Sneaking in(Part 1)

The nurse patched up Lan DU’s arm and back up and applied some medicine.The back will heal nicely with the current medicine but the problem was the arm.

Lan Du’s arms are basically shattered and there were bone fragments scattered around.

She gently touched Lan Du’s arm and felt her bone.She made sure that she didn’t cause her any pain when she did so.

“Lan Du, your arm is almost completely broken, healing it will take months...and if you want fast recovery, the medicine required can cost millions”the nurse said grimly

Lan Du frowned

“I will try and earn the money...”Lan Du looked down on her arm and sighed

‘There’s a gambling section in the training zone...but it’s restricted for seniors only’

Lan Du stood up and began walking, she left the infirmary and walked off.The nurse tried to stop her but Lan Du was adamant on leaving.

She met up with the Xie sisters, the Xue brothers left earlier since this was the junior section of the academy.

Lan Du went back to her dorm to rest, when she entered, her room mates stared at her arm in shock.

“Lan Du, what happened to your arm!”Tie Wang called out in shock

Lan Du smiled bitterly and said

“Something happened and that something led to another...so I jumped out the second floor of a hospital”Lan Du smiled bitterly and said

The three gasped out loud as they stared at Lan Du’s arm.Why in the world did she jump out a building from the second floor!

“L-Lan Du, suicide isn’t a good option, if there is something weighing down on you, you can tell us”Fatty said nervously

Lan Du smiled and raised her leg up.She then kicked him in the stomach which sent him flying into the bed.

“Say that again and I throw you out the window”she said gently

They all shivered under her gentle and kind smile, this is not the right expression!She should be angry!But somehow this is much scarier.

“Y-yes sir!”the said with a frightened expression

Lan Du smiled and stared at her bunk, it was on the top so it isn’t easy for her to get up.

She frowned slightly and placed one leg on the ladder.She leaned forward to stay on and pushed herself upwards.

She used her chin to get a grip on the bed.The other three looked at her weirdly.

“Lan Du, how about we help you up?”Tie Wang asked as he reached out his hand

“Don’t touch me”she said coldly as she raised her other leg up and pushed herself onto the bed.

Tie Wang backed away in fright when she did so.

She looked down and sighed

“Sorry, I just had a bad experience today...I don’t feel well with someone reaching out to me from behind”she said apologetically

Tie Wang waved hai hand side to side as he said

“no, I was at fault, I didn’t know about your situation and still...”

Lan Du smiled at him

“It’s fine, you three can do your usual, just don’t disturb my rest”She sat back and leaned on the wall, she didn't lay down and instead closed her eyes.Her heart was still in a mess, her father is onto her and now knows of her existence.

If he does some research, then she might be in big trouble.She was relieved that she removed 

all nearby cameras around her house so there should be no footage of her leaving or being there in general.

Her room mates were currently very worried about her, her arm was broken and she seems to 

have trouble doing anything.

"Should we try to raise some money for her?"Tie Wang suggested"mn, her arm is in such bad shape, the treatment needed must be expensive"Ling Shou 

nodded

The three nodded at each other and made a pact.Lan Du was asleep already so she didn't 

know about what they said.

When the day passed, Lan Du jumped off the top bunk, she stared at her clothing which was in 

a mess, she shook her body slightly to make sure nothing was too out of sort.She couldn't change into her uniform so she just went to class in the cloths she wore yesterday as she didn't change it.

When she entered the class, there were gazes of sympathy and a bit of strangeness.

"Lan Du, what happened to your arm?"Qui Shan walked up and asked

Lan Du sighed"Is this all people ask of me now?I don't want to talk about it"She said and sat downHer entire arm was covered in bandages and hanged beside her motionlessly.The only 

movement was it swinging around when she walked.

Lan Du felt a bit annoyed with all the gazes landed on her, she glared at the people who looked at her, causing them to turn their heads back and look down.

Xie Jing and Xie Ying walked in and sat next to her, their gazes were that of distress and anxious for her wellbeing.

"Lan Du, are you fine?"Xie Ying asked

"Your state was terrible yesterday, and who was that man chasing you?"Xie Jing asked

Lan Du wanted to pinch their cheeks so badly but her arms couldn't move.So she just smiled and replied:

"I'm fine, as for the man chasing me, pretend that never happened, knowing it will only cause more trouble"Lan Du was worried her father will find out about her through these two as he has seen them with her before.

They looked down and nodded obediently

"Thats good, you two are just too cute, if my arms could move, i'd pinch your adorable little cheeks"Lan Du tittered and said

Xie Jing and Xie Ying pouted and pinched Lan Du's cheeks

"Since our arm can't move, we have to make the best of this"They said together and poked her cheeks again.

Lan Du was taken aback and asked

"Since when did you two take the initiative?hm, seems my usual tactic won't work"She said and stuck out her tongue slightly

"I'm a bit thirsty, could you two get a bottle of water for me?"Lan Du asked, her tongue poking out slightly made many people's heart skip a beat.

Xie Jing and Xie Ying was sent into a daze and nodded, they held out a bottle of water and opened the lid.Xie Jing lifted the bottle and poured some into Lan Du's mouth.Lan Du drank 

some but some dripped down her mouth and slid down her neck.

"ah, that was a bit too much, your techniques aren't that great, the liquid spilled everywhere"Lan Du said

The class suddenly blushed.Lan Du's wording was just too inappropriate yet accurate.Of course, Lan Du said it intentionally.

"L-Lan Du, wording!"Xie Ying shouted with a red face

Lan Du snickered

"What are you thinking about?The water dripped everywhere, what else should I say?"She said as she licked the side of her lips.

It was human instinct to lick something beside the mouth so what Lan Du just did was completely unintentional.But her unintentional action made the boys and girls in the class blush instinctively.

Adding on the water dripping down her cloths, the students began having wild imaginations as they blushed more intensely.

"Why is everyone blushing?"Lan Du looked around and asked

Xie Jing and Xie Ying let out a few awkward coughs.Lan Du was just too bad!

Instructor Lu then came in to see all the students blushing while looking down, he turned to 

see Lan Du and gave a rough guess at what has happened.

He then took a closer look and saw Lan Du's arm.

"What happened, why is your arm all wrapped up?"He asked

Lan Du replied

"The sisters were being so fierce yesterday and pulled me into a room with another lady, she 

had pretty good techniques"She said as she let out a shy look

Xie Jing and Xie Ying wanted to hide at this moment, Lan Du's statement was correct yet in the 

completely wrong direction.The technique she meant was the nurse's bandaging techniques!She somehow made it sound so innapropriate.

"Cough, Lan Du, answer seriously"Instructor Lu said

Lan Du blinked and said innocently

"Whatever do you mean?I hurt my arm so the sisters pulled me into the nurses office, the 

nurse was great at bandaging my arm, my answer was serious"She said lightly

Instructor Lu suddenly had an urge to bang his head onto the wall, Lan Du is definitely taking 

revenge for the training exercises he gave her.

The class would have laughed if not for the fact that they also had the same misunderstanding 

from Lan Du's statement.

"Enough, today's physical training, Lan Du, you are sitting out"He said with a cough

Lan Du frowned and stood up

"Sir, i will continued the training today"She said in a pressing manner

Instructor Lu furrowed his brows as he stared at her arms.

"Your arm is broken, how can you do the training?"He said

Lan Du replied

"It's just some exercise, I will just increase the amount that doesn't require my arms so make 

up for it"

Instructor Lu sighed

"Fine, do what you want"He waved his hand and gave in easily, after all, he trusted that Lan Du wouldn't overdo herself.

Lan Du smiled and sat back down.

The Xie sisters admired Lan Du, even though she was injured, she was willing to do the training still.

But to Lan adult, it was for a complete different reason.In truth, it was due to her prideful self.

She was not willing to show weakness in front of anyone, showing weakness was like a crime in her heart.

If others were weak, she would’t care, but if she was weak, that is a different case.Even an ounce of weakness is a flaw to her.

They later went to the training ground from last time.Lan Du felt a aching feel when she reached it.What has happened last time has left a scar in her heart.

When they began, Lan Du asked the sisters to help put on some weight in her leg.She had 

them put on a total of forty kilos all together.

“Lan Du, don’t overdo yourself”They said together

Lan Du smiled warmly and nodded.She felt touched by their worry.

“Lan Du, since you’re injured, I won’t have you run as much, three hundred metres will do”Instructor Lu said with a evil smile

Lan Du almost fel when she heard him.Three hundred metres?That is worse than last time!This time she is wearing the forty kilos weight the whole run!

Eighty metres was enough to tire her out, much less three hundred metres!

But she could only smile wryly and start running.But as she ran, there was only 1 thing on her 

mind.And that was to fix her arm.

‘If colonel Yuan sees my arm, he will recognize me immediately, I need to finish this training as soon as possible’

As she ran, this thought clouded her mind that she didn’t even know how much she ran.Her sense of hearing was instinctively blocked due to her abnormal state and only snapped out 

when a sudden burden slammed down on her body.

Her legs get like they would collapse and her breathing was heavy.

“H-how much did I run?”she asked

“Only two hundred, better continue running”Instructor Lu said with a smile.

Lan Du sighed and was prepared to continue running when she was stopped by the Xie sisters.

“Lan Du, at least know how much you ran, instructor Lu is just messing with you, you finished the three hundred metres a while ago”Xie Ying said as she wiped Lan Du’s sweat with a wet towel.

“Yeah, how can you be so clueless?But how ddI you do it?Last time you collapsed much earlier with the weights on”Xie Jing said as she took out a bottle and gave some to Lan Du.

Lan Du shook her head

“I do t know either, I was just in thought”she said and sat down by the side.

‘How did I do it...could my spiritual strength have risen and broke through?’

Lan Du felt her body was stronger than before, though she was tired, she could feel that she was stronger than before.

But that didn’t matter at the moment, she was focused in treating her arm so she left the place without saying a word.

Instructor Lu saw it but didn’t stop her nor ask her why she was leaving.He knew that Lan Du can be carefree at times so he didn’t bother.

After all, Lan Du doesn’t always listen to commands made by superiors.She even dared to talk back at colonel yuan, what isn’t she afraid to do?
