2: Old Friends (1/3)

"That's correct, Grandmaster Wu was more of a Warrior than Hein was, he knew what the right thing to do was, he knew that violence was never always the answer and that the Order was about unlocking the secrets to the blades and understanding their true purpose... I remember those stories he made, he said that there would be four of the Arkomanans that would train this child who was dubbed, 'The Lost Child' and rumours about how he was the key to understanding that purpose, I found it ridiculous but a nice fairy tale... I never knew what happened to Wu after the invasion, I guess that he isn't around anymore but there is always hope that he can help lead this 'Lost Child' into finding the purpose of the Order." Shiva was still confused about something, "But if Wu was the best then why didn't he ever talk about his victories?"

"You don't get it, dude, he was not the type of guy who would talk about what he did and didn't do, he was more focused on doing what's right rather than gloat about his achievements, he always said 'some people know the story but others know the truth'." Chrysler told them that they were almost at the location, "that quickly? I thought it would take another 30 hours!" Chrysler showed Erika how long she was out, "what the... That long?!" Erika fixed up her blade and got ready to land on Yuarel, as they landed they saw it as empty, all that was remaining was the techno lines on the floor and around them. "What's the reason for bringing me to this... Place?" Chrysler pointed at a pyramid, which opened when Erika came close to it, "it's... It's... Incredible... But what happened...?" Shiva told Erika that she needed to complete one test and it was meant to be easy.

"How so?" As Shiva escorted Erika to the test where they found a brute who was guarding the door behind him, "you have to defeat him to open that door... Think about going over him without fighting him then he grabs you and throws you out of the planet... No joke... We tried and we failed... It gave us a clue saying that we need a former member of the Arkomanan order... What's more confusing was that we were former members but we didn't prove worthy." Erika didn't understand why it wouldn't work for them but then thought that it wouldn't work for her since it didn't work for them then it couldn't work for her.

"Who are you?!" The brute talked to Erika, "I'm Erika... Erika Bellatrix... Who are you?!" The brute replied, "I am no name... And I am the guardian of his door... Do you wish to enter?" Erika thought about saying yes but then decided to say no, "No... I wish not to enter the door." Shiva and Chrysler were surprised by what Erika had told him, "why is that?" Erika replied, "I am unaware of what lies in that door... And I may not be worthy of knowing what lies behind there! So that is my reason." The brute looked at Erika with stern eyes and could see that she wasn't telling an untruth, "you may pass!" They all looked surprised at what the brute just told them, "no one has never refused to look into the door of URL, the founder of our planet." The brute escorted Erika, Shiva and Chrysler to the door and as he opened it, a bright light came escaping and dragging Erika with it, as it dropped her, it started to explode and exposes the planet to show what it was.

"It's incredible... No wonder we were never able to get in... We were too desperate to know." As the world around them started unravelling, Erika's blade started to glow, as she pulled it out... It separated from her... The blade then stopped in its tracks and went into the hands of a familiar Grandmaster, "Grandmaster Wu." Erika couldn't believe that she was seeing her former master after so many years, "surprised apprentice... Yeah well, I had some time to kill and I was able to escape and find my way to Yuarel, but I didn't know that you would survive... It's good to see you again... I see that you've met Shiva and Chrysler." They were both surprised that Wu knew who they were, "What brings you here? ... Looking at you... It seems they found you..." Erika knew that he was implying the guardians... "You're talking about the guardians... How do you know them?" Wu showed her what happened during the invasion.

Wu's past

The invaders killed most of the warriors and the apprentices while many grandmasters were forced to sacrifice their lives to stop them but their attempts failed and they were left to die other grandmasters retreated along with surviving warriors and apprentices and they barely escaped. Wu and his apprentice were long separated and he was forced to use the last of his Yakuzal Energy to escape and he found himself on the planet Yuarel, Wu looked around and saw a pyramid, he entered inside only to be greeted by a brute, Wu wished not to enter as he had no need but was forced as the brute grabbed him and opened the door... Error... Error... There is a memory error.

Erika gasped for air as to what she had seen.
