Chapter 11:

Planet Hazar Episode 11. "Defeat each individual"

Toward Eden

That afternoon, after receiving the report from the returning scouts, Grynn and the others held another strategy meeting. They learned that the demon world nests in rocky places, that there are about a thousand of them, and that there is a particularly large snake that seems to be the command center. When the strategy meeting was over, Grynn came back to the spaceship.

"Grin! What's going on?"

Tara asked hurriedly.

"Yes. There are more of them than we thought, and it's too risky to ram them into the nest as it is. Therefore, we will conduct a luring strategy, destroy them individually, reduce their numbers, and then hit the nest."

"I see. So, how are we going to lure them out?"

"The third platoon will do it. The third platoon will go near the nests, provoke them and lure them out into the desert, and then we'll all kill them. We'll start tomorrow."

"Okay."

The next day, the third platoon returned with a group of giant snakes. As planned, Ginrei and the others were already standing by.

"Good! We'll do the same as yesterday! Let's go!"

Grynn shouted, and Tara used his lightning hammer to strike the swarm of giant snakes.

"Ginrei, let's go!"

Grynn and Ginrei charged at the herd. Grynn burned the serpent and Ginrei cut through the leaks. Musashi jumped on the serpent and bit its neck, then shook his head and tore its head off. The two of them, along with the rest of the group, proceeded to clear away the serpents one by one.

"If this keeps up, we're going to be just fine."

Grynn said as he took a breath. One of the serpents spat a reddish-black liquid at Ginrei. Ginrei's head was covered with the liquid.

"It's hot! It's so hot!"

Ginrei shouted.

"Musashi, stop the serpent!"

Gurin shouted, and Musashi ran in a circle around them, barking. The serpent, afraid of the dog, did not come into the circle.

"Are you okay?"

"I don't know what it is, but it's burning me!"

"Okay, hold on."

Glynn seared Ginrei with his flamethrower. The liquid that had been on her evaporated and disappeared.

"How's ......?"

"Yeah. It's healed."

"Next time, dodge. Musashi, too."

"I'll try."

They regained their bearings. The serpents showered them with liquid one after another. Glynn and Ginrei had already predicted this and dodged it with a flutter.Musashi, who was always agile, was able to get past them without difficulty. Two hours had passed and they had destroyed the swarm.

After returning to the spaceship, Glynn looked carefully at Ginrei's body.

"How's it been since that weird liquid they just poured on you?"

"Well, ...... I think I'm fine."

"Just to be sure. Go to your room, take off your clothes and check."

"Okay."

Ginrei went into her room and took off her combat gear. She took a good look at her entire body in the mirror. There was not a scratch on her white skin. She breathed a sigh of relief, put on her clothes and returned to the briefing room.

"I'm fine."

"I see. I'm glad. But I didn't expect them to spit out poison. Well, come to think of it, they're snake shaped. I should have expected them to spit venom. I'm sorry."

"No, ...... is nothing for Grynn to apologize for."

"Well, ...... thank you."

Ginrei was trying not to laugh inwardly. At first, he thought that Glynn would be a scary captain, but he was surprisingly cute.

"I guess people aren't always what they seem?"

Ginrei muttered quietly.

"What? What do you mean?"

Glynn looked at her suspiciously.

"No, nothing. You're done for the day, aren't you? I'm going to my room to get some rest."

"Oh. Do what you want."

Ginrei went back to her room, took off her jacket and lay down on her back on the bed. As he stared at the ceiling for a while in a daze, she received a telepathy from Water Lily.

"Miss Ginrei, how are you feeling?"

"Yes. I'm doing okay. I'm fine."

"I see. ....... I received a painting from someone named Mira. She asked me to deliver it to MissGinrei, so I will send it to you. It will take some time because it's an art shipment."

"Thank you very much. I'll look forward to it."

"Well, be careful."

Ginrei remembered Mira's face. The redheaded fanny face. She must have finished the painting that she was working on at that time. The painting of Eden. Ginrei tried to imagine the Garden of Eden. To be honest, she didn't know much about it, but she already knew that the space under the control of high-class forces was very comfortable. Even when she was living with her parents on Earth, she had never felt so peaceful and at ease. This feeling became even stronger when I encountered the demon world. Ever since I came here to Hazar, She have always felt the negative energy of the demon world, and her head has never felt clearer. When she fighting, she is just trying to kill, but even when she is resting like this, her head is heavy and her mind is buzzing.

"We have to get this planet back to normal as soon as possible."

Ginrei muttered to the sky and fell asleep.
