Yuan Min wondered if Lan Du was even a child, he was too calculative about everything he does and not only that, he has a ruthless personality.

"I hope none of this gets out, colonel"Lan Du said

Deep in her heart, she was quite happy, she finally had ways to go against her father without being on the same rank as him.But she still needed to be wary, if anything goes wrong, she will be in major trouble.

Yuan Min nodded and left the room.If he stayed any longer, it would only be more footage for Lan Du to use against him.He couldn't get rid of it either, she planned everything ahead already.

It was as if she was prepared for his visit, but from her previous reactions, it was clear that his visit came unexpected and she seems to hold some fort of grudge against him.

'I don't know why, but there is an odd sense of familiarity with him...'

Lan Du currently fell back onto her bed, the fatigue that built up hit her once again at full force.She was too happy previously, messing with Yuan Min and threatening him, it caused a sense of joy to swell up in her heart.

'I have really become a sadist, but this is too good, their pain, their sorrow, I love it'Lan Du closed her eyes and became a dead log that couldn't be woken up.

But this feeling wasn't enough for her, considering what her father has done, what she just did now was considered pathetic.Keeping up the smile the time as well, it wasn't easy for her.

But in her eyes, there were always bits of hostility in it that she finds difficult to suppress when she sees him.

Her mind drifted as the night passed, in her sleep, she would twist and turn, the face of her father would come up and mock her in her head.

When the sun rose, Lan Du had two black circles around her eyes, she rubbed her eyes as she got up clumsily.She seemed sloppy when she changed and her movements were slow.

"thank goodness today's class will take place in the training zone, let's hope my fatigue won't be transferred along"She mumbled and limped to class.

She met Xie Ying and Xie Jing but she was too tired to tease them.She greeted them and smiled.She then walked to class, laid her head down and began sleeping.

Xie Ying and Xie Jing looked a bit worried, Lan Du was usually quite energetic and bright but today she was like a dead log that wouldn't budge.

They decided to leave her be as she seemed tired.Lan Du slept away comfortably, not minding the background sound from other students in the class.

Instructor Lu walked in and saw her sleeping.He grabbed a chalk and threw it towards her.As if she was awake, her instincts moved her hand up and smacked the chalk away.She then began sleeping like nothing happened.

The side of his mouth twitched as instructor Lu decided to walk up to her.He raised his hand in a chopping motion and chopped down.

"ng"Lan Du felt the impact and woke up immediately

Because of her clumsy dressing, her top two buttons were undone and the bottom of her shirt was slightly lifted, revealing her jade smooth skin beneath.

*yawn*

Lan Du yawned and stretched her arms up, her smooth hips were revealed when she did so.She rubbed her eyes and her hair was in a mess.

"Lan Du, why do you seem more tired than yesterday"Instructor Lu asked

Lan Du looked up and her eyes were still slightly squinted

"nothing, nightmares"She mumbled as her head became droopy.

Instructor Lu grumbled and turned back around, but when he did so, he noticed something odd.Some of the boys were looking downwards awkwardly and their faces were bright red.They clenched their thighs together, trying to hide something.

"Whats the matter with you boys"He asked

"n-nothing sir"

Lan Du looked up and a tired smile came upon her face

"You boys are pathetic even compared to my current state, damn, this is why I hate them..."Lan Du mumbled and her eyes closed again

It turned out she was sleep talking, when she is too tired, her feelings in her heart just spills out sometimes.

"Lan Du, why do you hate guys?"

Lan Du groaned and mumbled as her eyes were shut.

"Those selfish bastards should all die, them having the third leg is useless anyways, might as well remove it all"She mumbled.

Xie Ying and Xie Jing were shocked, was Lan Du not a boy?

"How about you then?"Instructor Lu asked

"what do you know, comparing me to my old man, he is a fool!"She spat, she suddenly realised something.

Her mind's self alert began ringing and her consciousness began coming back.She looked up and stared at instructor Lu.

"What did I say"She said

"Pardon?"Instructor Lu asked

"What did I say when I was half asleep"She growled

"This...I just asked how you were"He replied

Lan DU turned to Xie Ying and Xie Jing

"Tell me truthfully, I hope you two won't lie to me"She said gently

"You were saying how your father was a fool and you hated guys"Xie Ying said

"Lan Du, aren't you also a boy?"Xie Jing added

Lan Du smiled wryly

"forget everything I said, I don't hate all guys, its just the group that's more handsome and populare than me"She said cheekily which made everyone feel speechless

Instructor Lu leaned down

"Lan Du, are you tired or are you fine now?"

"Eh, I'm fine, why?"

"Good, when we enter the training zone, I will give you a few matchups"

Lan Du's pupils shrunk, this instructor is more evil than me!

Xie Ying and Xie Jing thought back on what Lan Du has asked them to do, the chose to listen and not mention it again.Lan Du was still a bit tired but the virtual world isn't real so it wouldn't bring her fatigue in with her.

The instructor Led them to the chambers and everyone took a capsule.Lan Du logged into her little devil account and met up where the instructor told them to.But the moment she reached there, people would point at her and show respect.

"Its little Devil!"

"The one who defeated Solemn and Bear!Why is she here?"

Lan Du sat down and waited for the whole class to meet up, Xie Ying and Xie Jing was one of the earlier few as they knew the place relatively well.

Instructor Lu came in last as he was checking if everyone was in.

"Instructor, do I really have to accept the matchups?"Lan Du asked

"Yes, if you don't, I might have to increase your physical training"He smiled and said

Lan Du shivered and nodded obediently, this man was someone she could not win against.

Lan Du could only put her head down and listen, she followed behind instructor Lu with a depressed look on her face.

Xie Ying and Xie Jing laughed, they don't see Lan Du suffer often but when she does, it was always interesting.Especially because Lan Du always teased them.

Lan Du rambled to herself and felt dejected, she suddenly felt as if the fatigue had transferred in to the virtual world because of instructor Lu's words.

"Is little devil from that class?"

"Seems so, he is actually the Demon instructor's student, no wonder he is so strong"

Lan Du heard them and felt a bit more wary of instructor Lu, if even students from other classes know him as a demon instructor, he must be very influential.

"Lan Du, get on the stadium, I have the matches prepared"He said

Lan Du was actually quite eager, its just she didn't feel like fighting as much as before as she felt mentally tired from meeting Colonel Yuan.

Lan Du nodded and she was transferred to the arena in the centre of the stadium.Her classmates all stared down and watched attentively as to how she would fight.

Lan Du cracked her knuckles and stretched her arms.

The first person that Instructor Lu prepared was a young man around 16

"I don't know why instructor Lu wanted me to play with someone like you, but lets get this over with"He said arrogantly

"huh, is this insect looking down on me?"Lan Du's eyes became cold

Lan Du walked up to him slowly, the young man did't put her in his eyes as he casually threw a punch at her.Lan Du grabbed him by the hand and she tightened her grip.

"Lets go for a ride"She smiled and pulled him upwards, his entire body was lifted and immediately slammed down onto the ground ruthlessly.

She then stepped onto his shoulders and pulled the arm she was holding up.Lan Du smiled ruthlessly as she placed pressure onto her foot, a crack sound was heard and the arm broke.

"I really love this place"She said as she began pummelling his head down into the ground.The person couldn't even do anything as he was pummelled

Lan Du's sadistic smile scared the audience, although her face was blurred, it doesn't mean her expression was.

Lan Du raised her arm and struck the young man between his throat, causing his breathing to stop temporarily.She lifted her foot and kicked his ribs.

"Should I stop?Or should I keep going?"Lan Du grinned and gave him a final punch in the stomach before kicking him off the arena.

Instructor Lu's face was grim, he didn't expect Lan Du to be so vicious

"This is enough"He said

Lan Du nodded and was sent back to the crowd, she had a satisfying smile on her face when she went off.

"Instructor, do you have any other matchups for me?"Lan Du asked eagerly

Instructor Lu was at a lost for words when he heard her, Lan Du just pummelled someone half to death, if not for the fact that this was a virtual world, she would have been punished severely by the academy.

"Yes, there are two more, one is a girl while the other is a guy"He said

Lan Du's enthusiasm dropped when she heard that one was a girl, if it was a guy, she could beat them no problem, but a girl will get troublesome.

"Alright, when is the next battle?"She asked

Instructor Lu shook his head

"Are you that eager to fight someone?"He asked

"No sir, I am eager to beat a man one sidedly to the ground and leave them with no face to remain in front of me"She said jokingly

But instructor Lu didn't take it as a joke, he was convinced that she was speaking the truth.

"You are a scary kid, y'now that?"he said

Lan Du looked at him

"Really?Then I guess I need to hold back less, if scary is all you can say about me then I need to beat them senselessly without stop"Lan Du said seriously

Lan Du's goal is to inflict fear to the trainees, if she cannot, then she will have more trouble once she becomes a soldier.

Instructor Lu shook his head, he doesn't know how he should act around her anymore.She was just an odd one amongst many.

'He may not have that great of a personality, but he has the spirit'

Lan Du was sent to the arena once agin after a few matches, on the other side was a girl.She was rather calm but her body was still a bit shaky.It was clear she saw what Lan Du did to her previous contender and was a bit scared.

Lan Du smiled and waved

The girl was startled but waved back

"This match is the infamous little devil!His opponent will be a veteran amongst the trainees, Cupcake!Don't look down on her because of her nickname, she has won countless battles and has a unique fighting style"The announcer said aloud.

He was as energetic as ever.

Lan Du walked up slowly and held out one hand

"Pleased to meet you, I am the infamous little devil"Lan Du said with a smile

Cupcake was startled, but she stuck out her hand and shook Lan Du's with hesitation.She was worried Lan Du might play dirty.

"Truth be told, I named myself little devil not because of my vicious fighting methods, but I am like a little devil when it comes to relationships"Lan Du said happily

Cupcake was still wary as she nodded lightly

"Oh don't be so nervous, I don't like hitting girls, I will make it a quick one"Lan Du said with a smile

The girl tensed up, she suddenly felt her body lift up as a force pulled her collar from behind.She looked back to see Lan Du pulling her.

'When did he get there?Wasn't he just talking to me just now?'

She then felt the force stop but her body was in the air and dropped down.

"Amazing!Cupcake was thrown out before she could even fight!Little Devil wins!"The announcer called out

Cupcake looked around and saw that she was out of the arena.

'who am I?Where a I?What am I doing here?'

Lan Du's sudden action has left her in shock.She might have said she would end it quick, but wasn't this too quick!?

(Sorry to the viewers who though the part when Lan Du was half asleep seemed rushed and just odd in general, I promise, this is made my me almost a year ago where I was still naive about writing)
