Next day arrives and we are awaiting the adventurers that will form our group to take care of the finje bee wasp hive.
No one arrives.
We wait a few more days and only 3 teams arrive, one of them are the twin couple from before.
Blonde warrior brothers and mage sisters, what a couple.
The other ones are a D rank team with 4 warriors and a team of 3 C rank middle aged men, they seem to be reserves of some kind the guild master can rely on, they really are short on reliable adventurers here.
That's 11 people there, 14 plus a spider all together.
'this should be enough right?' asks one of the twin mages.
'hmm it should suffice as long as we rely on that tarachnid to be our central point of the group' says one of the middle aged men.
'it'll be easy, finje are no problem with a big group' says the warrior team.
And we head off, the warriors are on horses while the middle age men are in a carriage.
'say you twin adventurers, we can offer you a ride if you'd like since it will take 2 days to reach a decent point where the finje roam'
'our thanks then, we gladly accept'
They are all set.

Days pass and we arrive where we previously were, more and more finje arrive.

Those are the usual kind, then there is
-Greater Finje
Those are the evolved ones that take care of the hive and are dangerous if stung but after this they usually divert instead of evolving further, these are the common role seen.
-Warrior Finje, Healer Finje, Magic Finje.
Warriors are strong enough to give E rank adventurers trouble alone.
Mages cannot kill even a D rank adventurer since they are slower and weaker than a mage of other species but their numbers make them dangerous.
Healers heal but they are rare and not found outside the nest.
-Elder Greater Finje
Those that make it without being killed gain enough experience to acquire the elder title, it is not an evolution but they change enough that some consider it to be.
Their life span is not high so even though they are elders they are still only a few years old, this can turn into a hive of finje with the elder title if they are left to build up their give uncontested.

A bigger amount of them have arrived and we have our first real fight, it ends quickly with our numbers.
'no problems, we can keep pushing further' says a warrior.
'the guild master told us the location he had scouts find out, it's underground so we need to make our way in somehow' says the rogue.
After another day of marching along we decide to rest since we should enter the main nest tommorow morning.
We would have an advantage if we attack at night but it would be too dark.
'I propose destroying the ground before entering so we have more light' says one of the old guys.
'I think so too but we aren't powerful enough to do that and still keep fighting afterwards' says the twin mages.
'it'll be fine, tara-kun here will dig it up and then you can have an easier time blasting it open' says the healer.
'that's ok right tara' she says as she smiles at me innocently, too innocently.
Well not like there's another choice, if this will improve our success then I will do it.
I approve and then we camp out for the night.
