Chapter 9: Sex Education

It was finally Friday. It had been the first school week after the Sextennial, and the students were getting antsy and excited for the weekend. Especially Moira. Jason was feeling rather excited himself. He’d given Moira the book last night, which meant it was his turn to read it tonight. He wondered what she had written down!

He couldn’t keep his eyes from glancing at her bag, knowing the book was tucked away in there. He knew that he should be focused on the teacher’s lecture, but it was getting harder and harder to pay attention.

Was this what Moira had to go through?

There was another reason that the students were so excited, and that was because the next class period would be Sexual Education, another one of their special Adult Education classes. In Health they’d learned about their bodies, things like vaginas and penises and breasts, and Jason wondered what Sexual Education would be like.

A hush fell over the class when their history teacher left and Teacher Elyse entered.

“Good morning, class,” she greeted them.

“Good morning, Teacher Elyse!” They all replied.

“Today will be your first Sexual Education Class,” she stated. “This is a very important class. Along with Intimacy Preparation Class, Sexual Education will help you better interact with your Partners in an intimate manner by increasing your understanding of sex and sexual terms.”

A few students raised their hands, but Teacher Elyse didn’t call on anyone.

“Before we begin our lecture today, I’m going to explain what ‘sex’ is,” she said, walking over to the telescreen. Everyone leaned in eagerly, Jason included. “Sex” had been a mysterious word that had flitted about the classroom all week!

The telescreen turned on, and Ai appeared.

“Hello, class! Welcome to Sexual Education!” She greeted them. “Today, we’re going to watch a video explaining all about what ‘Sex’ is! To help with that, we need to look back at our notes from Health Class about penises and vaginas!”

Skye raised her hand.

“Yes, Skye?”

“So sex is something that involves the penis and the vagina?”

“Correct! ‘Sex’ is an activity performed between Partners that involves the penis and the vagina,” Ai nodded. “Now boys, as we mentioned last time, there might be occasions when your penis gets really hard! And girls, you might have noticed that sometimes, your vagina gets really wet, even when you’re not using the bathroom! Those are signs that you need some sex!”

Jason had been confused about that last time, because he’d never experienced his penis getting hard before. Maybe he just didn’t need sex yet?

“To help learn a little bit more about sex, I’m going to need the help of two friends of mine, Tyler and Sarah!” Ai continued, and the screen switched over to a video.

“Where Does the Penis Go?” flashed onto the screen. Then it cut to Ai, wearing glasses and a long medical coat. She was on a telescreen in a room with Tyler.

“Hello there,” Ai greeted the class again. “I am Doctor Ai. And I’m here to talk to you about a medical condition suffered by every boy at one point or another.”

Jason froze. That… didn’t sound very good.

Doctor Ai turned to Tyler. “When a boy is with his Partner, his penis will sometimes fill with blood and get very big and hard. This is called an ‘erection’. When he gets an erection, his penis begins to feel very strange.”

“Doctor Ai, my penis feels very strange,” Tyler said. “It feels like I’ve just got to touch it!”

Doctor Ai turned to the class. “Now, should Tyler touch his penis?”

“No!” The class boomed.

“That’s correct. Touching your penis is against the rules, except when using the bathroom,” Doctor Ai nodded. “If you feel like your penis is acting strangely, then go to see your doctor or report to the nearest telescreen.”

“Doctor, what should I do?” Tyler asked. “My penis feels so weird!”

“If your penis is feeling weird like Tyler’s, that means you need to have sex. Tyler needs to go see his Partner, Sarah!” Doctor Ai explained. Tyler left the room and the camera followed him down the hall, to another room where Sarah was waiting. The telescreen inside turned on, and Doctor Ai reappeared.

“Hello, Tyler,” Sarah greeted him, and he returned the greeting. “What’s going on?”

“Sarah, Tyler here is having an erection right now,” Doctor Ai explained.

“Oh, no!” Sarah gasped, her eyes widening in horror. “Not an erection!”

“That’s right,” Doctor Ai nodded. “He needs sex to get rid of his erection so his penis can go back to normal.”

Doctor Ai turned to the class. “When you have an erection, you can speak to your Partner and ask them if they would like to have sex. That means that the boy will put his penis in the girl’s vagina.”

“Ew, gross!” Someone shouted, and Jason shared the sentiment. Putting a penis in a vagina? That seemed weird and uncomfortable.

Teacher Elyse shot them a look.

“Now the Partners are ready to begin having sex,” Doctor Ai said, turning back to Tyler and Sarah. “Tyler, please ask Sarah if she’s okay with you putting your penis in her vagina.”

“Sarah, may I please put my penis in your vagina?” Tyler asked.

Sarah glanced at Doctor Ai, who turned to the class. “Now girls, if your Partner asks you to put his penis in your vagina, there are two things you can say. You can either let him put his penis in your vagina, or not let him put his penis in your vagina. Let’s see what Sarah decides.”

“No, Tyler, you may not put your penis inside my vagina,” Sarah answered.

The video froze, and Ai reappeared onscreen. “Now as we just saw, Tyler is ready to have sex with Sarah, but Sarah isn’t ready to have sex with Tyler. So what should Tyler do in this situation? Should he: a) ignore Sarah and put his penis in her vagina anyway, or b) ask again later?”

The two options appeared onscreen. Several students raised their hands, including Jason.

“Yes, Jason?”

“Is it… ask again later?”

“That’s correct!” Ai nodded. “Trying to have sex with someone who is not ready to have sex is against the rules. So if Tyler wants to have sex, he should try asking again later! Yes, Moira, do you have a question?”

“So the boy asked if they could have sex, right?” She asked.

“That’s correct!”

“But can a girl ask the boy if they can have sex?” Moira was a little confused, but Jason felt the same way. A few other girls agreed.

“That’s a very good question, Moira!” Ai said. “Yes, if a boy has an erection, he can ask his Partner if he can put his penis in her vagina! And if a girl has a wet vagina, she can ask her Partner if he can put his penis in her vagina herself! Whether it is a wet vagina or an erection, the one suffering can ask their Partner for sex. And if just like how Sarah was not ready to have sex, if she asked Tyler and he said no, then she would also have to ask again later!”

“Ooooh, I get it!” Moira said, nodding along with some of the other girls.

Ai took a hand from one of the other boys next.

“So how will Tyler get rid of his erection, then?”

Ai smiled. “I’m glad you asked! Let’s see what Tyler does next!”

The video started back up. “Doctor Ai, Sarah won’t let me put my penis in her vagina! What should I do to get rid of this erection?”

“Well, Tyler, if your Partner won’t have sex with you, then what you can do is go to your nearest telescreen,” Doctor Ai said, flashing a reassuring smile. “…And you’re right here! Just explain the situation, and you will be directed to your closest Relief Room!”

Doctor Ai’s face on the telescreen was replaced with a map. Tyler turned and walked into an adjoining room, with the words RELIEF ROOM written on the door. He closed it behind him, and then returned a few seconds later with a refreshed smile on his face.

“Thank you Doctor Ai!” Tyler smiled. “My erection is gone!”

“That’s so great, Tyler!” Sarah cheered.

Doctor Ai beamed. “You’re very welcome, Tyler!” She said. “Now class, if you have an erection or a wet vagina and your Partner isn’t ready to have sex, then report to the nearest telescreen, and you will be directed to a Relief Room where we can take care of your problem!”

“It’s definitely worth it,” Tyler nodded, grinning at the camera and flashing a thumbs’ up.

“Now, if Sarah had changed her mind, and had agreed to have sex with Tyler, then the next step would be to find somewhere private,” Doctor Ai continued. “Sex is an activity that must be performed in a designated area. So if you and your Partner want to have sex, then go to the nearest telescreen and you will be shown to the closest assigned Sex Room. Remember, it’s important when participating in intimate adult activities to refrain from performing such actions in public! Thank you all for listening, and make sure to take care of those erections and wet vaginas!”

The video ended, and Ai returned.

“And there we have it! Now, if you have any questions, Teacher Elyse will be happy to answer them for you! Thank you, class! You have a nice rest of your day!” With a smile, the telescreen switched off, and Teacher Elyse walked to the front of the classroom.

Several students raised their hands, including Skye.

“Yes, Skye?”

Skye had a confused expression on her face. “I don’t understand, Teacher Elyse. If an erection or a wet vagina can be cured by going to a Relief Room, then why would anyone bother having sex? The video didn’t explain that part very well.”

“Yeah, I agree!” One boy said. “Why would anybody put their penis in their Partner’s vagina if they could just go to a Relief Room to get rid of their erection? That sounds way less gross than sex.”

Jason nodded, it seemed kind of uncomfortable to put your penis in a vagina. Was he going to have to do that with Skye at some point?

Teacher Elyse considered Skye’s question for a second before answering. “That’s because some people find sex to be an enjoyable activity,” she explained. “And there is also a limited amount of Relief Rooms available. That’s why we encourage anyone suffering from an erection or a wet vagina to first ask their Partner if they can have sex before seeking alternative treatments.”

“Oh, I understand!” Skye nodded. “I hadn’t thought about the space issue.”

As Teacher Elyse took more questions, concerning thought crossed Jason’s mind. What if Skye asked him if she could put his penis in her vagina? He had never had an erection before, and didn’t know when he could expect to have one. What if she asked him for sex right after class?

He raised his hand. “Teacher Elyse, when are we allowed to have sex?” He asked.

Moira glanced back at him. “Do you have an erection right now, or something?” She joked, and the class burst out laughing.

Teacher Elyse glared at her and the redhead fell silent. Then she turned to Jason. “To answer your question, Jason, when having sex, normally you may do so at any point during your recreation activities. However, not quite yet.”

“…Huh?” Jason wasn’t the only one confused by that.

“Although it is necessary to learn the mechanics of sex, you aren’t allowed to have sex with your Partner until you’ve completed the required Intimacy Preparation classes. Those lessons will show you how to properly interact with your Partners in an intimate manner. Any form of intimate contact between Partners before completing the required curriculum is, as usual, against the rules. Until then, if any student is suffering from an erection or a wet vagina, a Relief Room will be provided for you. Does that make sense?”

Jason nodded, sighing in relief. So he didn’t have to worry about any of that just yet. But at the same time, he found himself more than a little curious about what sort of things they would be doing in their Intimacy Preparation classes.
