Chapter 7:

Shadow 3: The Shadow Takers [Part 5]

Nine

Departing for the mines of Grozath, Yiania learned everything she could about Scarlett and ensured that she would get along with Myikaru and Gorath. The carriage

continued down the solitary path that seemed to go on forever through the forest until they came to a large clearing with a stone wall. Two guards stood at the gates dressed in cloaks that were made of the blackest material. Yiania could instantly recognise that they were Shadow Takers by the robes they had on when the carriage came to a stop.

“Didn’t think I’d find two Shadow Takers here at the mines,” Yiania said with a smile as one of the guards approached the carriage.

The guard pulled back the hood on their cloak revealing the cheerful smile of girl bearing a large burn mark down the left side of her face.

“That looks like it hurt.”

“Nah. It just tickled a little. You guys looking to recruit some members I take it?”

“Yeah, it actually my first time here.”

“Oh! You’ll want to talk to the warden. She’ll help you out. Though be warned thats he’s incredibly cruel.”

“Is that so? Sounds fun,” Yiania said with a grin.

“I can take you to her, if you like.”

“That would be nice, thank you.”

The carriage entered into the inner compound of the mines. Like The Pit, it was a massive hole that spiralled down to a large castle. Yiania took note of all the guards that stood at the tops of the walls and at various checkpoints down the spiral. They are hell-bent on ensuring no one escapes this place, Yiania thought as she turned her gaze over to Scarlett.“ I want you to stand here with Gorath, okay Scarlett?”

Scarlett nodded as the carriage came to stop. Yiania and Myikaru exited to be greeted by the same girl up at the gate.

“Quite a climb you made to get down here before us,” Yiania noted with a smile.

The girl giggled.

“Yeah, I’m pretty fast. Anyway, follow me and I’ll show you to the warden’s office.”

Entering into the gates that led deeper into the mines, Yiania was greeted with a spiralling stairwell that had been paved of stone. As Yiania followed the girl, she took note of the fact their were no candles that lit the stairwell up for other guards to see.

“So, Shadow Takers run the mines around here?” Yiania asked.

“You catch on quick. We have no lights at the entrance so that in the event that prisoners try to escape they can’t see.”

“How many are here?”

“Shadow Takers? About twenty last I counted.”

The stairwell opened up to a large hub that connected to various different hallways. Above each of the different halls were the different symbols used in the Ryizian language.

“Down this hall is the staff area.”

Yiania followed the girl down the corridor until they came to iron door made of material from the shadow realm.

“So, the warden has a whole door made with material from Enfieria.”

“Can you blame her?” The girl asked as she knocked on the door once.

“Not at all. Frankly, I’m more impressed. That had to take a while to craft.”

“Actually, it took about six days.”

Yiania turned around after hearing the unfamiliar voice to notice a girl standing behind her. The girl had long white hair that was tied in a pair of pigtails held in place by a pair of black ribbons. She was dressed in an outfit with a simple orange and black colour scheme. Her top covered only her breast that were tiny in comparison to Hyira’s bosom, yet, her exposed stomach was pale and flawless. A frilly skirt that managed to barely cover the dagger strapped to the girl’s right thigh made Yiania question exactly what kind of mines she was in. Completing the outfit she wore a pair of over-the-knee socks that are in the same

black and orange scheme and in a horizontal stripped pattern. In her hand, she carried a feather duster used by many maids that worked in a minor. Around her right wrist was a scar that wrapped around her hand, appearing as if it had been sewn back on while on the upper shoulder she had a piece of barbedwire that wrapped around – digging into her flesh.

“You… are so absolutely adorable,” Yiania said with a cheerful smile.

The girl giggled in a high-pitched cutesy tone.

“I know.”

“Can I pet you!?” Myikaru asked in excitement.

“You can’t ask to—”

Before the girl with a scar on her face could say anything, the little girl with a feather duster spoke.

“Go right ahead.”

Myikaru gently rubbed the little girl’s head while Yiania leaned against the stone wall.

“I’m going to guess that you’re the warden?” Yiania asked with a smile.

“Indeed I am. My name is Rhosyanden Khlodyeir Vastyar Umbazarathimarkfphin Hoenien Lyomaia Phanthismalisa Marina Fyienvel Fyujelia Carrinaillia Orphkfina Asttyrina Quizix Whisytria the IX.”

“That is certainly a mouth full.”

“I know. Feel free to call me Honey.”

“Now that is much easier to remember.”

“Good! Let’s continue this discussion in my office.”

Honey grabbed the key that hung around her neck and unlocked the door. As Yiania entered the room, she noticed how plain the office was with only a bed in one corner. What stood out to her though was the figure sitting on his knees and chained up with barely anything covering his body aside from a blindfold.

“Was this a bad time?”

“Oh him? No, he’s apart of my room. He keeps my thirst in check”

Yiania noticed the boy’s bare cock was exposed and placed in between two wooden boards that had a small hole where it could fit it. The way he was tied up made it impossible for him to move. Honey sat down in a chair next to boy and grabbed a nearby vial.

“ You two thirsty?”

“I could go for something to drink, yeah.”

“Same.”

Honey smiled as she slowly stroked the shaft of the boy’s cock with her feather duster.

“You heard the girls. Let’s go my sweet little boy. We’re thirsty.”

The boy moaned while everyone in the room watched the tree grow slowly into a full beauty.

“Well, he waste no time.”

“I’ve trained him quite well.”

Stroking a bit faster, Honey rested her cheek against the palm of her hand. A few minutes had passed and yet the boy hadn’t released anything into the vial. Honey sighed and twisted the vial around the boy’s cock until it was firmly in place.

“And now I assume you’re going to punish him for not putting out fast enough.”

Honey’s smile turned into a grin as she slowly stroked the feather against the boy’s exposed stomach. The boy couldn’t stop the tingling feeling of the feathers against his skin as he tried to squirm. As Honey continued to tickle the boy, she used her free hand to pump the vial in such a way that still managed to turn the boy on.

“ He doesn’t like to be tickled so this will force him to put out. I do so love watching boys and girls being tickled until they can’t take it. The feeling is just so…”

Yiania could see the euphoria of pleasure on Honey’s face as she continued to tease and tickle her plaything to the verge of climax. Within a few minutes the boy could no longer hold back the rush of pleasure he was feeling from between his legs. After three times, Honey looked over the vial.

“I suppose this will do.”

Honey smiled as she handed the vial over to Yiania.

“So Yiania, what can I do for you today?” Honey asked as she leaned back in her chair.

Yiania took a sip of the white liquid in the vial before handing it over to Myikaru.

“Oh that is thick and creamy. I see why you keep him. Anyway, if you don’t mind…”

Yiania made her way over to the bed and slipped off her shoes. Laying down on the bed she stared up at the ceiling, relaxing as if she was at home.

“How do you know who I am?”

“Well, I don’t know you personally but your sister’s name travels far and wide among the Shadow Takers.”

“Is that so? Guess I didn’t know how far it spread.”

“Oh yes, you and your sister are highly regarded as two of the top-tier Shadow Takers. And while it pains me to say it, even I would lose to you in a fight against you or Ryikaria.”

“I can see why my sister grew bored after a while.”

“As would I. When you become so good that one can stand against you, your mind starts to wonder exactly what can be done.”

“Then we start creating new goals, even if they don’t align with previous actions or ideals.”

“Right.”

“Back to the question at hand, Honey. I’m trying to add to my unit. You happen to have anyone that could be of value?”

“Aside from the retired Shadow Takers like us? Nope. I could take you down there to a potential one. There was a young little thief that tried to escape. She is going to be punished in just a bit.”

“Thieves are never bad in terms of speed.”

“ Come, follow me. Oh and leave your shoes, your companion as well.”

Myikaru removed her shoes as they followed Honey down the hallway.

“Any reason for us having to leave our shoes?” Yiania asked.

“ Nope. I just love seeing cute girls without shoes. It’s so beautiful and makes them even more attractive!”

“So, you have a foot fetish?” Yiania asked with a playful smiled.

“And tickling if that can be considered one too. I enjoy watching my cute little boys and girls squirm, giggle and even force them excrete against their will.”

“Okay but what if they’re not ticklish?” Yiania asked.

“Or what if they get off from it?” Myikaru added.

“If they aren’t ticklish then I have other methods, some are incredibly painful. And if they get off from it…”

Honey thought for a second.

“You know, I’ve never thought about that. Maybe I’ll keep them as a pet.”

The three of them made their way down the hall until they came to one main hub. Taking a turn down one of the other corridors, Yiania noticed the various doors that were all made of materials from the shadow realm. She doesn’t take any chances, Yiania thought as she watched Honey open up one of the doors.

Inside the room was a young girl strapped down to a wooden table. She was stripped down into her undergarments with all the sensitive parts of her body exposed. Off to the side, was a small table that held various tools and instruments of torture from the playfully and kinky feathers to the more undesirable that no one wanted to face. The girl on the wooden table didn’t look scared – like she had been in that position before.

“Well, well, well, how is the queen of thieves today?” Honey teased.

Tracing a single finger up the girl’s leg and past her thighs, the girl squirmed slightly. She tried to keep her composure as Honey continued to up to the stomach and breast. Yiania leaned against the wall and noticed the girl had long blond hair and pale blue eyes.

“ Bite me, warden.”

Honey giggled and smiled sadistically as she brushed back the girl’s bangs from her eyes.

“She’s feisty.”

“Oh she knows that I know her little weakness. As a thief she is on her feet on day but that’s the beauty. Her feet are the weakest part of her body.”

“I’m curious, if no one as ever escaped these mines, what made you think you could?” Yiania asked.

The girl didn’t speak.

“Oh my, sweetie, you shouldn’t be rude to our guest,” Honey teased.

Tickling the sole of the girl’s left foot with the feather duster, forced the girl to jolt and squirm slightly. It was obvious by the look on her face she was trying not to laugh.

“ You know, if you answer my questions, maybe I can actually get you out of here.”

“Screw you half-pint.”

Yiania giggled and made her way over to the girl. Straddling her hips, she smiled.

“I’m trying to help you.”

“Like you can do anything to help me.”

The girl started to giggle as she felt the soles of her feet being tickled by Honey with her feather from the tips of the toes down to the heels.

“S-Stop that…”

Yiania smiled.

“Do you want her to stop?”

The girl couldn’t hold back her laugher any longer as Honey continued to tickle the girl without mercy. She tried to squirm but found it impossible with her body strapped down in an immovable position.

“Honey dear, would you mind stepping out for a moment?” Yiania asked with a smile.

Honey appeared surprised at the words that had came out of Yiania’s mouth.

“Now wait a minute, Yiania this is my—”

“Honey, do you want to fight me here and ruin your reputation?”

Taking a step back, Honey pouted as she turned for the door. After closing the door behind her, Yiania turned back to the girl.

“H-How did you do that?”

Yiania giggled.

“Now, now, don’t get too comfortable. You have information to tell me. First, let’s start with your name. I’m Yiania, Yiania Byalsheir.”

“Your… a noble…”

“And your name?”

“…”

“If you don’t talk, I’ll do far worse then what the warden was doing to you, sweetie. You saw that she didn’t try to fight me which should tell you exactly how powerful I am.”

“Orphina. You can call me that.”

“I know you’re a noble. At least give me your noble name,” Yiania said with a smile.

Orphina blushed and averted her gaze. Yiania leaned in closer to the girl’s face.

“It’s…”

Yiania giggled.

“Good to know. So, care to tell me how you tried to escape?”

“And why should I tell you? Even if you scared the warden, there is no guarantee that you’ll hold your word.”

“ That’s true. Still, I am a noble or well… I guess technically I was one.”

“Then what can do that will prove to me that I can trust you.”

“Maybe we can start with getting you out of these straps. Myikaru, let her out.”

Myikaru nodded and undid the straps. Orphina sat up and rubbed her wrist.

“Why?”

“Hmm? Why what?” Yiania asked with a smile.

“Why do you want to help me? What’s in it for you?”

“Simple. I just want your skills for my unit.”

“Unit?”

Yiania grinned with confidence.

“Interested? Tell me how you tried to escape and I’ll show you a new world.”

Orphina stood to her feet and thought about Yiania had said. Making her way over to her, she leaned into Yiania’s ear. She whispered softly as she explained how she came close to escaping the hells of the mines. Yiania smiled and wrapped her arm around Orphina’s neck.

“ Myikaru, take Orphina here to the carriage. Don’t worry about the warden, she’s mine.”

Myikaru nodded and gently grabbed Orphina’s hand. She exited the room and headed down the hallway. Orphina glared at Honey as she passed her, even sticking out her tongue in

a childish manner. Yiania watched as Myikaru led Orphina down the hallway until they were out of sight.

“I hope you know you’re indebted to me after that,” Honey said in a serious tone.

Yiania smiled and wrapped her arms around Honey’s waist from behind.

“ No niin, no niin. I have something you might enjoy.”

“ Parempi olla sina.”

Yiania giggled and rested her chin on Honey’s shoulder.

“I’ll give you a choice. Do you want me or do you want to know how that girl almost escaped?”

“You are truly a sadist.”

“They don’t call me Yiania the Sadist for nothing, you know?”

“Fine. How did she do it?”

Yiania smiled and leaned in closer to her ear. She whispered the words that Orphina had said, giving up all the details.

“Have fun, warden,” Yiania said giggling as she twirled on the ball of her foot.

#

Two whole weeks had passed until it was time for Yiania to return to the darkness of The Pit. She had explained everything that she knew about the The Pit and the Shadow Takers to Scarlett and Orphina. Both of them had seen exactly what Yiania and her team could do. They were ready to obtain that power, even if it meant the cost of their own life. The carriage continued down the road until the wall surrounding The Pit came into sight.Stopping at the gates, Yiania noticed the same girl that she had humiliated before. As the girl approached, she instantly recognised Yiania and felt her heart skip a beat.

“Y-Yiania!?”

Yiania giggled as she stepped out of the carriage.

“I-I n-need to get the captain.”

Without another word, the girl rushed over to one of the towers and made her way up the stairwell. After a minute or so, Yiania noticed a little girl walking down the stairway. The little girl had long blond hair that was tied up in a pair of twin-tails and wore silver plated armour, making her standout from the others. Under her armour was a cyan colour shirt with a similar white and cyan colour scheme with a black skirt and matching accent colour around the hem.

The girl approached Yiania and stared up at her. Yiania merely smiled cheerfully as she took note of the girl’s cyan coloured eyes. Onlookers couldn’t help but gather around as they noticed the captain was dressed and ready for combat. So, this girl is the captain. She is so cute and inexperienced that I can’t help myself. I just want to toy with her, Yiania thought as she waited for the girl to speak.

“I hear you’ve been exiting and leaving without the proper papers.”

“And if I have?” Yiania asked with a polite smile.

“Then you are to be detained.”

“You are aware of who I am, yes?”

“Yiania Byalsheir of the nine great noble families. I am aware of your status as you should also be aware of mine. I, Captain Maya Vyrdegrus, don’t give a shit if your a noble or not. To get through these gates you need papers.”

“Would a fight help to settle the matters here?”

“If you think you can beat me Byalsheir then you are sorely mistaken.”

Yiania giggled as she twirled around on the ball of her foot. This is beautiful. I’m about to have so much fun with this girl, Yiania thought as she pulled out her blade.

“Here’s what I’ll do, Captain. This sword of mine will be planted here in the ground. I will balance on top of the hilt. If my body touches the dirt, you win. If I land a blow that could kill you, I win.”

“You’re mocking me, aren’t you?”

“Indeed I am because I know you’ll lose,” Yiania said with a cheerful smile.

As Yiania planted her blade into the ground, she removed her sheath and jumped atop the hilt of the blade. Balancing on it with skill and finesse, everyone in the area appeared awestruck by what they were seeing. Captain Maya didn’t seem too phased by what she was seeing as she drew her sword – her eyes were focused on beating Yiania.

“Ready whenever you are, Captain.”

With intent to cause harm, Maya rushed forward and prepared to cut the legs out from under Yiania. Of course that is how she would start her first attack, Yiania thought as she evaded the horizontal slash with ease. With each attack, Yiania evaded it as if she could see it coming from a mile away. She continued to evade attacks with minimal effort and had only used her sheath once to block a strike aimed her for neck.

“ The hell are you!?”

Yiania could tell by the tone in Maya’s voice that she was getting angry and annoyed that she was failing to land even a single blow. She could only giggle as she continued to dodge the attacks as if nothing was going on.

“Care to find out about the secrets no one told you about, Captain?”

“If you don’t shut up—”

As Maya proceeded to follow up with an attack that would have injured a normal human, she felt something clinging to her back. In the blink of an eye, Maya found her own blade shoved against her throat with Yiania’s sheath forcing the blade in place.

“I believe you lose, Captain,” Yiania whispered into Maya’s ear as she bit it gently.

Maya winced as she tried not to move.

“I… I yield…”

Yiania smiled as she playful jumped down from Maya’s back and grabbed her blade, sticking it back into its sheath.

“Myikaru, Gorath, you two go on ahead with Scarlett and Orphina. I need to have a talk with the adorable captain.”

As the area slowly began to clear out, Yiania smiled as she looked to Maya.

“Shall we, Captain?”

Maya sheathed her sword and made her way up the stairs while Yiania followed behind. Entering into the room at the top of the tower, Yiania was greeted by a small room with a straw bed, a simple wooden table and chair in the corner, along with a single window lined with bottles of alcohol. Removing her armour and slipping out of her shoes, Maya laid back on her bed as she grabbed a bottle of alcohol that had yet to be open.

Yiania smiled as she removed her own shoes and laid down beside Maya.

“I would normally tell you to sit in that chair but at this point, I don’t think there is any reason for me to even try.”

“Don’t be so hard on yourself. If I was a normal opponent, you would have been great.”

“So, what exactly are you?”

“I’m still Yiania Byalsheir, just… half-human.”

“What do you mean?”

“It’s a long story but to put it simply, I’m half-Razviran.”

Maya sat up and stared at Yiania with a serious expression.

“Tell me everything.”

Yiania giggled and pinned Maya down on the bed. Straddling her hips, she smiled.

“In exchange for this information, no one else can ever know. Also, I want your word that after you hear my explanation that not only I but fellow comrades of mine can move freely between The Pit and the outside world.”

“ If you tell me everything, I personally vow on my family’s honour that I will uphold that deal until the end of my family’s bloodline.”

“All right, well, here’s the truth behind The Pit that you Light Bearers guard.”
