Fragile heart

Instructor Lu just can't keep up with lan Du's changes, before she beats her opponents down to the ground, now she made it quick and easy.

'could it be...he only hits guys?'

Instructor Lu remembered how Lan Du said she hated guys, he was a bit confused but he felt that he now knows her a bit better.

"Lan Du, you are a weird one"Instructor Lu said

Lan Du smiled

"If I'm not weird, there is no weird person in the world"She said

She doesn't deny the fact that she is weird, because she has accepted the fact that she is weird.Lan Du chuckled and waited for her next matchup.

She wanted to beat the next person to the ground mercilessly, her heart pounded and she felt her blood rush.Excitement...

"Next up, we have Ba Tian!He is one that have yet to lose, compared to the previous matches, he is the king amongst the Trainees!His opponent will be...Little devil!, our stadium's small terror!"

Lan Du and Ba Tian were both transferred to the stadium.Lan DU felt a dangerous aura exude from the person in front of her.

'he's a tough one'

But a smile rose on her face, the stronger he was, the ore she wanted to pummel him.Her heart raced.

"Let the match begin!"

Lan Du walked up cautiously, Ba Tian was stronger than Solemn and she could feel it, Solemn was heavily based on his counters, but the one in front of her, he felt like a fortress that can both defend and attack at the same time.

Ba Tian was also wary, he has seen Lan Du's previous matches and didn't underestimate her.

When they were in a certain range within each other, they both suddenly punched, the punch landed on one another and none of them dodged.Lan Du laughed and ignored the pain on her face, she threw out another punch, but this time it was aimed at the throat.

Ba Tian raised his arm and was able to prevent it and his other hand came down in a grabbing motion.Lan Du sneered coldly and swiped her legs below his.Ba Tian jumped back slightly while holding his stance.

"You're a quick one aren't ya, lets see how long you can dodge"Lan Du smiled and threw another punch out.Ba Tian's eyes sharpened as he moved to the side and grabbed her arm.Lan Du frowned, if she was grabbed, it can spell disaster.She quickly twisted her entire body and kicked him at the same time.

Ba Tian let go in order o dodge the kick but the tip of his nose was slightly scratched.

"What a battle!The two are evenly matched and cannot land a proper hit one each other!The first punch was clearly a probe, now that they know one another's strength, they are wary, what strategical insight these two young ones have!"The announcer called out like usual, he explained everything in great detail

Lan Du continued to try and push Ba Tian back but he always seem to avoid her at the last second.She grit her teeth and tackled him.

Ba Tian snorted and grabbed her entire body to stop her.

'crap!'

Ba Tian smirked and raised her entire body up.

"It seems Ba Tian has got Little Devil in the grand slam!If he is thrown now, it would spell victory for Ba Tian!"

Lan Du quickly twisted her body and shifted slightly but was unable to get out the hold

"You think the same trick will work twice?"Ba Tian sneered

Lan Du chuckled

"I never use the same trick on the same person"She said lightly, her legs suddenly came down and gripped Ba Tian's neck.

"It seems little devil has turned the situation around, she has got him in a flying triangle choke!"The announcer called out

Lan Du tightened her legs and raised her hand, the hand forcefully pulled apart the hands holding onto her with immense brute strength.She twisted his arm and clenched her legs tighter.

"You are the first person to force me to knock someone like this, you should be proud of it"Lan Du said arrogantly

Lan Du suddenly twisted the arms harder

"But I don't like it this way, you get off too easily if I knock you out like this"Lan Du's eyes gleamed cold light as she released one arm and raised her elbow.

Lan Du then slammed down her elbow down onto Ba Tian's other arm she was still holding.

"ng"

Ba Tian felt the bone in the arm break and his legs began feeling weak.He couldn't pull Lan Du off him and her choke on him only got tighter.

"I surr..."

Before he finished, Lan Du threw a punch down at his face

"I haven't had enough fun yet, don't go running yet"Lan Du's smile full of sadism and urge to beat someone.

She raised Ba Tian's other arm and did the same, she lifted her elbow and slammed it down, breaking the arm completely.

Lan DU then jumped off him, Ba Tian was surprised she jumped off, but he soon had a bad feeling.His mind raced as he shouted out

"I surren..."

Lan Du threw another punch at his face, Ba Tian fell back, Lan Du's face was filled with joy as she continued to beat his face.

"Oh, I am so glad there is a training zone in this academy, letting loose and pummelling them"Lan Du laughed as she raised her leg and stomped down on his stomach.

"I love it, I love this place"

At this point, even Xie Ying and Xie Jing were slightly scared, but they didn't complain either, Lan Du was someone who does alls he can to help them.If they avoid her for her personality, then wouldn't that make them heartless?

They still like Lan Du for who they know her to be.

Lan Du later kicked Ba Tian off the stage after a few more rounds of beating and wiped the sweat fro the side of her face.

"This place is so realistic, even the human body responses were replicated"Lan Du smiled and was sent back.

Instructor Lu was kind of terrified himself, if Lan Du had the strength in the future, she wouldn't take things out on him would she?

Lan Du sat next to Xie Ying and Xie Jing, she noticed their slightly pale face and frowned.

'did I go too far?'

She shook her head and sighed, maybe she went a bit too far and scared them two.But the only way for he rto let out the stress in her heart about her father was by physical release.And since this was virtual reality, she takes it for granted and lets out as much stress as possible.

But she could tell that Xie Ying and Xie Jing were slightly scared.

She stood up and walked off, Xie Ying and Xie Jing saw that and when they turned, they saw Lan Du's back turned.It had a lonely feeling to it and her head was slightly down.They began worrying that maybe Lan Du realised what they were thinking about.

'Its best to leave them be for now...'

Lan Du let out a long sigh and left the stadium, her matches were over so the instructor didn't stop her.Lan Du was also uninterested in the other matches now that she was in a bad mood.Normally when she was in a bad mood, she would join a match to let out the stress, but this time it felt different.

It wasn't the usual stress she would normally feel, it was something she was not used to.

'Is this what they call rejection?'

Lan Du went towards the resting zone and took a seat down.Her physical appearance was different to her body in real life, it was an older body so people won't find it odd as she was only twelve.

She sat back and covered her eyes with one arm.She sat there motionlessly for a few minutes when two people approached her.

"Little Devil, something happen, it isn't like you to sit there like that"One of them said

Lan Du removed the arm to see Solemn standing there with Bear.They both had a smile on their faces as tehy came up.Lan Du didn't react by much, her face was still stoic and unmoved.

"Nothing, just in a bad mood today"She said

"Oh, what could possibly get the devil of the stadium to feel down?"Solemn asked

Lan Du said nothing

Solemn rubbed his chin and said with a smile

"How about we go grab a drink, you can tell us slowly, no need to feel shy, we can be considered buds now that we exchanged fists"Solemn said

"Just thinking back hurts my face"Bear said dumbly as he rubbed his face

Lan Du smiled slightly

"Sure, Imma drink it all out"Lan Du stood up and went along with them.

"So what got you so depressed"Solemn asked

Lan Du took a deep gulp from her drink, of course it was just a soft drink.

"Hah, I went a bit overboard today in the arena"She said bitterly

Solemn and bear both looked over with confusion

"Overboard?How?You always give people extra beatings, how did you go overboard with something that is already so sinister?"Bear asked

Lan Du laughed

"I scared my friends, I just enjoy myself there but I didn't expect to scare them, those two used to support me all the way, but I guess I acted a bit over the top, when I saw them, their faces were pale and I saw it in their eyes..."

"Saw what?"Bear asked dumbly

"Fear"She said solemnly

Solemn and Bear both took in a cold breath, how cruel did she become to scare even her friends?Last time they saw the two girls, they seemed to have a good relationship.

"Maybe its a misunderstanding, you should ask them"Bear said earnestly

Lan Du smiled and continued to drink

"If they feel uncomfortable around me then I should let them be, it is for the best if that is the case"She said

Solemn frowned and shouted

"Bulls**t!If that is how you really feel, why are you tearing up!"

Lan Du was shocked, she touched the side of her face and felt a liquid, she held herself and the tears continued to fall.

Bear and Solemn both began to worry, Lan Du was now breaking down in front of them but they didn't know what to do.Her body was trembling and her heart turned.

It was the feeling she hated the most...the feeling of being abandoned by someone close.Although she doesn't know her father, she knew her mother suffered from the abandonment of him.Now she has experienced it herself.

"Little Devil...we will be here if you need any support"They said slowly

They considered Lan Du a friend after their second encounter, Lan Du wasn't a bad person and they knew it after meeting her on their second encounter.

The girls by her side was genuinely happy, it wasn't a feeling that could be forced, so when they knew about how she was, they wanted to know her better.

Lan Du wiped her face and slammed the seat they were on.

"Weak...I am too damn weak, to be affected by this feeling..."She shouted as she mocked herself

Bear and Solemn didn't know what they should do, Lan Du was no acting weirdly, why did she say she was weak?It's normal to feel pain when things like this happen.

"I cannot be like my mother and give up here...thank you, you two have shown me the side of me that cares for people"She said with a smile yet not a smile.

"What do you mean?"They began to worry when they saw that smile

"Because now that I know where to find this part of me, I know which part of me to kill, caring for people will only cause pain, then why should I care?To climb up there, I must remove these useless feelings"Lan Du gave them a smile before her face became cold and walked off.

But before she left, Solemn grabbed her hand, when she turned around, she heard a 'slap' and a burning pain was felt on her face.

"You fool, do you honestly expect me to leave you like this!What do you mean kill it!I will kill you myself if you do that!"He shouted

Lan Du shook his hand off

"I am doing it for my mother, to achieve it, I am willing to set my feelings aside"She said coldly

"You don't even have a will!Much less doing it for your mother, you won't even make it a single year like this!"Solemn shouted

Lan Du bit the bottom of her lips

"It is my choice to make"She said coldly

Solemn grit his teeth and clenched his fists

"Then what would your mother think!"

Lan Du's pupils shrunk, her hands trembled

"You said you're doing it for her, but she would rather you not if she saw you this way!"

Lan Du clenched her teeth and looked down.Solemn saw that his words were getting through so he placed his hand on her shoulder.

"There are people out for you, you just need to ask"He said

Lan Du sniffed and her eyes became water.She fell to the ground on her knees and her two hands pushed onto the floor.

"You're right..."She mumbled and got herself up

She smiled and rubbed the tears away

"Thank you"She said

'He acts tough on the outside, but his heart is very fragile, he is worth making friends with'
