Prologue

Good morning, sunshine!

The sky is clear. Fresh wind is blowing. The birds are singing. Deer are frolicking along the grass.

It’s looking like it’s going to be another beautiful day on this green Earth!

Except, the weird thing is that it is morning, but the sun seems to be only going down.

Shouldn’t the sunrise be, you know, rising? That’s what normally happens during the mornings, right?

Not only that, but when I look up, I only see the ground and when I look down, I see a tree and its branches full of leaves.

Oh, wait.

That’s right.

Silly me, I remember now. I must have had a very good night’s sleep for me to forget.

Yesterday, my childhood friend returned from her studies in the capital. Then, the first thing she did when we met was hang me by this tree upside-down.
