Chapter 32:

Chapter 32

I was Reincarnated as a Spider however I still want to become an adventurer so I did despite the fear and threat of death yet I persevered and was accepted by a group of nice girls so now I will live out my dream to become a Hero and defeat the Demon King

The final floor, the 4th floor.
Other dungeons go deeper and there are some with only 3 floors but overall this is one of the easier dungeons to complete.
Doing it all at once is too much for begginers but once you reach a certain point it becomes possible.
For this reason the rewards aren't too big since higher ranked adventurers can just clear the dungeon repeatedly and abuse the respawn feature however it's still good enough for early B ranks and below to get some money and experience.

The girls are top of me and hang on as we descent the slope down below.
As we fall we see the monsters, lots of them and they are surrounding us.
Action right away!
I land and 5 beasts already launch at me, I slash through 2 but 3 manage to bite me.
Shake them off and another slashing move.
They go down easily, my blade like legs are just too sharp.
Meanwhile the elf shoots the ones further away to create some breathing room.
I can't avoid being hit but the rogue helps by slicing the monsters off me while the healer is casting her healing.
It's over quicker than I thought but there's no time to rest.
We continue on to not be cornered at the entrance.
The monsters are tougher, they still die in one hit but you can't be careless or they will land a hit in.

After half an hour we notice something, bats.
Bats everywhere, of all sizes.
This is the boss zone it seems.
They start attacking but I spread some webs around, they are caught in them and stay down.
They swarm us, dealing with so many small ones is annoying.
The elf's explosive arrow shots help but they are still everywhere, seems you need a decent area of effect attack here.
Bat corpses pile up as I have no choice to keep slashing away at them.
As we do this we hear a big noise, the boss bat is on the move.
It's a normal bat, not white or anything else special about it's appearance but it is the size of a bus, not as big as some game monsters but this dungeon isn't that hard so it can't be that big I suppose.
It's flying at us from halfway across the floor, that whole area is the bat zone.
The swarm of bats are still a problem as we try to cut them down.
Not so much as a threat as they are just annoying and takes too much time, we need to buy time so the elf archer prepares a big shot.
She concentrates her mana into her arrow and charges it up.
She fires it at the incoming boss bat and it hits, it's hurt from that explosive fire blow and stops for while, just what we needed.
We keep cutting down the bats and it's finally at a managble amount where we aren't swarmed anymore but who know when they will respawn so we have to hurry.
Time to finish this.

I hurl a big ball of web at the boss bat and catch it, it's wrapped nicely then I pull it in like a fish.
Acid pours from its mouth and it dissolves my web, the bigger bats also begin acid attacks now, it's getting serious.
I begin running around to avoid all the acid attacks as the elf starts shooting the bats spitting them out.
Boss bat begins another round of acid spitting and some manages to splash on me as it hits the ground.
My sides are burning off but I am being healed constantly from the healer plus my own regeneration, it won't cost me any limbs.
It still hurts though, I hurl more balls of webs around and the whole place is becoming a spider's den.
The smaller bats are caught and the boss is forced down to the ground and now my chance.
I  launch at the boss bat and bite it, poison spreads into it and I move before it bites me in return.
Need to stay close to it so I run around as I slash it's sides and look for an opening to bite more.
BITE
Another good bite in and I pour in all the poison that I can.
It's slowing down.
The girls get off and I go for it, a straight charge right at it.
I run forward as fast as I can and pierce its body with by scythe like right leg.
It bites me but I was ready for that, I endure and slice my leg away from inside it.
Blood is pouring out and it dies from my poison.
It's over.
The other bats are still here though so the rogue quickly collects it's corpse in the back and we leave.
The girls hop on me again and we hurry on out, it feels heavier than usual, like someone else is on top.
This is the most dangerous part next to the boss itself, getting out of the dungeon after spending all the effort to complete it.
There are magic items to teleport out and skills as well but we don't have those so asll we can do is go back the hard way.
