A chamber in Hell

Chapter 31


After hearing that Light starts laughing. None of them understands the reason why he starts laughing. He should have been sad or angry because she disrespected him. Ban looks at her. She looks at him too. Just by looking at him she could understand that he was trying to know why Light was laughing. She didn't have know. She was ad confused as him. She waves her head around to indicate that she doesn't understand. Ban understands what she is trying to tell by that. Light was still laughing. They both remained silent listening to his laughter. As time goes his laughter would grow louder and louder but slowly. After about laughing for almost three minutes he stops laughing.

Natsumi [Finally. He stopped laughing]

Ban [At long last. He stopped]
Both of them sighs after thinking that. 

Light sits down on a chair at the opposite side of Ban and Natsumi. He puts his hands on the table. He then let his chin rest on his hands by putting both of his hand below his chin. 

He looks at them at said this :"I guess you both should go to hell."

She replies to him :"It's the thing I have Been wanted! It's still way better than seeing your face."

Ban was surprised by hearing that from her. He apologize to him :"I am sorry. She is just joking."

Natsumi wasn't joking. She was totally serious. So she asks him :"Why are you apologizing to him? I was not joking. After all, Other than being a comedy character from a random anime, he is just a selfish, idiot, worthless God."

Hearing that from her Ban starts sweating all over his body. He was getting worried and more worried 

Ban [What are you saying idiot? You are badmouthing the God, in front of the very God that created you! Even if he is actually idiot, stupid and worthless sometimes, he still have the power to throw you into hell!! Into the eternal abyss and the eternal darkness!!! Don't you have any fear?!!]

Though even after hearing what she said about him(Light), he(Light) didn't do anything. He neither did get angry or sad. Neither he looked like as if he is angry. He just downcast both of his eye.

She continues :"Even though he is stupid. I am also kind of interested in what kind of random type of hell he built. It will be either really messed up or something very stupid. I think that the hell would be a room or chamber full of pictures and recording of himself saying that he is the Greatest being, the God Blah blah blah. And things like praising himself. That would be one of the worst kind of hell for people who hates him. But to him it's the best place to ever live in."

He gets angry this time. Flames starts blazing out from his entire body. With just a look anybody can tell that he is super angry. Ban saw that and got frightened and scared.

Ban thought to himself [She is so dead. Even though she is already dead, she just disrespected the God and his creation. Her souls will be destroyed into pieces or maybe she will be thrown into the place of eternal abyss, eternal darkness, to the hell. Even I don't think that I can persuade him to save her now. It was a short time but it was great knowing you] a single tears come out from one his eyes.

Suddenly all the flaming blazes that was coming out from his(Light) body disappear. He(Light) stops down casting his eyes. 

Light looks at her and asks her with curious eye :"How did you know?"

Ban was so surprised that, all he(Ban) could react to that was this :"What?!" 

He said that but it wasn't that loud, it was really quiet. It was so quiet that it was as if he is silent. Even though he was really surprised, she wasn't.

She replies to him(Light) :"As I thought. Anybody could have guessed that after talking with you for more than hour." 

Light looks at his own reflection through the water in the jug. He bites his own lips by how miserable he felt after knowing that anyone could have guessed that. It was one of his secrets that he never told to anybody. He was really annoyed by the fact that somebody knows it. 

While biting his own lips he replies to her :"Damn it! I thought nobody would be able find that out, that I have this kind of chamber in hell. I was too naive. To think that someone like her existed."

She replies to him like :"It's not that important. It is just a chamber full of pictures of yourself. It's nothing to be all tensed about. Even Ban should already knows that. Aren't I right, Ban?"

Ban was surprised by how she stopped herself from going to hell just by changing the subject of the topic. It was not a feat done by any human before.

He thought to himself [Wow! I didn't know that a human that can change their future from going to hell. She just done something that no ordinary man or woman could never done. I guess that's why Light said that she is an interesting fellow.]

She again asks him(Ban) :"Aren't I right, Ban???"

He still was in his own thought. He didn't hear what she said. She gets a bit angry at him for not giving attention. 

She yells at him :"Are you listening?!!!"

Ban was startled. He was surprised. He then asks her :"Why are you yelling?"

Natsumi replies to him :"You are finally back now. What were you even thinking about? Though it's not important right now. I was asking that, you actually knew that he(Light) have a chamber full of pictures and recording of himself in hell, right?"

Ban replies to her like this :"I didn't know."

Ban actually knew that he had this kind of room in his palace. Not only in one palace but in many different palaces everywhere in Heaven that Light created himself. But Ban couldn't find a torture chamber like that in hell. But he was sure that it existed. It just that he wasn't able to find it. So he didn't knew what to say to her. Light looked at him intensely while sweating really hard. He was serious about this. He was hoping for him(Ban) to not know anything about that. Ban looked at Light. He could understand that just by one look at his face. Since they have knew each other for more than 2 thousand years.

Light was happy hearing that. It brought a relieved smile at his face. Light replies to her with a smug face :"You said Anybody? Ban knew about me for more than 2 thousand years yet he didn't know! And you told me that anybody's can know that??!! I guess you are not as intelligent as your looks."

Natsumi was kind of disappointed. She looks at Ban and replies to him :"I am kinda disappointed on you, Ban. But I guess you were right about people not knowing about that. I guess, I was wrong about that."

Light replies to her with that smug face again :"That's of course something that only I, the greatest being and the supreme being, the God could achieve." 

He then laughed

Ban thought to himself [I knew that you had more than a hundred place that is full of pictures of yourself. I just didn't knew about that torture chamber in hell. That chamber is really lame and creepy. I don't wanna go there. Just by thinking what it will be like make me feel nauseous.]

Light stops laughing and asks her :"What were we even talking about that made us talk about this?"

She replies to him :"Now you say it, I actually I forgot."

Light replies to her :"Just like I told you. You aren't as intelligent as you look."

Natsumi replies to him :"You can't say. I maybe not the best, but still I was one of the top students in Japan."

Light asks him:"What was it, Ban?"

Ban after hearing that knew that, if he told the truth, that she disrespected him a few minutes ago he would definitely throw her into hell. Into that chamber. 

So Ban looks at him and replies to him :"I forget. It must be not something important since both you and I forget about that."

Light replies to him :"Yeah, you are right."
