Chapter 27

One week passes.
We have stopped in a couple of small towns for more food and water.
People are afraid as usual, even the toughest of kids don't dare to confront me.
There are adventurers too out here but they are all weaker ones like F and E rank.
They try to look aggressive so I do a sudden turn to them and they scatter away fast, hmph cowards.
Continuing on and all is well.
No bandits or strong monsters, no assassins or enemy adventurers.
As we go along we finally encounter one of them, an adventurer team fighting some big lizards, 2 guys and 2 girls vs 2 lizards.
They look like teens so they must be beginners that live around here.
The boys are warriors while the girls are both archers.
They manage to take down the lizards and a middle aged guy comes out.
Celebration for that victory.
'beating those that young is not common, they are talented' says the rogue.
'I wouldn't know about that but they worked well together' says the healer.

They spot us, they are wary but don't run away.
Suddenly a bigger lizard appears, their parent I guess.
The kids stand no chance as the boys are hit down and the girls arrows don't do anything.

The creature is killed in one hit by the adult with them, he must be the strongest around these remote areas.
'that was good but you aren't ready yet for bigger foes'
'sensei!' they all say.
We head over there to check on them since the healer insists on it.
'that thing is heading here, what do we do?!'
'we should run away obviously'
'd-don't move everyone, it'll be fine, just let them pass' I hear one of the young girls saying.
'that's correct, don't do anything rash and it's be fine' says the sensei.
'hey there, you alright? we saw that fight just now' says the rogue while the healer gets down from me.
'I'll heal you up so stay still ok?'
The boys stay quiet and their faces turn red as they see the healer's big breasts near them.
No busty women anywhere near here huh, what a shame.
The girls are jealous or they should be but they are too frightened by me for that right now.
They hide behind their sensei as the healing is finished.

'I must say, a tarachnid is a rare spider monster outside of dungeons, the usual spider types aren't found around these parts' says the sensei, 'if you don't mind me asking, is it enslaved?'
There are other races of giant spiders? that sounds scary.
'yes it is, we just got lucky and found a weak one that isn't that aggressive for a spider monster and it all worked out' says the rogue.
'so there's nothing to worry about kids, you can even touch him, go on' insists the healer as she nudges the kids to me but they won't budge.
'leave it at that, we need to get going as well' interupts the elf.
'also you 2 girls' archery earlier was good, you just need to grow up and get better bow and arrows so don't worry about not beating the lizard creature'
The girls light up and we head on, as we leave we spot a monkey looking at us.
It looks like a normal monkey but bigger, is that the normal size here?
It runs away and that's that.

'that's really troublesome' says both the sensei and the rogue.
I didn't know at this time that those monkeys meant serious conflict was approaching.
