Chapter 37:

Ane And Lana's Island Adventure Part 2

Ane And His Seames

Ane and Lana sat in some trees; panting. "That was quite the workout." Ane remarked whistling. His belly grumbled.

"Not surprising. I was getting hungry too." Lana said. "Although this hunger feels rather unnatural." she thought; inhaling a scent that was coming from a human sized fruit that Ane had just noticed as well.

"Jackpot." the boy said.

"I don't think that's a-" Lana began but Ane bit the fruit and ate away hungrily.

"What was that?" he inquired; turning to the girl to then slowly get dazed and stumble about dizzily.

"Ane; are you okay?" Lana asked; standing up.

"I....don't think so." Ane responded as he fell face-forward.

"This isn't good." Lana thought; rushing to Ane.

Lana was sitting next to Ane silently. "He's been like this for a couple minutes now. He isn't getting up soon, is he?" Lana thought exhaling before placing Ane on her back. "Lighter than I thought." Lana remarked; laughing.

"So you're the one trespassing." a male voice stated from behind Lana. The girl turned to the bushes to see a man with dark green hair and eyes, goggles, a lime green suit and a white shirt under.

"Who are you?" Lana inquired.

"You can't tell by my looks?" the man asked; placing his hands before him. "I'm Nathan but you'll remember me as "The Creator Of Jungles"." he replied; goggles gleaming over his eyes before leaves blew from his palms.

"Creator of Jungles, huh. He specializes in creation techniques then." Lana thought just before the leaves turned into leaf monsters.

"Leaf Cannon!" the creatures yelled; spitting a cannon of leaves at Lana who jumped into the air but some barrage of leaves still flung in her direction. Water surrounded Lana.

"Water Dome." she thought. The leaves till pierced through the water; hitting Ane and Lana who then fell to the bushy ground.

"End them." COJ(Creator Of Jungles) said. The leaf monsters shot leaf darts from their bodies and into the grass the teen fell into. COJ smiled. "Hide and Seek it is." he said; laughing.

Lana was panting as she sat on a flight of broken down stairs; Ane next to her and still motionless. Lana watched higher up their location to see a huge dilapidated temple and sighed before placing Ane on her back and running up the stairs. The girl placed Ane down at the door and pushed at the entrance in vain. "It won't budge." Lana remarked after trying for a few moments. She sighed and eyed Ane. "If Ane was awake.." she began quietly but then shook her head. "I have to get Ane and I out of this myself!" she yelled' clenching her fist determinedly.

"That's quite the vow there." COJ remarked from beneath the flight of stairs. Lana turned to him and he stared back calmly. "Why hello." he called with a wave and an evil smirk. Lana frowned.

"There's no way I can beat this guy. My water's practically useless against him." she thought; backing away. A hand grabbed Lana and a blue tail grabbed Ane from the temple and pulled them in.

"Shh." a voice whispered as the hand released Lana who then turned quickly to see a monkey-like entity who was wearing animal skins as clothing and had blue fur and hair.

"W-what are you?" Lana inquired.

"I am Sal." the creature responded; tail whipping around. "Although that doesn't really matter right now. All that does is that I am the only one who can get you away from Nathaniel." Sal continued.

"How?" Lana queried.

"I don't specialize in battle techniques so I cannot help you defeat him but I specialize in teleportation." Sal remarked. Lana rose an eyebrow.

"Can you get us off this island?" she asked.

"One of my techniques can but I shan't not waste an ability of such a caliber on you." Sal responded.

"Waste?" Lana remarked; frowning. "So why save us!?" she yelled angrily.

"I won't teleport you off this island cause Nathan won't stop until he finds you. So teleporting you away would only cause his rain of terror to spread further across this planet." Sal explained. The temple shook.

"So...can you at least get us away from here?" Lana inquired. Sal rose his hand.

"That was the plan." he said. "Dark Style: Teleportation." he remarked ass a black summoning circle appeared behind Lana and sucked her in; ending in a spiral.

Lana appeared from a summoning circle and landed face first; Ane atop of her. "Dark Teleportation, huh. I should never do that again." Lana remarked as she weakly rose to her knees; Ane falling off her.

"Her body was shaky and a seal was slowly growing on her stomach. "C-crap. This isn't...good." she groaned as mist started to fill the area. A dart suddenly hit her and she slowly turned to pass out before she could she who the assailant was.

Lana blinked awake to a tent's roof. She watched about and saw a teen girl with light brown hair, grey eyes and animal skin as clothes tending to Ane by giving him some liquid from a split coconut shell. Lana sat up. "So you're awake?" the other girl asked; eying Lana.

"Who are you?" Lana inquired.

"My name's Rachel but call me Ray." the other girl replied. "Your male friend here should wake up in about two days." she continued calmly.

"Two whole days!?" Lana questioned. Ray nodded.

"I'm not sure what exactly he consumed but it could've killed him. It's honestly surprising he's alive." Ray said.

"Well thanks for stopping me from.....back there." Lana said.

"No problem. Also; I have a question." Ray added.

"Ask away." Lana remarked.

"Where's Sal?" Ray queried. "He teleported you to me so I'm pretty sure you know where he's at momentarily." she continued. Lana shook her head.

"He was in some temple and Nathan was breaking in." she said.

"Nathan!?" Ray yelled; frowning and morphing into what Sal was. "That idiot!" she screamed.

"What-are you?" Lana asked; blinking.

"Sal and I are entities from another galaxy. He and I have been stranded here for two years now. I took the look of your species to make you more comfortable by connecting to your friend." Ray explained; exhaling.

"How exactly?" Lana asked.

"Through the lips." Ray answered bluntly. Lana's eyes were shielded and awkward silence spread across the tent. "That doesn't matter at the moment. Do you know if Sal's alive?" Ray asked.

"I'll be happy to answer that!" Nathan's voice remarked from outside. The tent seemed to be covered in moss which then tore it apart revealing Nathan who stood outside; holding up a beaten up Sal. "How pathetic." Nathan growled before flinging away the creature. Ray growled.

"I'll kill you!" she screamed; diving at Nathan. Moss wrapped around her like a cocoon and smashed her onto a rock.

"Rachel!" Lana yelled.

"One more to go." Nathan said as a rock like creature dragged itself forward; mouth opened. Moss spat from it and water from Lana's hand; brushing away the moss and uppercutting the rock creature. Lana frowned and Nathan who slowly rose his hands.  huge bark monster formed from the large tree behind Nathan and appeared before Lana.

"Crap." she thought; gulping.

Ane stood in front of Lana; holding the creature's fist. "A-Ane." Lana said. Ane's hand gripped tighter on the creature's fist and he eyed it; dragon eyes gleaming and crimson aura surrounding him.

"What is this?" Nathan thought; staring.

"Straight Forward Punch!" Ane yelled; punching the creature. It shattered apart and wind still blasted through the forest behind it. Another creature shoved Nathan out of the way. Ane walked to him. "St-stay away!" Nathan said shakily.

"Lana; get the girl outta here." Ane commanded; eying Lana who nodded and obeyed.

"Tikis." Nathan remarked; jumping back. Four small wood totem-like creatures spat from trees and approached Ane like bullets. He dodged them but one hit him in the back. Ane turned and kicked another away to then jump into the air and the totems followed. Ane's weapon appeared in his hands and he sliced apart the tikis calmly. Ane landed and exhaled before glaring at Nathan.
