A New Power Rises

1 Week Later

As a week goes by Soichiro trains for the Trial of The Just by having everyone attack him as he tries to block and deflect the attacks. Leo comes from above trying to stab Soichiro and Soichiro blocks the attack and throws Leo off the shield. Suki then throws her dragon spear at Soichiro and he catches it. Chozen then swoops in and attempts to attack Soichiro but Soichiro blocks it. Everyone then gathers with Soichiro. “Good Soichiro. Now it’s gonna get harder so be ready.” Chozen said. “Bring it on.” Soichiro said. Everyone went back into the trees. Soichiro gets his shield ready. Suki throws her dragon spear at Soichiro but he deflected it, causing the shield to go behind him. Suki then warps to the spear and throws the trident of the oracle at Soichiro and he dodged it. Leo appears from above attempting to stab Soichiro but trying to stab Soichiro and Soichiro blocks the attack and throws Leo off the shield, Leo throws a dagger at Soichiro but he blocks it. “What the hell?” Leo thought. Chozen then flies at Soichiro and his katana hits the shield and Soichiro deflects the attack. Chozen then throws his katana at Soichiro but Soichiro catches it. “Damn you’re that petty Chozen?” Soichiro said. Chozen kept his silence. Soichiro tosses Chozen his katana. “That was good Soichiro but you have to keep watch of your blind spots.” Chozen said. Suddenly a knife flies out of the trees, almost hitting Soichiro. Soichiro looks at the knife, notices the raven engraving and says “Shit, it’s Nighteye.” Soichiro summons the sword of the wise and the soul blade, Chozen summons his katana, Suki summons her dragon spear, and Leo summons his hyperion daggers. Nighteyes come out of the trees. Leo jumps into the air and throws a dagger into a Nighteye’s head and calls it back to his hand. “Oh shit that actually worked.” Leo thought as he came down. Soichiro dashed and started spinning, chopping off the heads of 3 Nighteye’s simultaneously. Soichiro then jumps into the air and hears a voice say “Touch the bottom of the blades together and say ordinal call connect armament.” ”What the hell? Fuck it, it's now or never.” Soichiro thought. Soichiro touches the bottoms of both blades together and says “Ordinal Call: CONNECT ARMAMENT!!!” The bottoms of the soul blade and the sword of the wise connect becoming a dual bladed sword. “What the hell?” How did Soichiro do that?” Chozen thought. Soichiro comes down and lands on the ground. Soichiro spins the sword above his head and he manages to cut off the heads of 2 Nighteyes. Suki throws her dragon spear above the remaining 2 Nighteyes, warped to it, summoned the trident of the oracle and threw both spears at the heads of both Nighteyes ending the fight. As everyone regroups they get away from the field as quickly as they can.

1 hour later

As the group finds a place to take a break Soichiro remembers that the soul blade and sword of the wise are still connected. “Shit.” Soichiro said as he summoned the double bladed sword. “Soichiro, how did you manage to connect those 2 blades together?” Chozen asked. “Look, all that happened was that when I was in the air I heard a voice say to touch the bottom of the blades together and say ordinal call connect armament.” Soichiro explained. “Then if you say the opposite then the blades will detach.” Suki Suggested. Soichiro holds the blade sideways in both hands, says “Ordinal Call: Detach Armament.” and nothing happens. “What the hell?” Soichiro said. “Ordinal Call: Disconnect Armaments.” Soichiro said. The blades start to glow and detach from each other. Soichiro then puts away the blades and the group continues their journey for the tomb of the just.
