Chapter 19: The Unholy Devil..!

(They was dismissed and walked off to the assassin dormitory as the skies began to turn become bright, the sun was rising and the streets was packed with busy civilians as Sawano walked around like a normal human being.)
"Sawano: Hm.. actually pretty hungry.. What can I eat for breakfast-"
(He stopped and sniffed something then stopped in front of a Japanese diner. After so, he went inside.)
"Cook: Welcome!"
(Sawano looks around the diner and sat down on a stool.)
"What can I get for you?"
(Sawano pondered at the menu for a second then decided what he wanted.)
"Sawano: Mixed rice with Ikura please."
"Cook: Coming up!"
(He'd watch the cook prepare his food in front of him and zoned out, thinking about his past and tries to remember it completely. A few seconds later the door opened and a few assassins walked in laughing.)
"Female Assassin: So then Silvershadow's lunch was actually so spicy, he ended up blasting out of the base!"
(The assassins continued laughing as one quiet assassin noticed Sawano at the end of the stool booth.)
"Cook: Here we go, sir."
(Sawano bowed and began to eat his food as the cook focused on the other assassins that walked in then the quiet assassin kept looking at Sawano. After finishing his breakfast, Sawano paid and left a tip then walked out without taking one look at the assassins then walked off.)
"Sawano: They're pretty good.. Unlike any breakfast I had before."
(Sawano continued his walk and entered a quiet park which had less civilians around then he stopped.)
"Alright, I knew you was following me this whole goddamn time.. Tayna."
(Tayna turned visible and was embarrassed.)
"Tayna: Sawano. Why did you leave Hakodate.?"
"Sawano: The real question is, why did you follow me."
"Tayna: I had a friend look into the future for me. I know what you're going to do and I want to help you-"
"Sawano: I DON'T NEED HELP!"
(He didn't bother to look at Tayna for a second.)

"This is my problem.. My battles.. My family.. I don't want help. I don't need help... Just go, damn it."
"Tayna: You're gonna have to kill me to do so."
(He stood there and said nothing else as Tayna had her back turned as well and stuck her arms out.)
"Come on Sawano. You said you wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone, right? THEN DO IT. YOU DON'T WANT ANY HELP? KILL ME, DAMN YOU! YOU WOULDN'T HESITATE?! YOU'RE ALL TALK, JUST KILL ME GOD DAMN YOU!"
(He took a deep breath and continued walking.)
"Sawano: All you'd do is survive, because you're half-zombie and you have your father's side in you. You're impossible to kill, I'm not. I want to handle this myself, please. Just stay away from me."
(Tayna grabbed his arm.)
"Tayna: For you to be left alone, You're gonna have to try and kill me.
(Sawano's head was placed down and he turned around slowly.)
"Sawano: I'm begging you, don't follow me anymore. Just go the hell back."
"Tayna: I'm helping you with this. I don't care what you do to me. And don't even bother sending me home by portal, I can come back at a single press of a button!"

(He'd growl quietly and held his arm as blackness began expanding quickly across his body then fell to his knees.)
"Tayna: S-Sawano!?"
"Sawano: Get.. away from me...! Whenever this happens, I...
(Tayna grabs the arm bracelet he ripped off and places it back on Sawano but then the bracelet quickly burns into ashes.)
"Tayna: Ahh! What the hell?!"
"Sawano: That's not going to w-work.."
(He'd hold his mouth but violently vomits more black blood then fights his way out of passing out.)
"Tayna: SAWANO..! Are you ok!?"
"Sawano: This happened numerous times.. I'm fine.."
(He'd weakly walk and fell on his knees again, barely breathing right.)
"Tayna: Sawano, I don't care. I'm helping you and you're coming with me."
(She'd grab and carry Sawano, leading the way.)
"I'm taking you to an old friend, he's experienced with medical work. Lucky I used to live down here.."
(Tayna does so and Sawano laid there as he was unresponsive. A while later, Tayna made it just in the nick of time.)
"Tayna: Heller!"
(Heller would stack his new herbs and saw Tayna running to him in the distance.)
"Heller: Tayna! Its been a while!"

"Tayna: No time! I need help!"
(He'd see Sawano on her back and quickly laid him on the bed to patch him up.)
"Heller: What happened to him?"
"Tayna: He was vomiting black blood and I tried to lock the bracelet back on him but his arm.. It obliterated it to pieces."
(He took a look at Sawano's blackened arm and quickly grabbed the right medicine for it and prepares it.)
"Hang in there Sawano, you're gonna be fine.."
(She held his hand and checked his pulse and relieved knowing he's still alive.)
"Heller: This should do it!"
(He'd inject the medicine into Sawano's vein which the blackness began to disappear then Sawano gasps and coughs for air after the medicine quickly rushed into his veins.)
"Easy easy there.."
"Sawano: It happened again.. Damn it.."
"Tayna: Thank goddess we made it in time.."
"Heller: Hope you don't mind but would it be fine if I conducted a little few tests on him? I need to understand your condition he's currently in."
"Tayna: I'm sure he wouldn't mind."
(After a few tests, Sawano sat up on the bed and looked at his own arms.)

"Tayna: How is it?"
"Heller: Good lord... this is.. Unexpected.."
"Tayna: Huh?"
"Heller: What is your name?"
"Sawano: Sawano."
"Heller: Sawano, was you aware that your blood is blacker than before?"
"Sawano: Before?"
(He'd pull up two images of his blood before and his blood now.)
"Heller: About three or two months ago, your blood was black as paint. But now, its even more black and thicker than before. I stumbled upon it back in Hakodate when I was out on business. I assumed it for some sludge."
"Sawano: What are you saying?"
"Heller: You're an elemental right? And correct me if I'm wrong, but that sword is HellBlazer right?"
"Sawano: Yes."
"Heller: I'd like to see it for an examination."
(He'd hand HellBlazer to Heller then he'd examine it to find the source.)
"Dear god.. Sawano. Do you know the book called "The Element History Book?"
"Sawano: I did read it before, why?"

"Heller: In the back of the book lies another page but its the FORBIDDEN PAGES OF ELEMENTS. You possess flames that burns hotter than both the sun and hell's fire and you can obliterate anything in your path depending on your heat. Sawano, you're an Unholy Inferno elemental."
(Tayna gasped in surprise.)
"Sawano: A forbidden elemental...?"
"Tayna: What is Unholy Inferno..? The origin..?"
"Heller: Hundreds of years ago, The Wars of Elements happened. Fire versus Water, Ice Versus Lava, etcetera. On that first war, came Shadow elementals who took control of the entire warlands and won. As time flew by to the third elemental war came the first Unholy Inferno elemental, Takeshido Magachi and the first lady to weld Unholy Inferno, Hirokuma Magachi. They lead the Unholy Inferno element into a destructive power and dominated all that came across their path and won the war without any casualties. But.. four months later after the war, Hirokuma was murdered by Villainous Visions which lead into a trap and Takeshido Magachi suffered the same fate. The most dangerous clan, Cursed Incarnation was responsible for his death. Ever since their deaths, Unholy Inferno elementals has been getting stronger and stronger. Then came your mother and father, Kirby and Radella Magachi took over the Unholy Inferno element as the strongest welders ever. When you was born, they tossed you aside and focused on your sister, Okisaki Magachi. Apparently, you was a late bloomer to the Unholy Inferno element they assumed. After so, they took your sister in as their only child and conducted experiments on her, unspeakable experiments actually and they enjoyed it... They used her while you was tossed away. They injected her with so much possible poisons its unnatural. And the family's sword, HellBlazer was tainted. Sawano, the cause of your black blood is because of your family's twistedness they've caused and added to the blade of Firesoul. Now that you weld it with a Beast, you're on the verge of death every time you summon that sword for combat. In shorter terms, if you keep using HellBlazer, you're going to continue poisoning yourself. Meaning, you'll die and HellBlazer will dissolve and never return in anyway possible..."

(Sawano didn't say a single word after the story as Tayna remained silent with shock.)
"Tayna: Sawano..."
"Sawano: What the hell is this..? Is this really the truth..?"
"Heller: That is correct. They pretended to have different elements considering the fact you are their child and they tossed you away when you was seven and even though you was a kid at the time, your master was actually a spirit hired by Hirokuma."
"Sawano: How did you even know all of this..?"
"Heller: Because... My master is the God of Wisdom, Apollo. I managed to learn a lot from him."
"Tayna: Now do you see why I had to stop you..? I had to get you to listen to the whole story.."
"Sawano: I thank you but... I'm still going to complete my mission. Kill both my mother and my father."
"Heller: Sawano. Even if you go after them, they surpass all the twelve star ranked fighters especially rank one!"
"Sawano: Heller. You said HellBlazer's poisoned, right?"
"Heller: Yes, why?"
"Sawano: That's good enough for me, I'd rather die with this poison inside of me. I know this is an irrelevant goal of mines. But my family has used HellBlazer for combo slashes, henceforth how I made Phantom Slashes. But, I swore to myself I'd land one thousand slashes in one single slash even if it costs me my life force."
"Tayna: That's an impossible record, how would you even complete- WAIT, DIE WITH THE POISON INSIDE YOU?!
"Sawano: Try and stop me if you wish, it won't work. Anyway look, I appreciate the help but I don't need anymore ok? Just go Tayna. If you get involved in this, you'd just hold me back."
(She gasped and stood there watching Sawano walk away.)

"Heller: That man is boldly walking to his grave.."
"Tayna: I'd.. hold him back...?"
(A while later, Sawano walked back into the city and returned to where he vomited then realized he was being followed by one of the assassins.)
"Sawano: I know you're there. You're four trees to the left, hiding in the branches."
(He'd take a quick sniff in the air then smirked with joy.)
"TIME ELEMENTAL."
(He'd dodge a stream of spears made of sand being launched at him then the quiet assassin jumped down and stood there, entering a standoff with Sawano. A few seconds later, she'd draw her sword as Sawano drew HellBlazer from his arm then they charged towards one another and exchanged swords.)

"Assassin(Thinking): I completely underestimated him..! The rumors are true, no matter what sword he welds he physically gets stronger and faster every time he swings it...!"
(Sawano's swings with his sword gets faster which would the assassin keeps up with.)
"Sawano(Thinking): Whoever this is.. She's pretty damn good at keeping up with my speed.)
(They'd both continue clashing their swords together which became faster than the eye could see then they'd separate and catched their breaths.)
"(Aloud): Damn.. you're pretty good with that sword. You're an assassin right?"
(The assassin remained quiet then puts the sword away and took off the mask.)
"Huh?"
"Swift Eye: Yes. My name is Swift Eye."
"Sawano: My name's Sa- Sawano. Magachi."
"Swift Eye: Of course, I'm familiar of you Sawano Magachi. You carry tremendous speed and strength with any sword especially HellBlazer. The rumors was true, forgive me for such assumptions."
(She'd bow in front of him.)
"Sawano: Its fine.. Swift Eye.."
"Swift Eye: I am truly sorry to attack you out of nowhere like that. My lust for strong opponents doesn't seem to rest anytime soon. When I sensed your power, it was.. ERUPTING out of you..."

"Sawano: I'm that strong..? Damn. That's good."
(He looked away as Swift Eye had a confused look on her face.)
"I can use this strength and get even stronger than before. I will complete my mission."
"Swift Eye: Mission?"
"Sawano: My mother and father. They've done unspeakable things to my sister and I swear.. I will have their HEADS!"
"Swift Eye: I see. I wish you luck on your mission-"
(Her stomach growled and she stood there embarrassed.)
"Guess that fight made me hungry.."
"Sawano: I could eat."
"Swift Eye: I know a good eatery around here."
(Sawano & Swift Eye walked to the eatery as Redstreak, Crimson Wolf & Dark Phoenix watched them.)
"Dark Phoenix: What the hell is Swift Eye doing with that guy?!"
"Crimson Wolf: It could be possible that she's close with him."
"Redstreak: Possible. But you know the one rule of the clan: "No assassin can have relations with an outsider of the assassin's clan." Doing so can lead massive trouble for you."
"Dark Phoenix: So, they could be just friends."
"Crimson Wolf: Possibly, lets keep watching."

(Sawano and Swift Eye entered a popular bar which seemed crowded.)
"Sawano: Whoa!"
"Swift Eye: Welcome to the Zen Junction Tavern!"
(He'd look around seeing the bar pretty full nearly to its capacity then everyone looked at them as they entered.)
"Everyone: SWIFT EYE!"
(They all cheered as she smiled and sat down at the bar then Sawano stood there speechless.)
"Swift Eye: Sawano!! Come on!!!"
(She patted the available stool next to her and he walked over to sit next to her.)
"Ena: Ha ha!! Swift Eye, always good to see ya!"
"Swift Eye: You too, Ena!"
"Ena: Want the usual?"
"Swift Eye: Ya know I do!"
(She'd prepare their drinks as Sawano kept looking around and saw sports play on several TV's.)
"Sawano: I never expected this."
"Swift Eye: Yeah, its a pretty great place for drinks!"
"Assassin: Yoo, Swift Eye! The hell you doing here?"
(She gasped as four more assassins walked in and walks towards her then she'd quickly covered her face in shame.)

"Silvershot: Hello??? Earth to Swift Eye, Silvershot's talking to you!"
(Ena delivered the drinks and saw Silvershot talking to her.)
"Ena: Look Silvershot, you might be the second strongest assassin in Yamaguchi. But that doesn't mean you get to pick on other assassins you've defeated in fights."
"Silvershot: The hell you gonna do about it?! I surpass you as well, even if you're not in the clan."
(He'd look at Sawano, confused on who he is.)
"And HEY Swift Eye, who's this guy? I haven't seen him from around here. If you ask me, I'm assuming he's from outside Yamaguchi, yes?"
(Sawano would ignore them and continued enjoying his drink.)
"Swift Eye: Just.. leave us alone.."
"Silvershot: And why should I..? OHH WAIT.. IS HE YOUR BOYFRIEND OR SOMETHING?!"
(The three assassins following Silvershot ooos loudly then everyone looked at what's going on.)
"Swift Eye: Cut it out..! Its not like that..!"
(Sawano slammed his drink down and stood up which caught everyone's attention.)
"Sawano: Can we please. Enjoy our drinks? She is my friend."
"Silvershot: OOOHH, LOOK AT MISTER BIG AND BUFF MAN OVER HERE! Listen, Yamaguchi doesn't need weaklings like you. So why don't you go slither your sad, pathetic self back to where you came from before I make you leave."

(Sawano got up from the booth and stared at Silvershot.)
"Sawano: Do you even know who I am?"
"Silvershot: No and I don't really care who the hell you are!"
"Sawano: I see."
(He'd punch him with powerful impact which blasts him outside the tavern which leaves everyone in shock, including Ena concerning for her shop.)
"Ena: M-My.. My tavern.."
"Sawano: I'll pay for the damages. For now, I want to silence this loudmouth."
(Swift Eye kept looking in complete shock as she sees Sawano walking towards him.)
"Silvershot: Oh.. NOW YOU'VE DONE IT.. YOU GOT HELL TO PAY ATTACKING THE SECOND STRONGEST ASSASSIN IN THIS ENTIRE CITY..!"
(He'd draw his steel-made sword and slashes away at Sawano then Sawano quickdraws Hellblazer with his arm and matches his sync which leads to their swords colliding.)
"Dark Phoenix: Welp, you know the Assassin's Code: "Mess with one, mess with all."
"Redstreak: You're not wrong there, lets go!"
"Crimson Wolf: Wait! Lotus told us to watch him, not engage him. Even if that's the code, what if we run into something that could get us killed?"

"Redstreak: Damn it... you're right. Even if Silvershot is rank two, he poked the wrong bear to awaken."
"Silvershot: I'll MAKE YOU REGRET EVER CHALLENGING ME!"
(Silver orbs would begin to grow around his sword.)
"Silver Bullets, Metal Rain!"
(The orbs would fly into the sky then explode which fires chrome-colored energy beams at Sawano.)
"Sawano: Incursed Shadow."
(The beams would go through his transparent body.)
"Silvershot: WHAT?! HOW ARE YOU-"
"Sawano: Incursed Shadow is a technique that shows my body in its normal state, but it's actually transparent. It doesn't matter what it is, nothing can harm me when in transparency."
"Silvershot: Then.. TRY ESCAPING THIS!"
(The rain would stop then increase by both size and defense as they surrounds Sawano in an inescapable cube.)
"Fortress Of Silver!"
"Sawano: Cute.. but weak."
(The poison inside Sawano would reactivate as the real HellBlazer was called then the black veins grew back.)
"PHANTOM SLASH."
(The entire cube would appear with slashes everywhere then explodes, leaving Slivershot in disbelief.)

"Silvershot: HOW..?! WAIT.. That sword, THAT'S THE LEGENDARY HELLBLAZER..."
(The three of them gasped after hearing that.)
"YOU'RE SAWANO MAGACHI...!"
(Everyone in the tavern and bystanders gasps as they looked at the demonized Sawano then in a second later, Sawano's voice was altered demonically.)
"Sawano(Demon): Yes. I am Sawano Magachi."
(Civilians ran and screamed for their lives to get away from Sawano as Dark Phoenix fell over on the roof and gripped his staff's handle tight.)
"Redstreak: I believe we're done stalking."
(Redstreak & Crimson Wolf jumped down same for Dark Phoenix as they surrounded Sawano.)
"Silvershot: The hell are you three idiots doing here?!"
"Crimson Wolf: Give me a break and cut your ridiculous cocky chat."
(Swift Eye stood in front of Sawano and spreads her arms out.)
"Swift Eye: STOP...!!"
(Sawano looked at her as she began to shed a tear.)
"This is enough..! Just because you're the second strongest assassin in Yamaguchi doesn't mean you get to pick on others, Ena is right! And picking a fight with Sawano is a massive mistake..! I'm aware of what he can do, he's unlike us..!"

"Sawano(Demon): Swift Eye.."
(She'd look at Sawano with the tear running down her cheek.)
"Swift Eye: I appreciate you Sawano, you stood up for me but you don't have to do this.."
"Lotus: Well either way, an assassin's job is to kill and get the job done."
(The other assassins looked up and saw Lotus on the top of the tavern as Sawano powered down.)
"So you're Sawano Magachi. I'm not sure how the hell this transformation happened to you."
(He'd jump off the top of the tavern and lands on his feet then Sawano stood there and did nothing then lights would shine down on Sawano as several helicopters surrounded the skies.)
"Speaker: THIS IS THE ELEMENTAL FEDERAL BRANCH! SAWANO MAGACHI, YOU ARE UNDER ARREST FOR COUNTLESS MURDERS ACROSS HAKODATE!"
(The assassins gasped and quickly scattered as multiple Federal Agents was launched down and surrounded Sawano then an agent walked towards Sawano and he'd kick him away. More agents dropped down to detain him but he continued to escape until one of the agents had a high voltage taser which shocked him unconscious due to his flames overloading with the electric current. After so, they arrested him then he'd be transported to the Federal Branch Office. Swift Eye looked into the sky and said nothing then followed them.)
"Dark Phoenix: Swift Eye..? Where are you going?!"
"Swift Eye: After them!"
"Lotus: SWIFT EYE! You are not to pursue them, that is an order."
(She stood there and said nothing then clutched her fist tight in anger.)
"Swift Eye: I understand..."
