Mimic

The creature was immediately met with a shotgun blast to its face. 

Recoiling back into the wall from the bullets, its face distorted from the shrapnel that was encased in the shells. Letting out a high pitched scream, it placed its hands on its face in desperation, turning its back on Liam-31, as he continued to shoot the creature's back, which seemed to be impervious to the bullets, like its skin had turned into armor.

The creature turned back towards Liam-31, its face miraculously recovered from the shotgun blast. Without a moments notice, the creature leapt from one of the walls in the room, moving back and forth as Liam-31 tried to keep his sight on the fast moving creature.

"Recommendation: A mimic's weak point is located in their head. Proposal: Continue fire towards Mimic's head to kill it." ANTI quickly said to Liam-31, as the creature kept his eyes on Liam-31 going in for another attack, this time both of its arms turning into blade, pointing towards Liam-31's head.

Diving head first, the creature attempted to slice Liam-31's head off, but with quick agility, Liam-31 was able to duck under the attack, instead quickly grabbing his combat blade, and turning on the heat as he stabbed the creature's stomach, tearing open a gaping hole which left blood spilling where the creature fell. 

Letting out another high pitched scream, the creature quickly fled from the room, instead moving towards the bottom of the house. 

Reloading his shotgun, Liam-31 followed the creature downwards, the amount of blood that had fallen from the creature's stomach should have killed it, as a human its size would of died from blood loss.

Rushing down the stairs, Liam-31 found the creature hiding in one of the corners of the room, staring at Liam-31 as though it had garnered deep hatred towards him. Liam-31 noticed that the creature's stomach had been patched up, a giant line right down the middle of where he had stabbed the creature. 

Suddenly letting out a shriek, the creature began to transform from the appearance of a man, to that of a white humanoid, lengthy in shape, but still retaining an uncanny similarity to a human male's body. Its face no longer carried any form of facial structure, instead grooves where its eyes and mouth would be. 

Soon after shifting into its true form, the creature's faceless expression formed a maniacal grin, its white skin forming lips. Its body began to violently shake, as its hands transformed into blades far bigger than before. Its body lowered, as almost in a second, it lunged forward towards Liam-31, taking him by surprise.

Dodging the first blade, he didn't expect the blades to be longer than what the creature had previously formed, which resulted in the second blade slashing his chest, leaving a deep wound which caused blood to spurt from his body.

"Warning: Your body has suffered a serious wound. It is recommended to seek immediate medical care." ANTI said, as Liam-31 ignored their warning, instead aiming for the creature's head as it attempted to flee from his range.

The creature, keeping its range from Liam-31, lunged one of its blades towards his body, the blade elongating as to reach Liam-31. Barely dodging the attack, Liam-31 moved away from the attack, as the blade became stuck into the wall behind him. 

With what little amount of strength he had left, Liam-31 ran towards the creature with his shotgun aimed towards its head, as the creature attempted to attack him with its blade once more.

Dodging the next blade with clumsy landing, Liam-31 knew that the creature had become too cocky due to his appearance. With both of its blade stuck in the walls, it had no way of defending itself against Liam-31

Liam-31 shoved the shotgun straight into the creature's skull, as with a quick trigger finger, the creature's head blasted open, blood splattering all over the room, as the creature fell backwards, its body returning to its original state.

Wiping off the creature's blood from his visor, Liam-31 leaned on a piece of furniture to support his body, as his erratic breathing due to his injury caused his head to become dizzy. 

"Huff... ANTI, scan for any medical items in the area..." Liam-31 said with difficulty, as the A.I began to scan the area, before notifying Liam-31 of nearby medical supplies. 

With the little amount of energy Liam-31 had left from the creature's attack, he began to limp towards the location the A.I had marked; only a house away from where he had fought the creature. 

Liam-31 found it increasingly difficult to keep his body from falling, as he struggled with opening the door knob to the house. With little strength, he managed to open the door, as he was greeted with an abundance of supplies in the room's table, including a canister filled with foam that could prevent the wound from becoming more severe.

Limping towards the table, Liam-31 opened the canister, placing its head on the wound, before pushing on the canister, prompting it to release the foam into the wound.

Using up all the foam, the wound was completely covered, blocking any more blood from spilling as Liam-31 fell to the floor, his back supported by the wall. The dizziness from using all his energy to reach the medical supplies caused him to faint from exhaustion, as a red 'WARNING' sign flashed on his visor, before immediately turning off, as Liam-31 lay unconscious.
