The Reunion in Heaven

Chapter 23


She goes inside the gate of heaven. She expected that even after entering the gate, it will take some time to arrive in heaven. That they would have to walk inside the gate for some time. But instead of walking inside the gate for some time they arrived at heaven after the very step she set her foot inside the gate. But she was kinda disappointed after entering the heaven.

Light asks her :"Are you surprised? What do you think about heaven?"

Natsumi replies to her with a dissatisfied face :"I thought it will be more beautiful than this. You could say I had greater expectation than this."

Heaven didn't looked the same she thought it would. It was not like what the mythological or religion's information said. The heaven almost look like earth. After entering the heaven she could see faraway that there is some houses. The house wasn't like the house she lived in. Half of those houses she looked was made of stone. Those houses were almost destroyed or about to be destroyed. The other half of those houses she saw looked like medieval era's european's house. She looked around but she saw no great change from the world she lived in looked like. When she was younger she thought that the place called heaven would have giant palaces to live in. That the heaven would be technologically and geographically more evolved than the world she lived in. The environment wasn't too much bad or too much good. It was just too much normal to be called heaven.

Light asks her :"Oh my?! Oh my?! I thought you would like it. What is that in here.. in heaven you are dissatisfied with?"

Natsumi replies to him angr :"Are you joking with me? Are to trying to mess with me like before?! How could this can be heaven this!! This is more like the past of our.. ahm. My world. After you made me cry some moments ago, you are telling me lies now!!!"

Light tilts his head left. He didn't understand it.

Natsumi replies to him with an unamused face :"I knew. You wouldn't understand what I told you, cause even if you are the God you are just an idiot god. Who can only make people sad and depressed. I was stupid to ask you in the first place. I should be happy that you brought me here after I died and not punish me even after I punched you. I am really grateful to you. Farewell."

She starts walking to find somewhere she could live or stay in this place. Light understands what she said. 

Light replies to her :"I am not joking with you or messing with you. This is really the heaven. The heaven's that you people were all talking and thinking about and still talking and thinking about from the beginning of humankind. Like I said before! I didn't wanted to make you sad or cry. The sentences you read was said by your parents in your funeral also you were murdered it wasn't an accident."

Natsumi stops walking and replies to him :"You are still lying. You know I don't care anymore. I am sure that they will forget about all of it in time. Like there is a saying that said that time will heal all wound. Their are sadness and pain will heal in time. I hope my pain and sadness will also heal over time. I am sure that my anger and hatred for you will also calms down over time."

After she said that to him she starts walking again.

Light replies to her :"Wait a minute"

She didn't stop walking rather she continues to walk towards one of the house. She didn't reply to him.

Light shouts to her while waving his hands :"Oi~Oi~ I wanted to give you something. Oi!!!! Natsumi chan"

He continues to shout at her saying this words for sometime but she didn't reply to him or even look back to him. After sometime of shouting at her he gave up because she didn't reply or look back once.

Light [Every time she told me to wait I have always waited or at least looked back to her, listen to her and now she do this to me! How ungrateful! But this is just how humans are I guess. I kinda sounded like him. Didn't I?]

After some time of walking she arrived at one of the house that was made of stone and it looked like one of the stone age's house.

In front of that house Natsumi asks this :"Does anybody live here? Is anyone here?"

But no reply came from the house.

Natsumi [Nobody is answering. Is this place empty? Maybe it is. Just looking at the front of this house I can already tell that this is very old. In most of the mythology it was stated that heaven was created before earth or the universes were created. It must be some of the old building from that time. It must be older than hundred thousands year. If I think like this, this building might be a relic from the past.]

After she thought that to herself she enters that building. That building was as old as she thought. She looked at the drawing room. She saw that there is mattress in the floor but it was covered in dust. There was some broken glass falling all over the room. There was a old pictures other than these there was nothing worth mentioning or seeing. It was kinda weird seeing a broken glass inside of a stone age house but she thought that this might be normal in here. She moves to the other room walking avoiding the broken glass's shards. The other room was the dinning room. Rather being a room with dust and broken glass all over the place this dinning room was not filled with any dust or broken glass it was clean. It looked like a normal dining room than a stone age house. There was a refrigerator in the room. There was also a light in that room. There was a table with six chairs in that room. She also noticed that there is a book on that table. She got curious so she walked to that table take the book and sit in one of the chair that was there.

The book title was :"Death List". After she saw that title of that book she got both scared and curious. She opens the book and looks at the contents of that book. She reads the book for sometime. Most of the contents and page of the book she read so far was filled with people's faces, their name, their time of birth, the time they died, the name of the world they got reborn to and the time they got reborn in another world. Sometime after seeing and reading the contents and pages of that book she hears someone humming some kind of song from the next room. She closed that book instantly after hearing the voice. She was scared

She [That sound it came from the other room. Should I go? But the person who had this book might be in there. If it is dangerous than I shall run away as fast as possible]

After she thought that to herself she stands up from that chairs and moves to the next room slowly. Peeking at what was in that room. She saw that there was a black haired man wearing a cooking apron over a white shirt with black pants. He notices her and look at her. She startled. She thought she was a goner.

He said this :"Long time no see, Natsumi"

Natsumi asks to him instantly :"Who are you? And how do you know me?!!!!"

He replies to her :"I am Ban. Well, you wouldn't know cause my hair is black now. Should I turn into what I looked like before?"

Natsumi remembers Ban and that Ban had yellow hair. And also that he is a human with almost the same height as her

Natsumi shouts to him :"BAN?!!"
