Chapter 17(Part 2) - Shop and Puke

“Hey Catte, does this dress look cute?” Lily asked Catte while holding a pastel green dress with cute frog prints all over it in front of her.

“Yeah! It suits you, so buy it!” she agreed and did a thumbs up.

“Okay! Here, this one is for you, so we will match!” Lily gave her a strong-colored green dress with printed lily pads.

“Oh! Cute!” Catte commented and smiled thankfully.

“Guys, should we have our squad uniform?” Lily asked the group who were busy picking up clothes and turned their attention towards Lily.

“Huh? But isn’t it expensive?” said Poui.

“Having a squad uniform is great, but I think we should purchase it not second-handed.” Said Hazuka.

“Really? But isn’t me and Poui just hanging out with you guys today as a celebration for being the winner earlier?” Said Qeru.

“Yep! We should!” the trio replied in unison.

Lily’s proposal had agreement, disagreements, and anxiety or confusion. But she handled it just fine because of her innocent personality.

“Qeru, what are you saying? We are friends and this is our squad!” she replied, spreading her arms to point at every one of them. This made Qeru and even Pomu feel happy and overwhelmed by how kind Lily is. They want to treasure her, such a great friend.

“Okay then…. If you say so…. Then thank you…” Qeru thanked her and smiled.

“Okay! We will schedule that soon! Have you guys already found what clothes you want? Let’s check out and go to the amusement park!” She said and held her basket. The others copied what she did and headed towards the cashier to witness such a heart-wrenching event.

Catte was just watching the cashier count every item like it was in slow motion and when their clothes were finally in the plastic, the cashier stated the price and they looked at her mouth in slow motion.

“It is 500 yuan.” She said and everyone in the group was shocked except for Lily and Hazuka. Of course, Lily already expected that price, she even expected 1000 or more yuan. And Hazuka thought it was only normal that they would reach that amount since they are so many.

For reference, it is 600 dollars in the human world. Of course, the cashier used a calculator for that.

“Let’s go!” Lily exclaimed while the group remained shocked.

While walking, Catte texted Tina that she would come home late because they would go to the amusement park. Aside from being respectful to the apartment landlord, she also did that so Tina wouldn’t worry about her whereabouts.

“Woah…………” the group mumbled in awe when they saw the bright theme of the amusement park.

Catte went there in the afternoon so she didn’t see this bright theme because they were just preparing it while they were on the Ferris wheel last time.

‘It was just like a festival…. Pretty….’ Catte thought to herself while looking around.

“Hey Lily! You said you would only treat us in the thrift store! Why did you already pay for our tickets?” Qeru asked Lily, who just said ‘whoopsie’ and covered her mouth like she really did it by accident.

“Let’s just enjoy it, shall we?” She said and pulled the group inside. It was even brighter inside than when they were just looking from the outside.

“You guys want to ride that thing?” Jillian asked the group and pointed at the big ship, swinging around, up and down.

“Uh… I think I’ll pass…” Catte rejected, suddenly remembering the traumatic experience from the caterpillar ride she rode with Kael.

“What.. such a killjoy, Catte. Come on!” Lily pulled her towards the entrance and the rest of the group followed. Of course, Hazuka was just like a secret bodyguard, looking after Lily.

He had already felt jealous since earlier because of Lily pulling everyone, but just kept quiet since it is just her friends.

‘I can’t feel Hazuka’s presence at all. Why is he hiding it? It would be much better if he came along with us.’ Lily thought to herself and looked over Hazuka to her right. What she meant by ‘come along’ was for him to speak and stop hiding his presence, but she understood it, since they were all girls.

‘Hazuka is such a shy boy, he should make his move and hold hands with Lily. What a tsundere.’ Catte thought and shook her head, confusing the person on her right.

“What’s wrong, Catte?” Lily asked her but she just shook her head, indicating that there was no problem.

Eventually, the ride started to move up and down, swinging around, like a ship on the ocean during storms. Catte already felt sick and was about to puke but she was just enduring it for the sake of the people below them.

“What’s wrong, Catte? This is so much fuuuuunnnnn...!!!!” Lily exclaimed, which made her distracted from puking and looked over her left to see Jillian almost puking, which made her puke come back.

“Oh my god……” Qeru, who was beside Jillian, was also about to puke, so Catte turned to look at Hazuka who just had his usual straight face, with his hair being blown by the wind.

“How the fuck can you stay still like that?” Catte tried to ask loudly but just felt like her puke would definitely come out, so she just shut her mouth and endured the feeling while closing her eyes.

“Oh guys! That is really fun! Do you want round two?” Lily asked the group when they finally got out of that big ship.

Catte just waved her hand to indicate that she didn’t want to anymore, Hazuka just kept standing still to avoid triggering his puke while the others just ignored it because they were busy puking.

“Lily… that is our first and last ride here… I can’t go any further….” Nagie said and puked even more at one of the toilet stalls.
