January 15- WRITING IS A PROCESS!

It's currrently 11:47 P.M. and January 15th. I just finished doing the final touches and publishing Chapter 1 of my latest novel. For once, I feel proud of my work and taking time to post it. This chapter took me around four days to actually get done. At my core, I'm a perfectionist and hate not taking my time with things! I haven't applied this to writing until now and tbh I enjoy the process. 

Day 1: I basically spent writing on my notebook the plot and what I had plan for the chapter. After that, I got right into making it and then took a break afterwards.

Day 2: I came back to wrap up the chapter and went over the manuscript I planned out for the chapter to see if I covered everything or covered TOO MUCH!

Day 3: I started revising and fixing grammar. Began breaking down my own narrating and character dialogue. Read my own chapter out loud as well.

Day 4: A little bit of revision and reassurance. Went back and fixed a few things before finally publishing the chapter.
