2nd floor cleared.
The monsters were stronger but it seems it wasn't enough to be a problem, I'm just too much for them I suppose.
Another descent down and another break.
'the 3rd floor won't be that difficult either I bet, the main issue will be the last floor then' says the elf.
'yeah, our stamina should be running low by the time we reach the boss monster' says the rogue, 'it's a big bat monster I heard when we were in town'
'firing at it with an arrow with lots of power might be hard and we don't want the roof to collapse, we'll need to rely on tara afterall'
'it should be fine, the weaker of the boss monsters are still high end B rank threat but tara should be able to finish it off with our support'
As this is going on, the healer is healing our minor scratches, we say we are on break but it doesn't last long.
The monsters always find you before long.
'only 5 minutes and they are already here'

A demonic goat creature killed and the rogue finishes off the other with a fast precise strike to the neck with her dagger.
'let's go'

I've been following them since they left and they haven't noticed yet, their guard is sloppy.
A single one of the king's private assassin team of 3 is on the job, when they found out the spider had left the capital they couldn't all go on such a long journey so only one could go.
It was decided it was the girl of the group to go in case they get captured.
A small girl around 4 foot tall, brown eyes, short orange hair and wearing black clothes with a hoodie covering their head.
Would the spider kill the girl? they thought about this and decided it was unlikely, it was travelling with 3 girls after all.
How about men? it would likely kill them, this means it was a male but this couldn't be confirmed since the species was too dangerous.
Each of the assassins had a special skill that made them special enough for the king to choose them.
It's actually the same skill for each of them, honed throughout their lives.
Invisibility.
It might sound underwhelming but they have mastered it to the point where others cannot detect them through smell, heat or even low/mid rank spells.
This makes them perfect for rogues/assassins and of course they were picked up by the underworld and trained for that.
Eventually info leaked and the king managed to grab them, not many knew about the 3 so info leaks were easily contained by killing those that did know.
They have been trained well so they dealt well with the change of leadership, just keep following orders.

'none of them has noticed me, even the monsters haven't'
getting rid of some of the monsters has been my goal for now since I can't let them die on my watch, though with that spider's strenght it might not have been necessary.
3rd floor is cleared, they didn't take any serious damage yet again, heading to the final floor ahead of them just in case.'
As she drops down, a group of monsters are near the entrance there, dozens of big bats on the ceiling and over 10 demonic beasts.
'woow, without my skill this would spell death, I can't kill them all since they would panic and might hit me by accident, I'll just get rid of a few as the group comes down'
