Chapter 49: Hunt The Assailant, Yorito!

(Days later after the attack in Grayfall's palace and Xiazress's death, the top fighters and several Gods and Goddesses was summoned to Earth's Elemental Division building but they all was angered and irritated with their faces clouded with dark shades. Gaito then walked in the room after arriving in time and everyone was silent.)
"Gaito: I heard what happened to Xiazress."
"Poseidon: Where is Sawano, shouldn't he be here with us?"
"Gaito: Sawano is taking a leave of absence to attend to his family emergency in the Magachi dojo. Besides, knowing he still cares about her I'd doubt he'd be in any good mood to hear the news. Nevertheless, there's Kazuya..-"
(Onara slammed her fists on the table which then it snapped itself in half as she was frustrated beyond imagination.)

"Onara: WHERE IS HE.. I'LL KILL YORITO..!!!!"
"Goxius: Lady Shiori, you must relax. I too feel the pain of losing an empress like Xiazress but we cannot let you stress yourself out with the death you didn't expect coming."
"Onara: THE HELL ARE YOU GOING TO DO? I DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF HE-"
"Jogeta: Miss Onara, I'm sorry to cut you off but let me stop you right there. Goxius, HOW EXACTLY could this assailant kill one of the strongest void users in elemental history?! Xiazress is a hero to MANY fighters and this... BASTARD kills her within a blink of an eye!! EXPLAIN THAT, MISTER CHRONOS WANNABE BITCH!"
"Goxius: I do not respond to foul language nor do I understand how he'd managed to kill someone who's one hundred billion times more powerful than he is."
"Jogeta: WELL TRY TO FIGURE OUT A DAMN REASON! YOU'RE THE KEEPER OF TIME RIGHT?! YOU'RE A TIME ELEMENTAL WITH YOU AND THE GRIMOIRE OF YOURS YET ITS BLANK!!"

"Goxius: The grimoire is blank to the human eye.. But to a necromancers eye, there are countless of spells within this grimoire. If I wanted to, I could personally freeze this or two entire dimensions for as long as I want. But, I do have one ability within the grimoire I can use to figure out who he is, but this would require me getting a sample of his DNA.... so settle down."

(Jogeta sat back down and scoffed.)
"Jogeta: In fact while we are all here, Angel. What's the update on dealing with Amber Hunt?"
"Angel: She's taken down six of our fighters and not even the High Commission can get to her."
(The others was surprised.)
"Ash: Hold on! Isn't Konnor the only one who can match Amber in this type of fight?"
"Angel: Konnor's only good with arrows. As we said, Amber Hunt's bullets can be anything touches. Even her own skin! Unfortunately, Konnor only has one bow. He won't reload fast enough against a gunslinger if his arrow take five seconds to stabilize again."
(They all thought about it until Gaito repaired the whole table and smirked.)
"Gaito: I could have a familiar master of mines handle this problem."
"Faiz: Gaito, before your plan. Why are these two here?!
(He pointed at Shibuto and Hinami sitting in the corner, listening to the entire conversation.)

"Gaito: H-Huh? Didn't I tell you two to sit up here with us? You two might be students of mines, but you both are technically royalty as Gods."
"Both: Sorry!"
"Gaito: But seriously, if she's America's top assassin.. we'll have to put a hit on her from Japan's most finest assassin!"

(Meanwhile in Yamaguchi, Lotus was training his students in martial art combat in a one verses one hundred fight. Lotus kept his pinky's nail balancing his staff's edge as he countered and attacked back with just his legs and left arm. He swung his staff into the air and started fighting back without holding back. A few minutes later, Lotus stood tall as all of his students was fallen then was very anxious on how they performed.)

"Lotus: Your training has concluded."
"Disciple #1: How did we do master...?"
"Lotus: That was two percent of my strength I was using. If you all cannot land a single strike as I use two percent of my own strength, I am sorry to say my students... But you'd may as well hang the robes."
"All: NO SENSEI! WE WILL BECOME STRONGER SENSEI!"
"Lotus: I appreciate your enthusiasms. Very well, you're all dismissed, be back here tomorrow."
"All: YES SENSEI! THANK YOU SENSEI!"

(Lotus then walked into the inside of his dojo as the students then departed. After an hour has passed of quiet meditation, Gaito silently appeared in Lotus's meditation room and had his hand held high. With fast yet swift speed, Lotus caught his hand and dodged out of the way, his eyes closed and Gaito smirked. The both of them began to fight at a fast pace but they'd then fight outside the dojo, both their attacks and counters was being evaded and blocked. A split moment later, they'd separate and have their weapons aimed at each other's necks and stopped their fight.)

"Gaito: Lotus."
"Lotus: Gaito."
(They chuckled and sealed their weapons as Gaito then explained the situation to Lotus.)
"I see... so there's one of your students being hunted and you want me to hunt the assailant that is trying to kill this Kazuya?"
"Gaito: That's right."
"Lotus: Say no more. I'd be willing to accept the assassination. But I'll need a bit more meditation before anything else, Gaito."
"Gaito: Understood, Master Lotus. Also, what happened to the guild?"
"Lotus: I've become too powerful to the point I've outmatched everyone in the guild. I've had no choice but to retire and crown the new number one to Silvershot."
"Gaito: I see..."
"Lotus: Also, I am aware of the assassin that has killed Xiazress. I've contacted Master Ryoko and warned his village about this unknown individual."
"Gaito: Gods can handle him but knowing Amber, we'll handle her to you."
"Lotus: I will gladly handle Amber while you all find that murderer. Wait- I'm not one to talk, I'm a retired assassin!!"
(They both laughed but Gaito's seal was then blaring emergency then he'd quickly answer.)

"Gaito: Speak!"
"Azumi(Seal): MISTER TAMAREI!"
"Gaito(Seal): Lady Umezaki?! What's going on?"
"Azumi(Seal): Its the academy! It's being attacked!!!"
(Explosions was heard as multiple students was fighting back against Yorito whom was seen in the background of the seal. A massive gust of wind bursts as she then lost connection and Gaito quickly left the dojo, teleporting back to the Elemental Division's building at Saikan Academy.)
"Gaito: Everyone! Get to the academy... NOW!"
(An explosion was heard as Kazuya was then protected by Hinami and Shibuto but he continued to run away but was blasted by a stronger lightning plus fire blast and exploded him out the school as the students continued running and Shibuto and Hinami was then trapped underneath the explosions.)

"Yorito: Sorry to tell you dear pal, you're much much too dangerous than that Sawano fellow! There's no way I can let you live!"
"Kazuya: B-Bastard...!! TAKE... THIS..!"
(He'd fire unconcentrated lightning bolts at Yorito in which he'd absorb them and fire them back with stronger power which Kazuya then fell to his knees, his arms completely limb from the shock and Yorito smiled at the damaged Kazuya but wrapped his tail around his neck and lifted him to his feet.)
"Yorito: Come now, we can't give up on the battle! This is a fight to the death, raise those fists!

(Kazuya regained his focus and tried to attack with a few kick attacks due to his limp arms but Yorito then caught his left leg and elbowed his kneecap, shattering it and then throws him across the academy's campus, crashing into the fountain and lied there in constant pain to stand up but ended up coughing low amounts of blood and Yorito appeared in front of him and stomped on his broken kneecap.)

"Kazuya: GGGAAAAAAHHHAAAAAHHHHH!!!!"
"Yorito: My my... how could you be such a terrifying individual if you're weak in the present? You really don't live up to your mother's name at all, Kazuya Atharu."

(The rumble behind Yorito was shaking as Shibuto and Hinami then launched several attacks at Yorito but he'd use Kazuya for a shield which forced them to reverse their attacks and dispel them. Yorito then took the advantage and swat Shibuto out of the air with one powerful kick then vanished from corner to corner and attacked him from all sides, leaving a thunderous punch to his face which he'd then become drilled into the ground. A massive crater was formed as Hinami was flying down to fight Yorito next.)

"Hinami(Thinking): His power level... I can't sense it..! But.. Kazuya..! Shibuto..! I haven't mastered my element yet.. I'm a goddess, the daughter to Sawano and Azumi. What can I do..? If I fight him, I'll possible die.. but if I stall for time.."
(Yorito continued to look up at Hinami then floated in the air as well.)
"Yorito: You must be Sawano's child?"
(Hinami gasped and was a bit terrified.)
"Settle now. I would not hurt a girl. But out of pure self-defense, I would."
"Hinami: Why are you doing this...?"
(He crossed his arms and sighed out of irritation.)

"Yorito: Due to time issues, its not within my power to explain my reasons for coming. But all I can say is, your 'Kazuya' friend... needs to die."
"Hinami: I can't let that happen!"
"Yorito: You do not understand, he is too powerful for your sake! Not even Sawano or Gaito can defeat him!"
"Hinami: What are you talking about?!"
(A portal quickly opened as they both was surprised.)
"Gaito: F**K YOU, YOU BASTARD!!!!!"
(Gaito appeared as a fast glimpse of lightning and punched Yorito in the face which blasted him outside of Olympus's reality and into the endless abyss of space. Yorito then appeared back where he was yet suffered the damage he was given by Gaito.)
"Yorito(Pained): Gaito.. Tamarei..? You're... the King Of Gods...?"
"Gaito: YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT I AM AND I GOT MORE THAN SEVERAL BONES TO PICK WITH YOU...."
(The other Gods and fighters came in and saw a beaten Shibuto and Kazuya. Hinami realized and went down to the both of them, Kazuya close to the brink of death after the assaults and was being healed by Hinami as Ares and the others took care of Shibuto.)

"Yorito: I see. Before we begin the fight, I would like the entire audience to hear what I'm about to address regarding my position."
(He'd clear his throat.)
"For all of you to come at me at once, I shall properly introduce myself. My name is Yorito Nikimara. I am the one who've killed Kazuya's mother, Xiazress."
(Everyone even Kazuya overheard and was angered.)
"Gaito: That's enough out of you!"
"Onara: STAND. THE HELL.. ASIDE..."
(Onara floated in midair as she snapped her custom javelin into ten separate spears, hovering behind her and held her original javelin and was set to fight Yorito.)
"I'm not taking your life.. I'M TAKING YOUR EXISTENCE AWAY!!!..."
"Yorito: This could be quite interesting than last time.."
(Onara then launched at supersonic speed and attacked Yorito without hesitation as he dodged almost every incoming spear thrust and attack. The others sat around and watched as Hinami was worried to death about Kazuya.)

"Hinami: Kazuya..!! Can you hear me...??"
(He was silent but had no emotion as a dark shade covered his eyes.)
"Kazuya...?"
"Kazuya: She's... dead.."
(He lied there with tears clouding his eyes.)
"She's... dead and I... didn't.. do anything..."
(A few other fighters went to back up Onara as she was becoming overpowered in speed and Hinami was holding Kazuya to sit him up. Yorito continued avoiding their attacks then vanished out of pure sight and was then maximizing his speed to Gaito's which surprised the other Gods as their guards was kept tight.)

"Yorito: It has been a long time since I've had to boost my power to fifteen percent. You've all been fighting me at my base form in power."
"Ares: BASE FORM?"
"Poseidon: If he was at his base-"
"Yorito: Then you all have not noticed the fullest extend of my indescribable power. Now... for a brief demonstration..-"
(He began to concentrate a familiar power which then inferno then erupted out of his body, exploding into the sky which surprised everyone and scared Hinami.)
"Ares: WHAT IS THIS..?!?!"
"Hera: No..! IT- THAT AURA..! THOSE FLAMES..!"
"Jogeta: I can't believe this... How did he get-"
(Yorito stomped into the ground and smiled.)
"Yorito: What do you think? Impressive on how I've learned Unholy Inferno right? Now... Shall we continue our fight to the death?
