Light again ditching his jobs as usual

Chapter 24


Ban covers his ears because of loud voice. And he takes his hands off after she said that

Ban replies to her :"You didn't have to be this loud. I know it might seem sketchy to you but I am really Ban." 

Natsumi was confused so she asks him :"How can you be Ban?"

Ban replies to her :"Because I am Ban. That's why I guess?"

Natsumi replies to him :"Ban didn't have black hair. His face also didn't look like this. Also he wasn't as tall as you. Are you some kind of a relatives to Ban?"

Ban was confused. It wasn't supposed to be like this. He asks her :"Didn't Light give you some kind of thing to eat?"

Natsumi gets angry after hearing Light's name coming out from his mouth

Natsumi asks him :"By chance do you know Light?"

Ban replies to her :"Yes, I know him. You should also know him you have already meet with him twice."



Natsumi replies to him :"I see. I understand what are you trying to do."

She nods her head while she was saying that to him. Ban got curious about what she understands. Did he remember everything that happened? That question arises in his mind

The pan that was in the stove suddenly got in flame. Both Natsumi and Ban was surprised by this. Natsumi backs up a few feet while Ban took the pan and drop it outside of the house through the the window. It falls into a lump of dust. She didn't know that this was a kitchen. After that he again took the pan from outside and starts to cook again without cleaning. She was surprised by that behaviour of him. She thought that he might be a crazy or mad person

Ban tries to calm her down by saying this to her :"Don't worry I just had to it cause there is no water in here. Also in heaven, everything that is dirty will be clean of it comes to contact with sand. Just like this. Look at it. It is sparkling"

Natsumi looks at it and saw that no dust or sand was in there. It was totally clean and sparkling like it's a brand new pan. 

Ban look at her and thought to himself [Wait a minute did she realizes that I am Ban. Don't tell me she already remembered about our time together with Light in the void space without eating whatever type of food that Light put her memory on inside of it. She is more intelligent then I thought she would be. She maybe can find the answer of my questions that I was thinking about all this time.]

She look at him find that he was looking at her with a smile she kinda find it creepy as if he was trying to hit with her. She was suspicious of him being a pervert this time cause it's her first time meeting and talking with him. Her memory of that time didn't actually came back. She stares back at him with a disgusted looking expression at him because of what she thought of his action.

Natsumi replies to him :"You are a pervert, Right?"

Ban was confused. He replies to her :"Huh"

Natsumi asks him :"Are you one of Light's friend?"

Ban didn't understand what she was trying to get at but he still replies to her :"I don't know what you're trying to mean by that. And also if you ask me that I guess you can tell me that I am Light's friend."

Natsumi became more sure of what she thought of him. She asks him like this :"I am gonna ask you again, You are a pervert, right?"

Ban was again confused about how she came to this conclusion but he replies to her :"No I am not a pervert. Neither I am making fun of you"

Natsumi gets a bit relieved after hearing his reply but she still didn't completely believe in him on the part that he said he isn't making fun of her.

Natsumi replies to him with a smile like this :"I don't know who you are but you know Ban and you also know Light. Since you know about Light I think you kinds of know what kind of personality he have. He and I don't have the best relationship. I kind of hate him. So I hope you won't talk about him in front of me."

Ban didn't understand why she is angry at Light or what Light did to deserve her hatred.

He thought to himself [What happened between her and Light. Did they fight? Well judging from his personality I think anybody will be mad, angry at him. Some also have tried to kill him at the past. Should I see the past about what happened between them? I think Light is again ditching his work onto me. I should rather asks her. Even if I think all of that, I am still kinda disappointed that she couldn't believe that I am Ban. I am also disappointed in her that she couldn't remember her lost memory. It's seems like there is just no way to regain the memory that has been erased in the void.] He sighs once

He didn't reply to her if he is either ok with her condition or not. Natsumi was waiting for his reply but he didn't reply rather he was thinking all of that and sighs. Natsumi was bored of waiting for his reply.

Natsumi [He must be thinking of how to make fun of me] But she didn't lose her composure. She stays calm.

Natsumi looks at him and asks him politely, angelically :"Are you there, Mister?"

Ban was so immersed in his thought that once she said that he was startled and immediately replies to her :"Yes, I am here"

Ban [What the hell was that?]

Natsumi asks him again :"Will you keep my condition?"

Ban replies to her immediately :"Yes I will."

Natsumi takes a breath of relief and replies to him :"Thank you. We have been talking for a long period of time but I still don't know your name. Can you tell me your name?"

Ban didn't reply to her questions cause he already told him that he is Ban but she didn't believe in him because her memory of that time was erased and the food that Light made out of those memory was supposed to be given to her after she died but it didn't.

Rather he replies to her :"Before I tell you my name, can I ask you something?"

Natsumi replies to him :"Of course, you can ask anything. But don't think that I will answer every kind of questions. Like if you ask about my three size, I won't tell you about it."

Ban replies to her :"I won't ask for your three size, you can rest assured. So when a person dies they first meet with Light."

Natsumi [It seems like he was one of the person that chooses to be in heaven rather than being reborn with that low percentage. Light said that heaven's gate look differently for each person. I wonder what heaven's gate looked to him!]

Ban explains what happens to a person after they meet up with Light and continues :"So he should have gave you something to eat. Did he let you to eat anything?"

Natsumi replies to him :"Is this really a question that needs to be answered?....."

Ban didn't reply to her rather look at her as if he really wanted the answer of it. She sighs once. After that Natsumi continues :"He didn't give me anything to eat. I told you to not to talk about him in front of me but since you really Wanted to know I told you that. Are you happy now?"

Ban thought to himself after hearing her reply [So Light realty did ditch his job again to me. Light are you there? Can you come down here?]

Instantly after he thought that to himself as if he was talking to Light, Light appears out of nowhere like it was instant teleportation. Natsumi was surprised to see him in here.

Light asks Ban :"So what did you wanted to know about Ban? You know that I am kinda busy. Don't call me every time a little something happens"

He looks around and saw Natsumi. He asks Natsumi :"Yo!! How is you day so far at heaven?"

Natsumi was still angry at him so she didn't reply to him anything. She remaines silent.

Ban replies to him with a angry voice :"Why didn't you give Natsumi's memory back?!"
