Chapter 48: A New Goddess Has Been Crowned!

(Sometime later in the Void Realm, cheering was heard in an arena which a Voidion fighter fell to the ground, bruised and beaten by Onara which declares her the winner of the match.)
"Announcer: Onara Shiori, wins! She has now scored two hundred fifty seven wins, zero losses and seventeen ties!"
"Onara: Fate Seal."
(As the fighter was then getting up, he was suddenly trapped in a voided circle in which escape was made impossible for him.)

"So.. you've conducted a rebellion against me and you claim to be doing this for Xiazress's name..? Ha. It sickens me that Voidions like yourself does not show proper respect to the ones who've promised to protect you. For your treacherous acts against me and the harm you could've done to the peaceful civilization of Grayfall, your punishment... Is DEATH."

"Fighter: NO.. YOU'RE NOT THE EMPRESS! YOU'RE NOT!! VOIDIONS DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO YOU!!! YOU'VE FORCED HER TO GIVE UP THE THRONE, ITS YOU! YOU ARE THE VILLAIN!-"
"Onara: Silence... and begone."
(In a flash, two void portals was vacuuming the fighter as his screams of indescribable pain was heard and his existence was being erased. Seconds later, not a single trace of the fighter was left as Onara then sheathed her katana and walked away from the arena and the spectators started to leave as well. In the city of Grayfall, she was being praised for her victory as she was walking normally across the marketplace.)

"(Narrating): Things has been different here. After Gaito restored what was broken, I started defending my throne against all takers who deemed themselves worthy. Unfortunately... they cannot match a Goddess's strength. As the new Empress Of Void, I couldn't let Xiazress be forgotten so easily. With that being said, I granted her half of her former goddess power and gave her the role as Guardian of Grayfall. There are some of the Voidions who does not accept me as their new Goddess. I plan to change that and make them believe I am someone who cares. My name is Onara Shiori and I am, The Void Realm's newest Goddess."

(Meanwhile in Grayfall's main palace, Onara was taking a stroll around the gardens and saw Clara, their head maid.)

"Onara: Clara, good evening to you!"
"Clara: Oh..! L-Lady Shiori! Good evening to you too..!!"
"Onara: I see the flowers are coming in nicely, mind if I take a whiff?"
"Clara: Of course!! These are freshly planted too!"
(She took a quick whiff at the flowers and caught a hint of lavender and picked one of the flowers up from the ground.)
"Onara: Hm.. is this lavender I smelled from this flower?"
"Clara: Yes, Lady Shiori! I personally grew these myself, I call those "Inflernos!"
(Onara then was interested after one look.)

"Onara: Hm... mind if I keep this one?"
"Clara: Of course!"
(Onara then manifested a bit of black void into a flower pot which was full of dirt and she planted the inflerno inside the dirt.)
"Onara: Thank you, Clara. Sorry to disturb your gardening!"
"Clara: No no! It is alright! I am thankful that one of my flowers came to your liking!"

(She left a smile on her face and walked back to her office. A while later, she placed the inflerno in the window which it could gain light from the black sun in their sky then she looked around at the city of Grayfall with a concerned look on her face. She then turned around and kicked back into her chair and turned on the first ever International Elemental Tournament. Looking back throughout all of Japan's matches.)

"Onara: Ha... good times."
(She then heard a knock on the door which Xiazress entered with her spear wedged on her side.)
"Xiazress? What's wrong?"
"Xiazress: Nothing is wrong. But... do you sense something strange?"
"Onara: No? What do you sense?"
"Xiazress: Well, its faint... but something impossibly far from The Void Realm has a nasty elemental energy signature..."
"Onara: Hmm.... Nope! I don't sense it."

(She then continued to watch the tournament as Xiazress was a bit worried.)
"Look Xiazress, there's no need to worry. I guarantee there's nothing in the cosmos that is far more powerful than the God of Hell or the King of Gods or me or any other God! So don't worry about it! Come on, there's some lunch in the dining hall."
(She patted her shoulder and they both walked to the dining hall where classical music was being played and multiple royals was eating at different tables. Everyone halted and bowed before Onara and Xiazress.)
"Xiazress: Greetings all, I hope every last one of you are enjoying your meals!"
(They all pleaded her with thank yous and Onara saw a figure entering the cafeteria and was surprised to meet him.)
"Onara: Alesander?
"Xiazress: Father?"
"Alesander: Sorry I'm late.. I had to bring the new Goddess a gift!"
(He opened the box for her which was filled with sticky rice balls and both Onara and Xiazress was confused on what it was.)

"Onara: What is this?"
"Alesander: On Earth, this is known as sticky rice balls and they come with different kinds of pastes for flavor!"
"Onara: Hmm... The smell is extravagant. Xiazress, mind if you taste one with me?"
"Xiazress: Of course! I've never had one before but you try new things!"
(They both picked up a sticky rice ball and examined it a bit before they both took one bite. A few seconds later, Onara's face dropped down as Xiazress ate hers whole and everyone was worried about Onara.)
"Alesander: Uh... Are you ok..?"
(She quickly glanced at Alesander which then released powerful gust of wind in the room and the royals was panicking in fear as they all held on to something and Alesander backed away, terrified from her negative reaction.)
"Onara(Echoing Altered Voice): You dare bring such human cuisine into this realm without my say and made me waste my taste buds for something so TASTELESS?!"
(She then raised her hand and generated a black orb in her palm but then was interrupted by an unexpected visitor.)

"Choryrth: What is going on here?"
(They all paused and Onara then froze with a neutral, cheek puffed face in embarrassment and turned around to see Choryrth.)
"Alesander: The- THE DRAGON KING!"
(Everyone in the room, including Xiazress kneeled before him as Onara was a bit confused.)
"Choryrth: At ease all. I am only here in regards to King of Gods, Gaito."
"Onara: Oh? Is there something happening?"
"Choryrth: No, he could not make it to the party due to training troubles with three of his students. But he has sent you a gift made from Hephaestus to you."
(He grabbed the box and gave it to Onara which then opened itself and formed into a custom javelin with her name engraved on the the handle.)

"Onara: Whoaa...."
"Choryrth: Also, Gaito saw everything. He knows you enjoyed the sticky rice balls."
(Her face turned red and stammered trying to think of an excuse.)
"Onara: W-WELL.. I- I UH.. I-... I..."
(She then pouted and puffed her cheeks.)
"Fine... I guess they were kind of good..."
(The others smiled and chuckled as Alesander stood back up, relaxed.)
"Choryrth: Also, its almost time for your coronation speech. Its two minutes until noon."
"Onara: Oh! Right!!!"
(They all wished her luck then Onara, Choryrth and Xiazress left the cafeteria hall. Minutes went by as Onara and Xiazress walked outside to the front of the palace, in front of the Voidions from across Grayfall and the whole Void Realm was listening from their homes.)
"Good afternoon to all out there! If you're watching from home or attending today, I shall answer your questions for today and prove to you all that I shall keep Grayfall and The Void Realm protected as your new Goddess."
"Voidion Civilian: Lady Shiori! Before your reign as a Goddess began, was you anywhere in contact with the Earth dimension?"
"Onara: Yes, I did live in the Earth dimension with my mother and father for years. I was born a human being who attended a school named "Saikan Academy." I've attended the institution for a while until certain issues appeared which I left the school in a leave of absence."
(More civilians wanted to ask her questions as Choryrth kept watch as security. As hours went by, Onara was then giving a speech after answering questions from the civilians.)

"And to conclude my speech, in the words of my father he once said: 'Have faith in those who protects us, even if they are unlikeable.' I do hope you all will accept me as your newest Void Realm Goddess."
(Everyone was silent until one clap was heard and everyone else started to clap while inspired and Xiazress nodded in agreement with them.)
"Xiazress: I believe... you're going to do a great job as the Goddess Of Void."
(Onara smiled and hugged Xiazress which the audience continued to cheer for her until Xiazress sensed evil energy in the distance which then caught Onara's and Choryrth's attention. Then a moment later, a tailed figure stood on the top of the gate and started clapping.)
"???: Bravo...! Bravo...! Bravo indeed... I speak for all of us here as I say, such an enchanting individual such as yourself, Lady Onara deserves such an honor but you'd run it much much better with a God by your side!"
(In an instant, he appeared standing next to her and whispered in her ear.)
"(Whispering): But of course... I know love isn't your style..."
(Onara backed up with a sweat running down her head, weirded out and confused.)

"Choryrth: Ok, back it up. Who even are you and how did you get clearance into this palace?"
"???: My my... such the pitiful language..! All you have to do is say please and I shall say my explanations for you! But... What I cannot tell you is the information for myself or for my employer who've hired me."
"Xiazress: Hired you?"
"???: Yes... And I'm sure you'd get the message well. This was an order from my employer so please forgive me in the future, former Empress Xiazress!!"

(He'd smirk and without moving a blown hole was shown at Xiazress's torso which had her and everyone else surprised as the Voidions then started screaming and running away as security quickly rushed in as the mysterious person then flipped off the balcony and made a run for the gate. Choryrth then zapped himself from the balcony to in front of the killer but then he'd blow a blue mist in Choryrth's face which temporarily blinded him as Onara then blocked all exit routes for him and she then stared down the killer with a serious glare.)

"Onara(Angered Voice): NOW... YOU'LL DIE...!"
"???: Guess again!!!"
(He'd press a button which the palace was then suffering from explosions across each wing which the Voidions was trapped inside a maze of fire while Choryrth tried to remove the mist from his eyes. Onara was then focused on killing the assassin with several black holes from all sides which she'd smirk out of relief to kill him.)
"Onara: I'LL BE GLAD TO BE RID OF YOU..! DIE!!!!"
(The black holes then pulled the killer from all sides but they'd start to shrink which Onara was trying to grow to bigger size. The ground was beginning to shake as the black holes was still becoming overpowered then they'd all turn into one black hole the killer now holds and Onara backed up after placing a seal underneath him.)

"???: How long do you plan to keep this up?"
"Onara: FATE SEAL!!!"
(The seal then paralyzed him from movement as two more black holes appeared above and below him.)
"Your judgement... DEATH!"
(The two black holes started vacuuming the killer with such force his body was then shredded to bits as both the portals closed. Which then Onara panted and fell to her knees as Choryrth then walked to her after regaining a bit of his sight.)
"Choryrth: Lady Shiori..! Are you ok..?"
"Onara: I'm fine... He's just dead at-"
"???: Last you was going to say?"
(They both turned around and saw him laying down on the gate, chewing on a apple.)
"Onara: How... HOW ARE YOU-"
"???: All I can say is, there's a reason I cannot die... and lady luck smiles upon me for gifting me such a beautiful power at birth!"
"Choryrth: You're going to pay for the damage you've done!"
"???: I would enjoy having much more fun with you two, but I'd better tally along!"
(He'd once again appear in front of both of them.)

"Also, for my name? Yorito. That's all you get, think of it as a 'thank you for playing with me' gift!"
"Choryrth: I'll kill you!"
(Choryrth rushed at him again until more blasted blue mist at him again which this time painfully blinded Choryrth but then vanished out of plain sight. Onara then looked around at the destruction. Moments later, she walked to Xiazress's deceased body and had an emotionless look on her face but was clouded with anger and hate.)
"Onara: It.... was a human.... A filthy human... dares to cause all of this...? Mark my words... Yorito... I WILL MAKE YOU PAY.. I WILL MAKE SURE YOU PERISH IN VOIDION HELL!!!"
