocks and the steel door opens which they see Sawano chained, bruised and bloody all over his body.)
"Xiazress: ..No.. Sawano..!"
(She ran to him and checked him for a pulse and felt it then cried that he's still alive then he'd groan a bit, waking up.)
"Sawano: X-Xiazress...? K-Kira..? Akari.. Dalton... Kiri... Why are you here...?"
"Kiri: We came to bust you out."
(Kira walked towards him and slapped him.)

"Kira: Do you think you got it together now? This is what happens when you go too far and now look at you, stupid baka."
(She'd remove the cuffs off of him and Sawano's flames instantly escapes the captive anti-element and surrounds Sawano's body as he's being healed.)
"Sawano: Kira.. I want to apologize... even though I saved people, I killed thousands of lives.. I still don't get why you guys had to save me.."
"Kiri: Because, you're very important to us."
(He'd get up after being completely healed by his flames.)
"Dalton: Yeah man!"
(Xiazress would help Sawano up.)
"Xiazress: How do we get out of here now?"
"Akari: I know the way out!"
(Akari would lead them out but they'd end up in the wrong room.)
"Dalton: Wait.. this isn't the way out.."
"Kiri: Akari.. What is this-"
(Akari pierces Kiri's heart with a cursed-infected katana which made her drop her handmade axe and cough blood then everyone looked in shock. Akari removed the blade from her then Kiri fell down.)
"Sawano: KIRI!!!"

(They'd quickly check on her and tend to heal her wound then Akari stood there smirking then laughing which pissed Sawano off.)
"Sawano: YOU BITCH..."
"Akari: In truth, I wanted to say sorry.... NOT SORRY."
(Akari snapped her fingers and multiple agents stormed into the room with guns pointed at them.)
"Actually, there's something I hid from everyone at the academy. I'm actually a MEMBER OF THE ORDER OF ENCURSED ELEMENTS!"
(Sawano gasped and looked down at Kiri in pain as they tried to continue healing her.)
"Ever since those two years passed Sawano, I have been plotting this and waiting for the right moment. I've always despised you and your family! And now, I'm going to kill you all here with my newest weapon. The Katana of Agony, Oculus! One pierce through your flesh with this blade will infect you with ONE. DEADLY. CURSE. The Vex's Heartache."
(Kiri reached his hand out for him.)
"Kiri: S-Sawano.."
(Sawano looked at her and held her hand.)
"Even though... we met a few months ago.. At the elemental academy exams.. You're a true hero to me Sawano..."
"Sawano: Don't talk like that damn it.. DON'T TALK LIKE THAT.. You're gonna be fine.."
"Kiri: This is a very deadly poison.. Even Kira's goddess healing can't.. Help me on this one.."

(The red veins would grow quicker on her body and reaches her hands.)
"You're who inspired me to fight to the death... I risked my life for you.. Xiazress, I'm sorry to offend you at a time like this but, Sawano.... I fell in love with you at a certain time... I just wish I..."
(She'd close her eyes and the red veins pulses then turns black then Sawano stares in shock.)
"Sawano: You wish what..? You wish what...!? Kiri.. Kiri this isn't funny.. Wake up...! Kiri, please open your eyes... Kiri..."
(He sat there and cried as Dalton, Xiazress and Kira stared at Akari, pissed off as well.)
"Akari: Aww, upset about Kiri? Too bad, I'll just kill you brats and send you with her."
(Sawano got up and his eyes turned red and he walked towards Akari with menacingly dangerous power then Zugarian shined the claw and began to speak.)
"Zugarian(Claw): Xiazress. Kira. Dalton. If you wish to keep your lives, you must escape now."
"Dalton: Sawano..?!"
"Zugarian(Claw): Sawano cannot hear you. What you are about to witness is the true power of Kirby Magachi's son. As for you Akari, you've taken the life of a someone who Sawano means much to. And for that, the punishment... is your LIFE."
(Sawano roars a powerful amount of inferno into his soul which explodes out of him then an infinite number of chains rushed from his back and began stabbing every agent seen in the room which screams was heard across the room.)
"P.A System: WARNING, This is an Emergency Lockdown! REPEAT: Emergency Lockdown! All Personnel, escape and evacuate immediately!"

(Agents was hearing thunderous explosions inside the building so they started running as for Kira and Xiazress made it out in time with Kiri's body then they'd both try their best to bring her back as Dalton saw explosions happening in the HQ.)
"Dalton: The power of Kirby Magachi's son.."
(Sawano's tail and horns appear as he continued transforming and the chains continued killing agents while guns was being fired as well.)
"Yoshizaka: YES! YES! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, SECRET AGENT AKARI! NOW LETS FINISH THIS DEMON!"
"Akari: I'M WAY AHEAD OF YOU!"
(She'd cast her trump card where the volcano returns and blasts a massive flow of lava which is control and balanced by Akari then aims it at Sawano.)
"TRUMP CARD: VOLCANIC ASPHALT!"
(She'd fire the massive wave of lava as the other saw.)
"All: SAWANO!!!!!"
(He'd inhale deeply and creates a supersonic roar that bounces the wave back a bit and demolishes the nearby areas and the headquarters would collapse faster.)
"Akari: N-NO! IMPOSSIBLE!!!"
(Sawano charges a powerful wave of fire with just his right arm as the wave return to his direction.)
"Sawano: INFINITE CANNON... SCREAMS OF THE DAMNED..!"

(The wave gets bigger and bigger as powerful volts of electricity is conducted into it.)
"THIS IS WHERE YOU DIE, AKARI!!!"
(He'd fire the fast and powerful wave at her which collides with Volcanic Asphalt and causes a powerful earthquake across the world and powerful shockwaves. Kira creates a barrier for them so they don't get separated by the strong winds.)
"Akari: I refuse to lose to such trash like YOU! BEGONE!"
(The blast would begin to close in on Sawano until his every last part of his veins turned black then finishes transforming into a Reincarnated Demon but then was chanting a demonic saying.)
"Sawano(Demon): Dust to dust... Ash to ash, COLLAPSE AND DECAY WITH ALL WHO CLAIMED TO BETRAY!"
(He'd fire everything he got into the blast which would turn black and white then becomes far too massive and powerful for Volcanic Asphalt then becomes dissolved right through the blast.)
"Akari: N-NO!!! I'M NOT LETTING THIS HAPPEN!"
(She'd spawn her strongest barrier but the blast breaks through it after a forceful struggle then Akari screamed as she was being obliterated into nothingness. The debris later on cleared up, the earthquakes has stopped and the air has cooled down after Sawano descended to the ground and looks at the destroyed rubble then Yoshizaka came, applauding.)
"Yoshizaka: What a show, what a great show! You've finally accepted it. It turns out you are truly the son of Kirby Magachi. The black veins, the dragon-like tail. The pointy horns. And the MAGNIFICENT POW-"
(Sawano blasts a chain from his back into Yoshizaki's stomach then calls it back and his skin closes up.)

"Sawano(Demon): You don't deserve to live."
(Yoshizaka fell to the ground as he cried in pain to the side effects of being stabbed by his chain then Sawano held up his hands, ready to clap them.)
"Any final words, mortal."
"Yoshizaka: I finally was able to see-"
(He'd clap his hands then every single major organ inside him exploded, including his brain then the body lies there motionless then Sawano senses Dalton and the others in the distance and teleports to them. The others said nothing as they saw Sawano's terrifying new look.)
"Sawano(Demon): Is she really.."
"Kira: Kira is sorry.. We're too late..."
(He stood there with an emotionless look on his face as he looked down at Kiri.)
"Sawano(Demon): I see..."
(He began to walk off again and stood at the edge of the cliff.)
"Xiazress: Where are you going..?"
"Sawano(Demon): I have unfinished business..."
(He vanished into thin air and appeared back in the city of Hakodate as The High Commission made it in time.)
"Angel: Kira, Xiazress, Dalton!"

"Dalton: ANGEL..! ITS KIRI..!"
(They made it down to check on her but the others was in shock and Angel checked her for a pulse after trying to heal revive her for a while. She gave up with a depressed look on her face.)
"Angel: ...She's gone..."
(The rest of the High Commission was guilt-felt after witnessing Kiri's death in front of their eyes.)
"How did this happen.. Who did this..?"
"Dalton: Akari... did this.. She was part of The Order Of Encursed Elements. She planned this for two years and kept it hidden from us, that dead body over there is Yoshizaka Hyoromao. He was the chief of the entire Elemental Federal Branch and Sawano... did that."
(He pointed at the destroyed Elemental Federal Branch headquarters.)
"Ash: So.. Kiri's.. Really gone..?"
(Angel nodded with a sad look then the others looked at the damage and destruction then began to leave as an assassin stomped on the remains of Yoshizaka.)
"Assassin: Well well well, it appears this unlucky bastard got his brains popped out. Damn, what a waste-"
(He'd spot Akari's Katana lying there on the floor then walked over to pick it up.)
"Hmm..? What's this here? Guess I got me a new toy. You're going to my collection and I'm your new master now..."
(He'd grab The Katana of Agony and began to walk off then flies away while sitting on one sword.)
