Chapter 60: The Confession...

(Three months has went by without any word from the Tyrants nor the United Government for they have not left Japan. Sawano was waiting in the hospital room to see Kazuya after he spent three months unconscious and was emotionless after the whole aftermath of the fights.)

-Aftermath-

"Sawano: Kazuya..."
"Onara: Wait. So you're cousins... with Gaito..? And you didn't know this entire time..?"
"Sawano: I... I was never even told..."
"Onara: Sawano..."
(She sighed as she said nothing but returned back to the Void Realm.)
"Hinami: Father... You promised..."
(Sawano turned to see Hinami crying with regret.)
"YOU PROMISED YOU'D TELL ME EVERYTHING..!!"
"Sawano: I told you everything I knew... But me and Gaito as cousins is the one thing I didn't tell you because I never even knew about this!"
"Hinami: Lies...! LIES!!! HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO BELIEVE MY OWN FATHER..?! YOU EVEN PROMISED ME YOU'D NEVER EAT A PERSON...!"
(He looked back on how he ate Sybille.)
"Sawano: Wait... I can-"
"Hinami: I knew I can't trust you! If I can't trust my father, I can't trust anyone! I hate you! I hate Unholy Inferno! I hate everyone... I hate everything about you..."
"Shibuto: Sawano. You not only have just lost your daughter. I can't stand to look at you or my own father after witnessing this..."
(They both teleported Kazuya away as Sawano stood there in shame.)

-Present-

"Dr. Zachary: Sawano?"
"Sawano: Doctor, how is he?"
"Dr. Zachary: Well, unfortunately... All of the beatings he taken has severely paralyzed his arms and legs, punctured one of his lungs and shattered his entire rib cage. Kazuya is most likely to not be in the condition to fight on the front lines anymore. Whatever happened out there really made him a mess. To put it in short, he's most likely brain dead."
(Sawano said nothing as he looked down.)
"Sawano: I understand... thanks anyway."
(He then followed him to see Kazuya but Hinami was sitting with him as she was worried to death about him. Sawano then walked out the hospital and sees the civilians minding their business like nothing has ever happened. Sawano then teleported himself to the Magachi Temple then he went inside and saw the family.)

"Okisaki: Welcome home brother!"
"Ankoku: Welcome back Sawano!"
"Kirby: Sawano! I actually have a game we'd all want to play-"
(Sawano gripped Kirby's kimono and slammed him into the wall, irate and frustrated.)
"Sawano: WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN GAITO IS MY COUSIN..?!"
"Kirby: GAITO?! COUSIN!?"
"Sawano: DON'T YOU DARE ACT F**KING DUMB WITH ME! GAITO TOLD ME AFTER THE FIGHT THAT ME AND HIM WAS COUSINS, WHAT IN THE HELL IS HE TALKING ABOUT?! TELL ME RIGHT NOW GODDAMN YOU!!!!"
(The rest of the family tried to pull Sawano back as he was angered with emotion.)

"Radella: SAWANO CALM DOWN, PLEASE!"
"Ankoku: RELAX BROTHER!"
"Sawano: KIRBY, YOU BETTER CONFESS RIGHT F**KING NOW! WHO OR WHAT EVEN IS MY FAMILY ANYMORE?!?!?!?"
(After a few minutes of calming down, everyone was silent as Kirby then opened his mouth.)
"Kirby: Sawano. I'm sorry. Yes, it is true... Gaito is your cousin. I couldn't tell you anything, even if we was your spirit guides."
"Sawano: Why. So why did you hide it from me all these years...?"
"Radella: We feared if we told you, you'd try and find Gaito after you got Okisaki back."
(He continued looking down with shame.)
"Sawano: I already have her back and I have Gaito too... But I lost my daughter."
"Fuchibuto: What?!"
(He looked at Fuchibuto and answered.)

"Sawano: I promised her something I'd never do ever again but unfortunately... my Senvoinian side awakened and terrified her. She doesn't want anything to do with me anymore, I can't even return to Hell with her around."
"Okisaki: Wait, I'm confused.. So if Gaito is our cousin, what does that make you guys to him?"
"Kirby: Me and your mother are Gaito's uncle and aunt.
(Sawano was even more irritated than ever.)

"Radella: I fear things would go like this so... I've called the Tamarei's to come over and help us explain the truth more."
(The doorbell was heard which Radella went to open it. The Tamarei's came into the dojo and sat down with the Magachi's. Sawano then realized Gaito wasn't with them he did not bother asking about.)
"Johide: Kirby."
"Kirby: Johide."
"Masunashi: Can I make anyone some tea..?"
"Okisaki: I can help with that...!"
(Masunashi and Okisaki then left the room and started to make tea as Sawano looked at Johide and Sosu Tamarei, Gaito's mother.)
"Sawano: Tell me everything."
"Johide: Sawano. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet you more at the time because... we've died which you was told. But, as your father couldn't say it, I couldn't tell Gaito it either."
"Sawano: What happened between you two..?"
"Kirby: Me and Johide had a fight. I won the fight and he was forced to change his last name. He, Sosu, Gaito, Masunashi and Kenta moved out of the dojo. But that's part of the explanation... Actually, Johide and I are brothers."
(He sat there with another angered expression but they all noticed his inferno was flickering on both of his hands but he then calmed down.)
"Sawano: Well...? What else..?"
(Okisaki and Masunashi then returned with the tea.)

"Masunashi: Um... I actually can say. I was told but I was sworn to not say anything to Gaito."
"Sawano: Out with it. What was it..?"
"Masunashi: Knowing that, me and Okisaki are cousins too."
"Fuchibuto: Wait... So does that mean- Oh no.."
"Sawano: What?"
"Fuchibuto: Sawano.. remember how Hellblazer was tainted by Anti-God blood and its poison?"
"Sawano: Yeah... why...?"
"Fuchibuto: I think it may or may not be possible that... Gaito is currently walking around with Anti-God blood but the poison in him as well."
(Everyone was surprised at the response as Sawano stood from his seat and was irate at him.)
"Sawano: WHAT?! YOU DIDN'T ONLY POISON ME BUT YOU POISONED GAITO AS WELL...?!"
"Masunashi: Sawano..! Calm down..!"
"Sawano: Why should I DAMN YOU..!"
"Masunashi: Listen..! If all of us here are family, then that means you're a Tamarei Sawano..!"
(His flames dispersed as he then backed away.)
"Sawano: No... NO... THAT CAN'T BE TRUE... NO..! KIRBY...!"
(He was silent as she was telling the truth.)

"RADELLA..? SOSU..? JOHIDE...?"
"Sosu: Forgive us Sawano.. but what she is saying is true. The entire Magachi family before Hirokuma's death... are Tamarei's as well."
(Sawano didn't say anything as he then yelled out of pure anger and yelled but was then dragged by his flames into a portal.)
"Okisaki: BROTHER!"
"Kirby: Let him go. He needs time to accept the truth. If he cannot take the truth that he is a Tamarei, then he needs to fight this alone. Do not offer him any aid of assistance Okisaki, sibling or not, I am asking you to please let Sawano fight this alone."
"Okisaki: .....I understand, father.... Forgive me.."
(Meanwhile, Gaito was eating a hoagie he brought with him from his vacation as he returned to his island home after years. Gaito opened the doors and sees everything still clean and in place.)

"Gaito: Make yourselves at home. Don't touch my shit, please. Just relax, I have to do something real quick. I'm serious, don't touch any of my stuff."
(Gaito then warped himself upstairs to his room as Goxius and Tayna looked around the mansion-like home Gaito lived in but haven't returned to for years.)
"Tayna: He really... likes being alone..."
"Goxius: I don't know what's wrong with him at times. Gaito considers himself as an alpha male. He doesn't need help is what I'm trying to piece together."
"Tayna: What made him this rich is the question, look at all of these workers and the money everywhere... Like, this is unreal..!"
"Goxius: He was a famous assassin. So what can we say?"
(Gaito came back up but switched his outfit as his panther's pelt remained tied around his waist. He jumped off his balcony with his cloak and wearing a dark gi and his cloak shined a red-ish color which referred to his Ember Mist technique.)
"Tayna: Nice uh.. change of clothes..."
"Gaito: Yeah yeah. Goxius, lets go."
(He nodded and teleported Gaito and Tayna to the future. The three of them ended up in a different timeline which shows a completely destroyed Olympus, the academy included.)
"Tayna: Where are we..?"
"Goxius: An alternate timeline, event: Destruction Of The Multiverse And Existence."
"Gaito: Perfect stop."
"Tayna: Why do you say that?"
"Gaito: You'll see when we walk through those doors."

(The three of them walked around Olympus to see deceased Gods, Demi-Gods and descendants everywhere in the rubble. Gaito then kicked down the doors to Zeus's throne room which shocked Tayna and Goxius entirely to see heads of Gods decapitated and placed on several different pillars, Zeus's body slashed in half and hanging above his throne, Hades's body charred and skewered by swords of lightning. Kazuya, Shibuto and Hinami's bodies rotted into skeletons but mounted on his wall and saw most of Earth's warriors deceased with several holes showing from the bodies. The three of them then paused and saw Future Gaito sitting on the throne, holding Zanbato on his shoulder as he recognized the three.)

"Future Gaito: If it isn't past me, Tayna and Goxius... To what brings this pleasure..?"
"Past Gaito: I came here to ask you two things. One: How exactly did you kill everyone here? And two, what can you tell us about the future opponents?"
"Future Gaito: Hm... There isn't a lot I can tell you. But I can tell you a few things regarding your timeline's future."
"Past Gaito: Go on..."

"Future Gaito: In your timeline's future, somewhere out in the multiverses rests a fighter who is far stronger than anyone has ever seen. In exactly three years, he will appear and challenge any and all fighters on Earth. Every defender dies but the only ones who survives are you, Sawano, Lotus, Kazuya, Shibuto and Hinami. You and Sawano combine into one powerful fighter who can slaughter the villain in one attack but one person must be prepared to make a sacrifice."

"Past Gaito: Is that all?"
"Future Gaito: Oh, and everyone here was at war with me for years. It only took me one stage of Ember Mist and Zanbato here to kill them all."
"Past Gaito: So if everyone's dead, where's Sawano and Lotus?"
(He then gripped Hellblazer but was redecorated with Sawano's chains as the blade.)
"Future Gaito: That's only part of him, his body?"
(Future Gaito then lead them all outside of the throne room where Sawano's body was found crucified on the top of a cross but was dismembered, charred, and bloody which terrified both Goxius and Tayna for sure.)
"Past Gaito: Poor idiot. He tried fighting you, didn't he?"
"Future Gaito: When I killed Hinami, I had no choice but to kill him. Hinami was against me and so was he. So, they both are together in hell. Daughter and father."
"Past Gaito: Kind of f**ked up.. But I dig it, I owe him an ass beating anyway."
"Tayna: How are you not terrified of the fact your cousin is RIGHT THERE DEAD..?!"
"Past Gaito: He might be my cousin, but he's annoying idiot too. Part me wants nothing to do with him whatsoever. So future me did past me a favor."
"Tayna: W-"
"Goxius: Don't bother arguing with him about it..."
(She said nothing else as Future Gaito then took them all to the future Earth which was quieter than usual. They all landed in Kyoto, Japan in front of the assassins guild.)
"Past Gaito: Assassins Guild?"
"Future Gaito: You wanted to see Lotus right?"
(They all walked in the assassin's guild which was quiet with nothing but piles of bodies everywhere and they all walked into the main hall where Lotus was sitting on the stage with one spotlight shining on him.)

"Past Gaito: What happened to him?"
"Future Gaito: Lotus had enough of fighting, so me and him are speaking in our minds. Right now, he's in a deep sleep so its impossible to wake him up."
"Past Gaito: So... he's not dead?"
"Future Gaito: Yes. He's just sleeping, as I said."
"Past Gaito: I see. Nothing to worry about then."
"Tayna: So this is the legendary Lotus... Wow... Its so weird that I'm seeing him in person.."
"Past Gaito: Don't get an eyeful stare, lets go."
(They left the assassin's guild and went back to the destroyed Olympus.)
"Future Gaito: So that's pretty much it."
"Goxius(Thinking): I have a lot of thinking to do after this..."
"Tayna: Future Gaito, one question. What happened to everyone on Earth?"
"Future Gaito: Oh, simple. I hunted down every last creature in existence and killed them all. One by one. Human or not, I had to maintain the perfect world for me and those remaining."
"Past Gaito: Those remaining?"
"Future Gaito: Lotus is sleeping. Aimiya is alive still, Masunashi and the family as well."
"Past Gaito: One last question, did you try to kill Masunashi, Aimiya or the family..?"
"Future Gaito: No! The hell WE went through was too much, seeing Masunashi and the entire Tamarei family die once again is a HELL NO!"
"Past Gaito: I see, we'll be taking our leave then."
(Gaito, Tayna and Goxius then walked off as Gaito paused for a moment.)

"Oh, one more thing."
(Without any time at all, Past Gaito delivered a powerful left hook to Future Gaito without any hesitation which surprised him but blasted him across his throne room and crashed into more of Olympus's main center.)
"THAT... was for letting Kazuya and Shibuto die...!"
"Goxius: G-GAITO?!"
(Future Gaito was walking out of the rumble with scratches and his clothes already tattered from the rubble falling onto him.)
"Future Gaito: Hahahaa.... Now.. I'm PISSED... Guess I got room for one more body on the cross over there, I'll crucify you with Sawano so you two can ROT TOGETHER!"
"Past Gaito: Try me, bitch... I don't fall to anyone, FAMILY... OR NOT, EVEN MYSELF!!"
