A cuddly visitor Part 2

„I'm so so so so so so sorry!! I really really really didn't mean to do it! It's just that I can be a tad forgetful sometimes!“ The fox girl said who was bowing apologetically behind the changing screen and blushing intensely, while Kazuto was sitting on his bed with a clearly distinct red slap mark on his left cheek. „Ehehehe, it's fine really. I'm to blame here as well.“ Kazuto said as he stroked his slap mark. „No no! It's ok! You couldn't have known that I would be naked upon transforming.“ The fox girl said while blushing still. „Right right, so I'm gonna fetch you some of my clothes for you to wear until I go to the store to buy you some more proper clothes.“ Kazuto said as he got up and approached his wardrobe. „Oh there's no need! I-I have a solution already!“ The fox girl said timidly. „W-What do you mean?“ Kazuto asked with a puzzled look on his face. 

What followed after his question was a bright flash of light from behind the changing screen, and the fox girl emerging from it fully clothed. Upon looking at her, Kazuto was immensely surprised by the sight of the outfit the fox girl was now wearing. She was now wearing a dark purple cold shoulder crop top that sported a lovely open window for her very prominent and well endowed breasts, and since this was a crop top, her silky smooth belly was also exposed. On her legs she wore light blue jeans so short that their inseams barely moved away from the crotch area. The jeans were held in place by a brown leather belt, and lastly on her feet she was wearing white flip flops and on her neck she was wearing a choker of the same color as her crop top, with a silver amulet attached to it. The amulet had a plus insignia engraved into it. The reason why Kazuto was surprised, is because the same outfit was worn by an anime girl on a wall scroll in Kazuto's room, who was from one of Kazuto's favorite shows. 

„W-Wh-Where did you get that outfit? I mean, it's very nice and you look very pretty wearing it!“ Kazuto said as he blushed rather intensely. „Oh! -T-Thank you, I spotted it while hiding behind the screen, and the outfit looked really nice so I d-decided to morph it.“ The fox girl said as she blushed and looked away slightly as a hint of embarrassment. „Morph it?“ Kazuto asked. „Y-Yes, it is a special power associated with my kind.“ The fox girl said as she fidgeted a bit nervously. „Yeah, speaking of which, what kind of fox are you? I really thought that humanoid foxes like you only existed in fiction, mainly in fiction!“ Kazuto asked. „N-Nope, I give you my solemn word and guarantee that I'm real. Oh, right, I'm such a dummy, I haven't told you my name yet. My name is Nozomi, Nozomi Kurenai. It's great to meet you misteeeer…?“ The fox girl said with energy and enthusiasm with a pause at the end expecting to hear Kazuto's introduction. „Kazuto. Kazuto Fujiwara. Nice to meet you too!“ Kazuto said with a smile to which Nozomi smiled back timidly. 

After Kazuto and Nozomi introduced themselves, Kazuto offered some breakfast, which Nozomi accepted. „So Nozomi, what would you like for breakfast? What do you usually like to eat for breakfast?“ Kazuto asked. „Oh! Those peanuts you gave me yesterday, they were delicious! Could I have some more of them?“ Nozomi stated. „Glad you liked them, and unfortunately I don't have any left, but I do have this!“ Kazuto said as he pulled out a jar filled with beige contents. „O-Oh! What exactly is this, if I may ask?“ Nozomi asked as she observed the contents of the jar. „This is peanut butter, it's what you get when you grind a bunch of peanuts together and after some processing, you get this very tasty spread which makes for a very fantastic breakfast option. It is also usually paired up with jelly. I don't have jelly at the moment, but I like to replace jelly with jam, and it works a treat. Want me to make some for you?“ Kazuto said. „Yes, I would love some!“ Nozomi replied with a smile. 

„Coming right up! Also what flavor of jam would you like? I have strawberry, apricot and blackberry in the house currently.“ Kazuto said as he opened the cupboard which contained all the jam flavors that he mentioned. „I'll have, strawberry please!“ Nozomi said somewhat shyly. „Ooh! Great choice! Strawberry's my favorite flavor.“ Kazuto said as he took the two jars and started spreading both the peanut butter and the strawberry jam onto the two slices of bread. „I-It is? Well, strawberry is my favorite too!“ Nozomi said as her eyes sparkled a bit as they locked with Kazuto's eyes who did the same locking them into a momentary gaze. „Ehem-I-Uh! Your breakfast is ready! H-Here you go!“ Kazuto said a bit nervously and with a blush as he handed Nozomi her breakfast. „Eheh, Y-Yeah. Thank you!“ Nozomi said as she took the plate with her breakfast. Kazuto made himself the exact same breakfast as Nozomi before sitting down and enjoying the meal with her. 

„Mmmmmmm! Thish tashtesh delishious!“ Nozomi said while she was still chewing on her first bite. „I'm very glad you're enjoying your meal, it makes me even more glad that I made it for you.“ Kazuto said with a bright smile. „I'm very grateful! I'll be looking forward to another one of your meals already!“ Nozomi said as she happily nibbled on her peanut butter jam sandwich. „Yeah! Speaking of which, what's it like in your homeland, wherever that might be, and what is it that brought you to my part of the neighborhood?“ Kazuto asked. „Well, uh… I…“ Nozomi attempted to start explaining, but her lack of courage got the better of her as she started to slightly blush. „Oh! Is it a bit personal for you to talk about it? I understand.“ Kazuto said as he felt a bit guilty of probing a bit to far into Nozomi's personal life. „N-No No No No No, It's ok, it's not your fault, It's just my shyness at work.“ Nozomi said as she blushed intensely. „It's fine, take as much time as you need, I can relate to your shyness.“ Kazuto said with a gentle chuckle. „O-Ok, w-well, short and to the point, I had a bit of a fight with my family and decided to leave the clan and live somewhere else, but the problem was that I didn't know much about the world outside of my clan, so not long after embarking on my journey, I got lost. And just when all hope seemed lost, that's when you showed up, and the rest you already know.“ Nozomi finished her story. „Um, May I ask, what exactly caused you to leave your clan in the first place?“ Kazuto asked. 

„It was my parents, they kept forcing me into situations that I was not comfortable with against my will. And I felt like I had at least some say in all that in my year long life.“ Nozomi explained. „I see, I really can relate to your story. I to had a feud with my family, which is one of the several reasons I'm currently living alone. I also W-Wh-Whoa wait a minute did you just say that you are a one year old?“ Kazuto asked. „Ehehehe, y-yeah you heard that right. It's kind of a mixed bag, because our kind matures a lot faster than humans, so when you translate the age of my kind to the human age, my age would be about the same as yours, which considered old enough to make your own decisions, but on the other hand, our kind usually lives for a few centuries each, so in my community, I'm still considered a youngling.“ Nozomi explained. „Well that is a tough bind you found yourself in, anyways, where do you intend to go now?“ Kazuto asked. 

„W-Well the thing is, I didn't make any concrete plans on where I'd be going after leaving my clan. I just went instinctively and soon got lost as I already mentioned, so um, this might be a bit bold of me to ask, but, can I stay with you?“ Nozomi asked timidly, as it was very obvious she built up a lot of courage to ask such a bold question in her eyes. Kazuto's eyes widened as he almost chocked on his food after hearing what Nozomi asked. „Y-You would like to stay with me?“ Kazuto asked. „Y-Yes, I may be a bit timid and shy, but I've always wondered what the outside world is like, and at some point you mentioned something called 'anime' which I was very curious about and was hoping you could show me. A-Also I need to repay you somehow for being so nice.“ Nozomi explained with a slight blush. „Ehehe, you really don't need to repay me at all for my hospitality, it's really not needed, but if you want to live here, then you are more than welcome.“ 

Kazuto said with a chuckle as he scratched the back of his head. „Thank you so much for accepting me, but regardless of what you say, I will find a way to repay you for your kindness.“ Nozomi said with determination. „Well, I guess it can't be helped then, what did you have in mind?“ Kazuto asked with a gentle smile. „Hmmm, let's see, Oh! How about housework?“ Nozomi asked. „Housework? I mean yeah, you can do that in theory, but do you really want to? It's usually that kind of work that nobody wants to do.“ Kazuto said with a hint of confusion in his voice. „Well, I've come to this idea since I know it must be very hard for you to manage your home while going off to work for hours each day. So I feel like you need a helping hand who will share your workload.“ Nozomi explained. „O-Ok then! Thank you for offering to do this then. I really didn't expect you'd want to do this. Since today I don't need to work, I'm gonna take you to the local market and show you around the neighborhood and at the same time begin to brief you on your housekeeping tasks. Sound good?“ Kazuto asked to which Nozomi responded by happily nodding to the idea.
