AFTERWORD

Hello! Just want to thank you for your continued support for my series.

I think volume 12 is the longest volume I've written in terms of time duration. I mean, I wrote it in the span of two months and a week before publishing the first chapter here in Honeyfeed and on the other sites where my story is up.

Well, this is because while I wrote this afterword, we're heading into an important election for our country. I'd say 'important' because, yes, it's an election unlike any other in our history. The 2022 Philippine Elections is crucial to us common people because this is the time when our freedoms and integrity of history are threatened by the return of our dictator's (incompetent) son in power, and we as volunteers are desperately fighting to keep him off the presidential seat.

I'm one of those who are volunteering their time, effort, and even money (as well as other resources) to the campaign.

That's why I ended up finishing the story just now. Disinformation is widespread, and honestly, it takes a lot of effort and time to combat those things, especially when it comes from your own (former) students as well. I'm a teacher, and the fact that I see wrong posts (and sometimes, idiotic too) being shared online, I can't stand by and watch it spread stupidity! So yeah, that's why I ended burning up too much of my time allowance to finish an entire volume.

Probably by the time you read this, the elections are over and we have already installed a new leader. I'm hoping that the one who wins is the one whom we think is deserving of the position. I'm also hoping that I won't disappear and my tortured corpse would surface later on for public spectacle.

Anyway...so much for the negatives! Again, thank you for reading my work, and see you (hopefully) in the next one!

Oh, and by the way, the next volume will be the last one for the current arc.

Update: our campaign lost. I'm pretty much good for dead. But I'll try to finish this story before the police and/or military gets me. 😁😂🤣
