Ruthless

Yuan Min turned to Lan Du and stared at her in surprise and shock, that boy he is staring at is more ruthless than he thought.

'He is decisive...but, is that really a good thing to be so ruthless at his age?'

Yuan Min thought but shook his head

Lan Du pouted

"Such a cheesy title, I still like little devil"She said

Xie Ying and Xie Jing giggled, Lan Du still made jokes at times like this, she is just too brave.Lan Du turned to instructor Lu and said.

"Enough about me, there are still curious students in this class"She said to change the subject.

Yuan Min nodded, his time here also was limited so he had to made the most out if it.He began taking in questions one at a time.Some were interesting and helpful questions, but some were quiet useless.

"Colonel, do you have a wife?"

Lan Du suddenly turned her head when she heard this question, she awaited Yuan Min's answer.It was one of the girls in the class that asked the question.

Yuan Min frowned and replied

"I indeed have a wife"he said sternly

Lan Du frowned

'so you knew she existed but you don't visit her?'

The other girls all looked disappointed when he replied, the only relief Lan Du felt was that he still knew he had a wife.

If he denied it, she would have thoroughly thrashed the word father and dad in her heart.She will never utter those words again.She will deny her blood running through her and say she has no father.

Yuan Min noticed the same hostile gaze from Lan Du again, this time he didn't point it out, instead he continued to take in questions.He just took it as Lan Du's fatigue from lack of sleep.

"My time is up, it was nice meeting our future generations, stay strong in the training"He said as he left the room and went outside.

The students watched as the mechs departed, Lan Du felt relieved when Yuan Min left, she had to put up a fake smile the whole time he was there.

On one of the mech, Yuan Min rubbed his chin

'why does that boy feel so familiar...'

Xie Ying and Xie Jing chatted with Lan Du after Yuan Min left, Qui Shan also joined in as he asked about Lan Du's reason for thrashing her opponents in the stadium.

"It felt so bloody good I couldn't help myself"she replied with a sadistic smile

Qui Shan felt shivers run down his spine when Lan Du said so, Lan Du was just too terrifying.

"Lan Du, has anyone told you that you are very scary?"Qui Shan asked

Lan Du smiled brightly and replied

"Yes, but I ignore their pleads and continue to pummel them"she said with a smile

'sadist, he is definitely a sadist!'

Qui Shan began wondering if he should run, Lan Du was just too scary.

Instructor Lu who happened to hear her also shivered slight, where did she learn such sadistic behaviors?After, lan Du went to her dorm and laid down on her bed.She felt mentally exhausted, meeting her father was a bit much for her, it became hard to contain the anger in her.

"Lan Du, I heard that Colonel Yuan visited your class, how was it?"Fatty asked enthusiastically

Lan Du waved her hand side to side

"It was mentally taxing"She said

Fatty poked his head up

"Why mentally taxing?Did you do something to offend him or something?"

Lan Du shook her head

"don't worry about it, turn on the fan for me, open the window as well, do you people never ventilate this room?It's so damn hot"She said as she sat back onto the bed and covered her eyes with her arm.

Being in the class with Yuan Min in the room was not something she could handle currently, and if Yuan Min finds out she is a girl, it will ruin everything she has done up till now.

Tie Wang opened the window up and turned on the fans.He gave monkey and fatty a worrisome look before turning back to look outside.

'lets hope those two's little brother won't rise this time' he thought and shook his head

"Lan Du, did you hear about the new trainee star in the virtual training zone?I think his name was little devil"Ling Shou said

Fatty nodded

"Though I feel that Lan Du fits that username better"fatty laughed

Lan Du knocked his head from above

"Shut up, I'm tired"She said

She laid back down and closed her eyes.Fatty held the place where she hit him

"So mean, she definitely fits the name better"He mumbled

Ling Shou nodded

Suddenly, a knocking was heard at the door.Fatty went and opened the door, but the moment he poked his head out, he was about to scream if not for the fact that the person outside held his mouth.

"Fatty, whats wrong?"Tie Wang walked over and his legs suddenly went soft

"c-c-c-c-c..."His mouth was suddenly held shut as well.Ling Shou noticed something was odd and walked over, this time, he didn't have a chance to say a thing and got knocked out directly.

Fatty and Tie Wang looked at him in pity, a human only has two hands, so since he was the third, he was forced to shut his mouth.But their hearts are still unsteady.

The person holding their mouths was...Colonel Yuan Min!

Lan Du was currently half asleep, she heard the commotion, the slightest sound would tip her off when she sleeps so she threw a pillow over at the door.

"Shut up damn it!Meeting the colonel today was hard enough for me, you three just let me have my damn sleep"She shouted before she laid back down and grumbled as she closed her eyes.

Yuan Min was surprised by her outburst, Lan Du was so calm in class, why was she so hot headed right now?And why was meeting him difficult?

He walked up

"Why was meeting the colonel difficult?"

Fatty and Tie Wang wanted to shout to warn Lan Du but the Colonel held their mouths so they couldn't let out a squeak.

Lan Du sat up, her eyes were tired and full of annoyance.

"dammit, I just want my rest, you three just won't leave me alone will you"She scratched her head and glanced over.

She saw fatty and Tie Wang being held on the mouth by a pair of strong hands, she looked up slightly and saw Colonel Yuan Min staring at her.

Lan Du suddenly began sweating, she checked her cloths before looking at him.

"Why is the colonel here?I remember you left this afternoon"Lan Du asked

"I had the mech set to auto pilot, now, tell me, why was it tiring to meet me"He asked again

Lan Du grumbled in her heart but didn't show it on the outside

"everyone has a reason to something, and so do I"She replied

Yuan Min frowned

"I will not accept this as an answer"he said sternly

Lan Du wanted to punch him in the face at this moment, he was so annoying and it wasn't easy to fool him either.Lan Du suddenly smiled slyly.

"Keep asking me and I will shout rape"She said coldly

Yuan Min was shocked, how long has it been since someone has threatened him?And a twelve year old at that!In fact, his reason was odd as well, isn't he a guy?

But after taking a closer look, he realised that Lan Du had a very pretty face for a guy.

Lan Du smirked

"I may not be able to beat you in combat or authority, but I can beat you in cheap tricks, wonder what would happen if the news was 'colonel breaks into student dorm, knocks out three and harasses the last one', colonel, what do you think?"Lan Du said

Colonel Yuan Min shuddered, the room suddenly felt isolated and a strange silence covered her.Lan Du felt something was wrong and realised that she couldn't speak.But that didn't cause her to panic.

She instead have him a cold grin

A knife slid down her sleeve and she placed the knife in front of her throat

Her actions caused Yuan Min to feel even more shocked, why is he acting so rash?Was there a need to go so far?

He grit his teeth and undid what he did previously.Lan Du felt everything return to normal and she was able to speak agin.

"Colonel, you will never be able to beat me when it comes to tricks, I have almost nothing to lose, so be careful next time you do something like that"She said with a smile

Yuan Min sighed

"Why are you going so far to avoid answering my question?"He asked

Lan Du chuckled

"I hate people probing me, I also hate when people force me to do something, as for you, you did both"She said as she fiddled with the knife in her hand.

"Then why do you have that knife on you, its dangerous"Colonel Yuan asked

Lan Du held the knife up and pointed it at him

"I don't trust people in general, only those I am close with, I have had this knife the moment I came to this dorm, but it has gotten a bit rusty since I thought there was no use for it, my room mates are as harmless as a fish on land, but self defence is always necessary"Lan Du smiled and said

Yuan Min began wondering what she has been through to cause such deep doubt towards strangers.

"Also, colonel, you should let my friends go, when I came to this room, I have set up a total of thirty six cameras, each hidden in corners of this room, I have linked the cameras up with my home computer, all the recording has already been sent, a colonel knocking out students isn't a good image to have"She said with a playful smile

Fatty and Tie Wang was shocked

'Since when did you set those up!'

They wanted to scream that out so bad but the colonel still had his hand over them.He let go after he saw three cameras turned on, but he couldn't find the rest.

"Lan Du, we're friends right?Then why is there cameras in this room!"Fatty shouted

Lan Du chuckled

"I am a vey wary person, the thirty six cameras were a lie though"Lan Du said with a smile

Colonel Yuan and the two let out a sigh or relief

'The three there should be for show then, smart boy'Yuan Min smiled and thought

Lan Du pulled up a tablet from behind her pillow, she began swiping through the tablet

"There is actually more, they are also linked with this tablet, I have the recording on what has just happened right here"Lan Du said as she showed him the recording.

The three suddenly paused...the cameras weren't the lie, it was the numbers...

Yuan Min was left speechless, this was the first time he has met someone so wary and underhanded, but they were all legit strategies to prevent problems.

"Now that you guys know, I hope you three will keep these cameras and what happened today a secret, don't expect that I only send one video, if I hear a word about what happened today, i'm sending every embarrassing things and problems you three have done online"Lan Du smiled and said, her smile was so warm and bright that it was scary

The three backed away, fatty and Tie Wang suddenly felt that Ling Shou was very lucky to be knocked out.Even Yuan Min, a colonel who has been through years of battle is slightly scared of her.

'ruthless lad, I underestimated him, I need to dispatch the top rank hackers to remove those footage' he thought

Lan Du suddenly added
