Prologue

2157: The world is facing an apocalypse due to a new type of virus. Deadly and highly mutative, the virus can change the very DNA sequence of the host gene inducing various mutations, often leading to cancer and death. In some cases where the mutations are favorable, people manage to survive, but still the very high mutation rate of the virus made it practically impossible to create a vaccine. The virus spread rapidly. The first cases appeared in Southern Europe and quickly spread to other areas such as North America, Japan, and then all over the world. Within weeks, the world plunged into chaos. Death was knocking on the doors of every household. Not even animals were safe as they were being affected as well. Newer, more aggressive species started coming out.

It looked like mankind was condemned to die through any means. Even though the military and medical science managed to create a vaccine, it was not very effective since no one knew how the virus had mutated. Scientists decided the last option was a perfect quarantine. Not the kind that has been done by the military until now, which only proved to be futile. A quarantine of 400 years. They were to take the healthiest of the remaining humans and send them to space in space stations that are habitable for a long time.

Three huge self sustainable space stations were made and three of them had 3 different objectives, the first one N.O.A.H Alpha had the objective of finding a habitable planet other than earth. The second one N.O.A.H Beta, the biggest one, had the objective to live in space as a space traveling civilization that gets its minerals and energy from various pre-researched planets that have the potential to be of use. And the third group N.O.A.H Gamma that were to stay in the solar orbit in the vicinity of the sun and return after four hundred years to reclaim the earth.
